I've been to this park a few times now for their seasonal events as well as just regular days and I gotta say that every time I leave I count my days tell I can come back because I every time I come here I have a ton of fun! The park has a few roller coasters with the best one of them being Twisted Typhoon a Vekoma SLC and I must say this is one of the best versions of this out there as it's not that rough and very much so a Wild time! They have a handful of good options here everything that I have tried here has been delicious and flavorful especially when they do their food festivals, with my favorite of them being the Pumpkin Spice one as they had soo many unique options packed with that yummy flavor! The animals here are seriously one of the coolest parts of this park as you can feed a variety of them and get very personal encounters with them that is hard to come by anywhere else which makes for a really cool experience as well as an educational piece. They have a handful of rides here including a train and a Farris Wheel leaving something for everyone to enjoy! One of my favorite areas of the park has to be their swamp area where they have a boardwalk that takes you down a path around some animals and deep into the swamp nature making for one peaceful and beautiful experience that leaves you wanting to spend more time out here as this is a great way to forget where you are as it really doesn't feel like your at an amusement park while your out there. They also have a Waterpark in the back of the park that has a handful of slides as well as a lazy River that perfect for those hot days! Every time I come here everyone has always been super nice friendly which makes for a great experience every visit! Overall this is a truly great park that has something for everyone it is a great asset to the local community as well because it provides a positive experience for anyone that comes here! Totally add this to your bookmarks as it is a great destination park to spend some time at as they do also offer places to camp and park your RV at in the back, with that said I'm sure I'll be back here sooner than later as it is definitely time well spent in a wild way!

I took my kids to the Valdosta theater today for a noon movie. I bought our tickets online and…read moreplanned to buy pizza there so they could eat lunch while we watched the movie. When we arrived, the food machines were down -- which apparently isn't the first time this has happened. Their food and snack options are already limited, so this completely changed our plans. Because of that, I asked for a refund. The manager initially agreed and started processing it, but then was stopped by who I assume was the owner and told they could not issue the refund. Instead, I was offered a paper ticket pass, which was not the outcome I wanted since this situation was not my fault. On top of that, the theaters are consistently not very clean, which has been an ongoing issue. Overall, this was a frustrating experience, especially when taking small kids. Better communication, cleaner theaters, and honoring refunds when services aren't available would go a long way.

The people who work for the theatre guild are amazing! I wish I could participate every time they have a play but I'm a doctoral candidate and it's impossible but when I'm done I'd love to audition again. I had a blast and met some amazing people. At the end of the show they all lined up outside for the guests to get to say hi. It's a smaller theater so you don't have to worry about noselbleed sections. You can get a decent view from anywhere. I'm happy to see this small town venue has held up through the pandemic and that it can continue to bring the community some enjoyment. My only complaint is that you can't bring anything into the theater. Water is provided during the 15 minute intermission. Also I'm a person who keeps my house pretty cold but if you're sensitive to cooler air I'd recommend a jacket. Overall I'd highly recommend this place if you are able to get the tickets ahead of time and get the opportunity. I've only been to the one show but I'll be returning and will update my review. I'm positively optimistic about this place!

It is little more then a sidewalk and some shrubs…read more It is to remember a gentleman named William "Mack" Freeman, who owns the flower gallery and had a vision on creating the downtown area into a vibrant part of the community. He passed away on March 13, 2000 at only forty-one years of age, but this area is a lovely way to remember a man who was obviously beloved in his community. Again, this is not really a park, but more of a tribute. But it is a nice tribute that I'm glad that I found this while walking around downtown Valdosta, Georgia.
