I understand there is stuff going on but zero communication from the front desk. I felt like they forgot about us. Now The front desk employee got up and left for the day. I was feeling terrible. It one point my throat was so sore. I thought it might be strep but then my voice sounded thick so I thought it might be mono. My husband, I got over Covid a month prior so I suppose it could've been that. The nurse tested me for strep, mono, flu, Covid and they all came back negative. The nurse practitioner that I dealt with seemed a little bit more skeptical of me. His bedside manner seemed more accusatory than helpful. He offered me a steroid shot (which I declined without knowing what was ailing me). She (nurse) came back in, and before discharging me offered to do one more test because she was pretty convinced, like me that I had something. She took the extra step to do another throat culture for other bacteria and viruses. It was the most thorough throat culture I've had. That can be a good or bad thing- lol. They called me two days later.(today) and confirmed that I have a bacterial infection and they called in a prescription to my preferred pharmacy. The service I received from the nurse made the entire experience a good one. I'll definitely go back if I can't get into my regular doctors office. read more

Husband awakened with sudden severe back pain. This was our 1st visit to the Canton GA Peachtree Immediate Care on Transit Ave. What a great experience! We were greeted promptly and were able to see Christopher Cottle. He examined my husband, took X-rays and prescribed medications. Husband was so much better this morning I couldn't believe it. The facility was clean, and professionally staffed. I suggest getting an appointment online. Those with appointments are treated prior to walk-ins if I understand correctly. Nobody ever plans on going to Urgent Care. Much less on a Saturday night. I got nicked on the forehead at 6 pm (kitchen casualty) then after an hour with my company's Triage, they sent me here. I then trodded off after telling my team that I'm off to see the plastic surgeon and should be better looking tomorrow. The facility was very easy to find and park, walked in with my trusty mask. I was thinking how frightful in doing this if you needed to go to the actual Hospital... filled out forms waited for 10 minutes got called in and did another triage, then waited for another RN to see if my injury was fixable with stiches. Glue was the solution, after irrigating for a bit, finally got my glue and tape on.i got my Tetnus Shot and out the door in an hour and 10 minutes. place was clean, people were nice and there was no drama there at all. read more

Please don't let the previous negative reviews steer you away from getting medical help in Canton! Everyone from the receptionist, to the practitioners and doctors were all incredibly kind, personable, and informative! I went in about 30 minutes before they closed and ended up being the last patient of the day, but they took care of me like I was their first of the day. While the original wait time was an hour due to other patients already being cared for (understandable especially with the current shortage of medical staff), the wait was only 15-20 minutes at maximum. I was walked through all the proper procedures of registration, and during my appointment, I was listened to, treated with respect and dignity, and given everything needed to ease my pain. I did a telemed visit because 4 kids don't leave me a whole lot of time to GO to the doctor. I'm pretty sure I have a sinus infection. I've had a bunch in my lifetime. I wasted 30 minutes and probably going to be charged a crap ton of money to be told I probably had covid and to go get tested. Don't go into medicine if you aren't going to listen to the patient. Update: I went elsewhere. Tested negative for covid and took them less than 5 minutes to confirm I have a sinus infection. read more

Facility was great and people were very well trained. But billing was a NIGHTMARE! I was asked for a credit card when I checked in. Seeing as I did not have my medical HSA card, I gave my regular credit card because I was told I could change the card. Received a bill via email with instruction that card on file would be charged if I did not pay in 7 days. Tried to call 5 times and was hold for 2 hours each time, never getting an answer. Tried to pay online countless times only to be told there was an error and I needed to call. My credit card was billed and now I am on the hook for money I do not have and did not want billed to that credit card. DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. read more

Today, I took my boyfriend to this urgent care to make sure he wasn't positive for flu. Before being told he was NOT, but instead had a upper respiratory virus, he was told by Dr. Douglas White that a prescription of codeine with tylenol would help him sleep. Fortunately, he does not have the flu and this unbelievably irresponsible prescription was never written. As a PICU nurse, it's my business to know these facts and they're far from lost on the general public: "Public health officials have called the current opioid epidemic the worst drug crisis in American history, killing more than 33,000 people in 2015. Overdose deaths were nearly equal to the number of deaths from car crashes. Received prompt care, but was given xray of hand without lead shield - technician said she had focused the xray so it was not necessary - sounded like an excuse for an oversight. I WAS there right AT 8 and they would NOT see my husband, who was shaking like a leaf from fever. They must have turned their system off at 7:59 and turning it back on is SO hard! Those two women at the front desk will not work one more minute than they have to. Why don't you move over and give the job to someone that actually wants to work? Unemployment may be low, but there's still people wanting jobs!! Don't recommend it. Drive downtown to Holy Springs or Towne Lake to a different urgent care. One with people that actually CARE!! It seems as though "health and wellness" is the least of their concerns. After an abrupt diagnosis for COVID, I knew there was something else off. I begged to be checked for bronchitis or pneumonia, as I've had it before, and also being 7 months pregnant, I am genuinely concerned for my health and my babies. She took two listens with her stethoscope as I coughed violently both times while breathing in deep, she said nope nice and clear! A day later and I have a rattle in my chest and a wheeze in my cough. I now have to find someone else and another facility that cares about their patients, unlike this clinic. read more

