That's very out of the ordinary in most retail shops in Lexington. It was nice to see. Anthropologie has primarily women's clothing. Since "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman", I love their home goods section. From pillows and bedding to kitchen supplies, it's all great quality. I have several plates and mugs from here and always get compliments on them. They're also very unique! Another favorite area is the skin care section. They have several different face masks for various needs. Also, there is wonderful lotions and moisturizers that I've tried. They all smell amazing and actually do wonders for your skin. They have some cute items, but the prices for clothing are very high. You can also shop online, and many of the items are in the $200-$300 range. Items on the "cheaper" side range $50-$70. They do have some cute small gift items that are more reasonably priced, both in the store and online. If you're looking for some high-end items, Scout & Molly's may be for you. Though I think their merchandise is nice, it's just not in my typical price range so I likely won't be shopping here often.

I not only left with a stunning outfit for the races, but, some stellar pieces for my professional wardrobe and everyday life as well. Finding clothes that look great on me is often challenging, but, here it was easy to find great pieces that fit my body. With my most recent trip to town, I shopped there a few different times and was pleasantly surprised to find new pieces to choose from. The workers spoke to her in a disrespectful way and then went as far as to tell her she had to buy a shirt because it had makeup on it when she didn't even put makeup on it in the first place. And even if she had, it is NOT legal to force a customer to purchase an item that they don't want. This is not only terrible customer service, it's a complete lack of training and professionalism. Employees need to understand the store policies, consumer rights, and most importantly, how to treat people with respect. "The customer is always right" exists for a reason, and this experience shows me that Brandy Melville has lost touch with that completely. I'm disgusted that this happened, and I think the worker who said this should face real consequences from the company. Until Brandy Melville trains their staff properly and learns how to respect customers, I won't ever be shopping here again.
