Quick check in, and very friendly. My dog and I went out for a bit and when we came back the light was on in the room and a doggy bag was there with a note attached from Amber. It wished me and my dog an enjoyable stay. It was hand written and had my dogs name on the note. There were treats and some dog cleanup bags in a zip lock bag. What a great touch. If you're staying there, see if you can get a room in the south side of the building. I could hear the work going on at the near by railroad throughout the night. Otherwise, great value, great location and amazingly friendly staff

Best Western in Peace River, my home from home. They have (almost) everything a person could need…read morewhen staying in Peace River for work, or pleasure, or the pleasure of work. The rooms are well appointed, I love the fact there's a convection job and a microwave in there - I can make my dinners and eat somewhat healthily when away from home. There's a full size fridge and freezer too, perfect for storing my mountains of salad and boiled eggs. The beds are comfy, no trouble getting a good night's sleep here. The hotel also has a reasonably priced laundry facility, there are only 2 machines but I've yet to have a problem getting access to one when I need it. A small gym is great for getting your fitness game on, and! There's a steam room and hot tub. The staff are also most accommodating. Great hotel!

Shouldn't a beef burger taste like beef?? Poutine was a paltry smothering of dark pre-packaged gravy and a smattering of mozzarella cheese on top. Yuck. Another classic Western Budget…read more The rooms are past an upgrade by about 30 years. Dark, dingy and haven't had an upgrade since the building was put together. The beds are low to the ground and lumpy. They have Wi-Fi if you're lucky enough to connect. You're better off using dial up though. At least their is a restaurant and pub in the parking lot, that's really the only reason for the 2 star rating. I guess I'll go drink until I forget I'm staying here tonight. Will be emailing the office tomorrow to have this place removed from our places to stay for staff in the area.
