Some jewelry, some of everything. It's more comfortable & private than many places. We enjoyed shopping together. Someone has a green thumb & I wish they sold plants & unusual planters here. I would go outta my way to go back. Say 'hey' to Admiral! He's a sweetie.

Not traditional for sure, and I always find a small item that adds a splash of color and uniqueness to my home. Most prices are pretty reasonable. They also have an extensive vintage clothing selection. They have a lot of art and modern prints. They get new inventory often and do great Instagram sales as well. They do Venmo sales. And they have a ton of plants and planters; I wish I had a green thumb because their stock is amazing. Just today, I learned one of their plants in the store is reported to have lived with a couple for over 50 years. The owners are young, hip, creative, and very nice. They are taking social distancing and cleanliness seriously. This is in my top two or three shopping spots in Lexington.

The staff here is so helpful. We came here looking for a dresser and found one! It was delivered…read morethe next day. Delivery was only $45 and they brought it up our stairs for us. We have been looking for a dresser for over a month and all of the furniture stores are back ordered. Some of them wouldn't be back in stock until end of November! We didn't want to wait that long. Another Mans Treasure sells some of their items right off the floor. They do have some items you can order but just like all of the other furniture stores they could be back ordered. Expect 12 weeks for those items. And they do not offer returns, exchanges, etc. they have big signs at the check out stands. They also have a large range of items from brand new to antique and inventory is always changing. I will be back when I am ready for my next piece of furniture.

I was super excited when I first went in here. Lots of cool pieces at super low prices. I wanted to…read moresee more actual antique-type items and they only had a few of these and they weren't interesting to me. Most everything they had were new items and some had some major flaws. But what really excited me was that they had some cool framed paintings at what I thought were good prices. Yes, they were reproductions, but at least they weren't made in China. We bought a big 3' x 4' Van Gough reproduction. It was cheaply framed, but for the price I thought it was fine. However, I didn't count on two things: 1. I didn't think to actually touch the painting in the store because that is rude. However, once I got it home, I realized the oil paint is tacky to the touch. It has been weeks and it won't dry. So, dog hair and lint stick to it. 2. The frame is SO cheap that it can't support its own weight. It was displayed on an easel in the store but as soon as we tried to hang it at home, the frame promptly broke. I called and spoke to a manager and she insisted that the painting was dry in the store (um, I am pretty sure paintings don't go from dry to wet again) and that the painting was hanging in the store when we bought it (not true) so it should be fine. She claimed that it must have become wet again by us taking it home when it was raining (it was dry and sunny when we bought it). She did not offer to refund or replace our purchase. If their items are so cheap that they fall apart when you get them home, then it doesn't matter how good the price is. I don't think I will buy anything here again.

This is a great little sewing shop! I have been a regular customer for 14 years now and have found…read morethe staff to be so easy to work with. Always helpful and willing to share their expertise, they have taught me more about the ever-changing field of home sewing and machine embroidery than I ever thought i could learn. Sandy absolutely loves sewing and working with people and Vicki is the perfect associate. Their attention to detail and continuing education with Viking serve their clientele expertly. I am sorry Leslie did not have a good experience on her only visit there. She should drop by more frequently and get to know the staff and take a class or two. Then she will learn how accommodating they are. They freely share their knowledge and carefully guide their customers through difficult projects. Thread, scissors, and other basic sewing supplies are on hand to be shared freely in class. Other shops do not provide this kind of service; you must buy a new spool of thread and other accessories. Customers are also encouraged to drop in for help with a project, at no charge. (I understand that at least one other shop in Lexington requires an appointment for such help and charges a fee.) Technical assistance with software and help using the machines are also freely given. Sandy's son Will is a Viking certified technician and expertly handles repairs. One other comment to those who would judge any business on the basis of one visit: no one can please all the people all the time. Sandy has owned and operated her business very successfully for almost 30 years. She's doing something right!

He said he didn't know the arrangement that his mom made. He said to give him a couple of hours and he would have it done (1pm). I reminded him of the list of issues I needed addressed that I typed out and gave to Sandy. He said he would look for it. Approximately 3 hours later (at 2:30pm), I arrived to pick up my machine. He said it wasn't done, but that I could take it. I reminded him that: * I live far away * I couldn't return for several more days * I couldn't leave my laptop * And at the time of dropping off my machine, I was assured that 1 week was more than enough time to see about/repair any issues my machine was having He started yelling at me that his mom was sick today and he couldn't do it all. He was yelling, waving his arms around, stomping off and slamming stuff. He continued yelling at me in front of the customers in the store. When I got my machine in my hands, he said to "just get out and I'll do it for free just leave!" I was unable to have a calm conversation with him or was he willing to come to a solution. He continued yelling, "MY MOM IS SICK TODAY". Now I have to pay someone else for my Free First Cleaning/Maintenance on a machine I bought there 6 months prior. I left the store visibly upset. The verbal abuse was intense A customer was lost.
