Dublin Toy Emporium - Very pleasing to the eye and carefully selected items

Really hard to walk out without any. But "mama won't be happy with either of us if we bring another toy home" works most of the time. Educational stuff, costumes, dolls, goofy little trinkets, big playsets, just so much. Well worth a visit, though maybe come alone and shop for birthdays or Xmas, because if you bring your kid, they are going to give you the business.

Cons, they are selling fake Needohs which is for one illegal, and the person working first tried to tell me they were real, and then tried to tell me it was fine that they are doing it. It's not. When you sell something using another company's branding that isn't from the company it's copyright infringement which makes it a counterfeit product and illegal. It's confusing for customers that don't know any better. Not to mention they are double the price of actual Needohs. This bothers me especially because my mother in law came home super excited because she finally found one for my son. I didn't have the heart to tell her it was fake. I'm sure plenty of others are being duped as well. It's disappointing coming from a reputable toy store. Please stop.

The staff working when we stopped in were talking to each other and barely acknowledged us and we were the only people in the store. The part that was frustrating was that I had called several times to see if they were open since it was a holiday and they did not answer the phone. We decided to chance it anyway since we were already at Easton, and when we got there to see them just ignoring phone calls was annoying. Prices are higher than other stores, but they do have a great selection so if we lived in the area we would come back, but since it's so far away we won't.

I was disappointed upon visiting, though, that the shop has nothing that makes it stand out. The closest comparison around town would be Larson's in Upper Arlington. Larson's trumps Learning Express in all categories, though. Learning Express just seems like a room full of random toys. There is no real order to it all. Even more unfortunate is the fact that it is extremely cluttered. Kids couldn't really have fun here like they do at other toys stores. Learning-oriented toys and games are the focus here, predictably. They all roughly adhere to this rule, though there seems to be more traditional toys like dolls and such here than at other learning toy stores. Honestly, a place like this mostly serves to remind me that I miss the Discovery Channel Store.

When my contractor began assembling the shed, we discovered that 4 boards were missing from the shipment. After contacting Lowe's, I was directed to the vendor, Little Cottage Co., where I spoke with a representative named Matt Yoder. Unfortunately, the customer service I received was unacceptable. Rather than showing empathy or accountability for the company's mistake, Matt was dismissive, laughed during the conversation, and repeatedly minimized the situation by saying, "people make mistakes." While I absolutely understand that mistakes happen, customers should not be expected to financially or logistically absorb those mistakes after spending thousands of dollars on a product. His only solution was for me to personally go purchase the missing lumber with my own money and "send a receipt for reimbursement," yet no clear instructions were provided on where or how to submit that reimbursement. I explained multiple times that I had already paid a contractor for a scheduled installation day, that rain was expected for the following week, and that delaying the project could damage the exposed wood materials. None of these concerns were taken seriously. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of professionalism and customer care. I even requested to speak with someone above him or obtain corporate contact information, and he refused to provide it. I rarely leave negative reviews, but consumers deserve to know what type of customer service they may encounter if issues arise. The product shipment was incomplete, and the handling of the situation afterward was even worse. I cannot recommend Little Cottage Co. based on my experience.