I usually don't post reviews but after seeing all the negative ones I felt it was necessary. I was worried about coming here after reading them but I'm glad that I still did. I had a cold with a lingering cough that wouldn't quit. Seems like it's been going around. Staff here is great, very warm and kind. They all listened to my needs and we're very attentive. I made an appointment online and was able to upload my insurance card and information ahead of time, so easy! When I got there I did wait, but that's how urgent care places work. I feel it's very typical to wait. It wasn't long at all. They got me in, once I was in a room it was quick with the doctor. They tested me for a few things, wrote some prescriptions and I was on my way. The Dr was so kind. Overall great experience. Don't let these reviews keep you from going in if you need to! Bullshit customer service. I came in at 3:30. The girl at the front desk said it would be over an hour wait, there was ONE person in the waiting room!! She asked if I wanted to set an appointment. She said with an appointment I would get called right back. So I took the next available, 6pm. Got back at 5:45pm and sat in the waiting room for an hour! Now I've been in the exam room for an hour. I used to hate this place when I first reviewed it. Since then many changes have been made. My nurse Christian sees me come in all the time, I'm always either sick or going through some shit I swear. He is always so nice and goes above and beyond to remind me that he's there for me and has my best interest at heart. I usually get a different doctor every time, but Christian is always there taking care of me. Most of the doctors there are sooo happy and kind. The last time I went my doctor Dr. Curtis sat down with me and talked through personal issues with me and made everything better. She treated me as more than just her patient. I will forever return to this doctor despite my review years ago. They have turned completely around. read more

Have used this facility twice. While the nurses and doctors are fine, the way the office is run is total crap...they expect to have a credit card on hand "in case they need to charge your card" in the event there is something wrong with your insurance. Ok, check- I give them a VISA gift card with a $1 balance on it so my son can be seen. We get in there and are seen by the doctor and everything is fine. They file with my primary insurance and get paid, but neglect to file with my secondary despite me being very clear that I had secondary insurance and them taking a PHOTOCOPY of the card. Long story short, after almost a year, and multiple hours on the phone, secondary insurance finally received what they needed from this facility to pay the bill. Unless you just like headaches, don't visit this urgent care- there are too many to choose from. read more

I had an appointment with the urgent care this morning. I filled out the paperwork and gave them my 3 insurance cards. I paid my copay. The office wanted me to sign a form that they could make charges to my credit card and keep my credit card on file. I refused to sign the form. The urgent care refused to treat me. I asked for my copay to be refunded. I left the facility. I have never been treated in this manner because of my excellent insurance coverage. I will not recommend or return to this urgent care. read more

I have really bad teeth. My normal doctor at my primary office wasn't on call. In desperation I was told to visit urgent care for help. I already had a dentist appointment made, and continued to try to find closer dates. I could not find anyone who could give me a closer date so again, was told urgent care could help. One molar has completely broken off, leaving only the root and pulp exposed. I have never experienced pain like this. I am talking take your breath, shake and cry pain. Upon arrival, I have already taken over the maximum amount of advil and otc medication. I am fully aware of the risks with this, but at this point anything was better than what I was experiencing. I had barely said tooth pain before she accused me of wanting a narcotic prescription. I explained to her what was wrong, and showed her my exposed tooth. Previous to this I had gone through almost every dentist in my area. This urgent care was my last hope for some type of help. Let it be known, I was NOT looking for a painkiller subscription. I simply wanted help to accelerate an appointment with a dentist, and to make sure I wasn't abscessed or infected. She told me I was going to develop holes in my stomach if I didn't quit taking the advil medication, and that I needed to force myself to eat. I explained again the pain that comes with the root being exposed to anything, and that's why I had not eaten. I was interrupted and scolded for not eating and taking medicine. She continued to interrupt me and insinuate that I was just looking for painkillers. I left feeling belittled, in tears and out of $200. read more

Peachtree Immediate care charged my checking 50.00, flex plan 31.18 , and my husband's credit card 480.00all on the same day 3/24. I never received a bill from them and they told me that they dont send them and that I signed permission for them to do this. Please be aware tht if you sign anything like this, they can charge you without telling you! We have always paid our bills and I have never been past due with them and have used their clinic before. According to their CEO, this is their billibg practice. They claim I swiped all 3 cards for those 2 visits(NOT). Just a warning, use someone else! read more

This practice needs to change their name because this place is far from "immediate". I sat there with the beginnings of pink eye (what Dr. diagnosed me later with) for over TWO HOURS before being able to speak to someone. I was the only one in that waiting room who actually seemed contagious but yet everyone else got to go ahead of me. Although the staff was nice and very polite they called in the wrong prescription (didn't realize until after I picked up at pharmacy). Now it has been almost 6 hours and still waiting on the right kind of antibiotics! This place would be better off with either better and more qualified doctors or shut down. Enough said. read more

I needed to go to urgent care tonight, at 7:00 I called them to see what their wait time was because they close at 8. I didn't want to go wait if I wouldn't be seen. When I asked the receptionist she said the wait was 45 mins to an hr, my response was, so if I got there soon do u think I would be seen...... crickets! She says nothing! I waited... excuse me ? Will I still be seen or do you not take patients back after 8 even if they are signed in... VERY hateful she responds, I said the wait was 45 mins to an hr IF you get here now. If you get here after you still have to wait and you might be seen. I understand 100% people have bad days, I don't know the circumstances but leave your attitude at home when you come to work! They say they are open till nine pm. What they mean is that they do not take patients after nine pm. I showed up at 830 pm. I was told that the patient rooms were full and with one person waiting, I would not seen until after nine, and they would be closed then. At least K Mart takes care of you as long as you are in the door before closing. read more
