They were the ONLY company that removes the siding before installing the windows. They install the windows like new construction with a "nail flange". Having built homes myself years ago, I can tell you they do it the right way. From Matt the sales person to the office and the install team they are top notch. In shipment, one of the windows was broken but was replaced eventually (supply chain delays) . In January we were informed by Shop manager the window was in, but when install team arrived they didn't have correct window so the window had to be reordered due to lace of communications within Windows of Wisconsin. In March, we finally were notified the correct window was in, and we had it installed. The finish work was not completed as they didn't have the correct materials with them to complete the work. The Shop manager called me after I finally sent an email indicating my lack of satisfaction with their processes. The Shop manager called and did apologize for the absolute lake of communications and said he would PERSONALLY come and finish the job. On the agreed upon date and time he was supposed to PERSONALLY come he ended up sending one of his installers to complete the job. Ultimately the job was still not complete because their team member came without the proper moldings etc. and also when asked about the initial post installation inspection list of items needing to be completed he had obsoletely NO idea about it. I would definitely recommend the windows, but I would NOT even consider hiring this company to do any future projects for my house.

Guys that came out were very nice but did forget there miter saw had to use mine no big deal. Left a gap inside on part of trim until I said something. Left the screen at warehouse and when I called was told they forgot it. Then they called me and said it has to be put on the frame as the screen is not connected to its frame. Then they would just drop it off and I would have to make sure it fits properly. Would not recommend them to anyone.

It was a poor experience in that the original representative was two hours late and the second person they sent out (who indicated he was a higher rank/position than the prior rep) was rude. The prices are also unnecessarily high and that's after they have talked down the price three times (gross sales gimmicks). BUT, I was interested in a Kitchen renovation and saw an ad for home buddy.com that suggested it would give me the average/going rate for renovations in my area. After plugging in my information, it misleadingly connected me with Mad City. They texted me and I responded with "stop" per the instructions if I was no longer interested. But Mad City proceeded to call me twice that night and 10 times the following day. I picked up and talked a representative THREE times. I told them the website that I put my info into did not mention it was connected with Mad City and had I known it would, I would not have inquired. I relayed the negative experience that I was not interested in their services and the first caller was respectful. The second caller seemed unaware that I had responded to the first caller and hung up on me after I told him. The third time, I very directly told the caller that I had told two other callers that I was not interested and to stop calling me. He talked over me the whole time, like that was supposed to make me change my mind and work with them. Don't let them bully you too.
