We were paired up with Dr. Starakiewicz (aka Dr. Star) and she is as sweet as pie but knowledgeable and trustworthy as well. She always makes sure to really listen to concerns and answer them with thoughtful answers. She genuinely cares about the children in her practice and you can't help but feel like your child is in great hands. Additionally, we had met with Dr. Jha around endocrinology concerns and I was so impressed with her fantastic way with my daughter in making her feel comfortable and at ease with less than comfortable topics and her knowledge in the area. I'm pretty sure she may have been even more knowledgeable than my own endocrinologist. All in all, the staff here and the doctors are amazing and I can't recommend them enough.

I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a pediatrician for their children. Karen is the RN on staff and she's been there forever. She's extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. All the nurse practitioners and staff are all very kind. Eastside Clinical is located right up the street in case you need to do labs. They are associated with Just Sick Kids which is on the other side of the building. It's basically a walk-in/after hours office that is staffed with nurse practitioners. It's very convenient for sick calls when you're unable to get an appointment. Edit* I realized this is the Smithfield office. While I'm sure this office is wonderful as well not that we visit the Lincoln office

I was very hesitant switching Drs. However, as soon as we had our first appointment with Dr. Monty, I was automatically put at ease. She is amazing. I'm very glad I was able to find her. I called them yesterday afternoon as my 2 month old has a cold. She felt warm, so I grabbed the only thermometer my mom had, the one you put to the forehead. It read a fever and glowed red. I never dealt with a sick 2 month old, so I'm freaking out. I brought her in yesterday at 3:30. Because of her age and low grade fever and difficulty breathing they sent us to Newton-Wellesley Hospital. We were there until about 9pm, getting home after 10pm. when i brought her back this morning, she was no longer concerned. Just have to wait it out. Long story short: I would recommend coming here. Dr. Monty is amazing.

What is the point of having a PCP? Whenever we do get in for routine appointments it goes well, but I need a doctor who can see my kids when they are sick, not just when they are healthy. Made appointment for 5:45. It is now 7:05. We have still not been seen. Told there is only 1…read moreprovider. If they were honest about appointment times I would not have come. Seen at 7:12. The medical tech is super friendly! The physician is efficient, funny, explains clearly, listens and is helpful. If the company stop being cheap & paid for additional staff like these two, it would be an awesome place. It is now 7:25, almost 2 hours later and we are done.

No medical asst that generally is there to take vital signs prior to seeing the Doctor or PA (…read morephysician's asst.) who is certainly qualified to see patients in this setting. The radiologist technician took my vitals ( just a little unusual that he'd do the vitals) Usually a medical Asst is there. However, he was very nice & welcoming ( Dillon) I went in for cough, fever, general fatigue. Chest xray done and the PA ( physician asst) by the name of C. Pickering informed me my chest x-ray was normal. He prescribed an inhaler and 2 ( two!) antibiotics. ( Amoxicillin & Doxycycline) If the chest x-ray was " normal " why would I need 2 antibiotics let alone one? Well, I wouldn't!! Only bacterial infections require an antibiotic and since he said my x-ray was normal I'd assume this was viral therefore not needing antibiotics. Well, I get to CVS and the PA calls me and tells me that I actually have pneumonia in my left lung. I'm not happy at this point for such confusion telling me my xray is normal and now it's not! I'm 72 yrs old and having pneumonia at my age is a serious health concern because aging weakens the immune system and lung function, increasing risks for complications like respiratory failure, sepsis, and even death, with mortality rates "significantly higher" in older adults. I'm a retired RN so this is why i'm knowledgeable. So here I am with an inhaler ( that's fine) but two antibiotics! So which one do I take? I opted for the stronger one and if I'm not better I'll return to see my primary care Doctor. ( His office was closed today hence urgent care) Please opt for another urgent care if you need one or call and see who's on duty. If it's C. Pickering then pass and go elsewhere please. Children are also seen here so I'd be very cautious. Wishing you all a Happy Holiday Season and continued good health.
