If you need a Dr, just go to the emergency room.. peak Vista staff and "doctors" are only qualified enough to tell you that you're wrong, and that their policies exist. The Dr here gave me 9 whole days from work so my broken bone can heal. Yeah. 9 days. When bones take 3 to 6 weeks to begin the healing process. Mal feasance and malpractice are the same thing. went in for new patient appointment for high blood pressure. the NP listened to my heart and that was it. I'm a nurse but I didn't mention that and she really didn't care at all about my health. she is into something else not the patient. will not be seeing her ever again poor care. read more

There are multiple things I like about this location but there are many that I don't like as well. There is an employee that I asked his full name because I wanted to write this review and his name is Mike Pechtold who is an absolute mess! He was run and smelled terrible! Like shower buddy! He roomed me once and you could tell how new he was by the way he worked. He was very slow and not knowledgeable at all! I don't know why they hire people who have no idea what they are doing? He only roomed me once so I'm very glad I didn't have to deal with him too much. Then there is this nurse she's the rudest person! She was so stuck up. It was like she was looking down on me for being there. He name was Kala and she was terrible as well. I've seen her multiple times in the halls and I've heard her talk about patients like they were poor pathetic human beings. We may not have as much money as she does but what we have is compassion which she definitely does not! I don't go in to be judged I go in to be treated for medical conditions and she doesn't see that. I dread that call from her on my labs or medication refills. Otherwise I enjoy coming to this location more than any of the other locations. read more

I almost died under the care of Nico Gigante NP and Stacey Stephens at Peak Vista! Nico Gigante and Stacey Stephens provided horrible care at Peak Vista! Nico Gigante's ego is too big for his education as Nurse Practitioner! Neither is qualified to deny me any healthcare referral! I would have died under their care. I was treated very badly by Nico Gigante NP on who refused to give me a referral to a Cardiologist and a sleep study. Nico Gigante NP reminds me of Judge Judy. You can't discuss the reason your there. He tells you to be quiet because he wants to just ask the questions and your answers must be very short like yes or no. This is totally the wrong profession for Nico. I told Nico this generic heart pill isn't working and my blood pressure is very high. He tells me I'm on a good pill for my heart. I told Nico I can't breathe the second my eyes close and that I need a sleep study. Nico denied my referrals for a Cardiologist and sleep study and had the nerve to call me a hypochondriac and tell me I needed to see a psychiatrist on my last two visits! He treated me like I was making up symptoms/ailments. Everyone in my family has either died of or has Congestive heart failure. My mother died of Congestive heart failure. I was blessed to find another healthcare facility that accepted my insurance and they immediately referred me to a Cardiologist. I was immediately told by the Cardiologist that I was on the wrong version of my generic heart pill!!!! My name brand heart pill has 2 generic versions of it and they are two totally different pills: one treats arrhythmia (which I have) and the other pill treats heart failure and that was the wrong pill I was mistakenly on for 10 years! The medication screw up on the generic version happened in Kansas. I have been on the wrong generic version for 10 years! I have spent 10 years trying to get a referral to a Cardiologist to get my generic heart pill changed (I have spent almost 4 years out of that 10 years trying to get a referral to see a Cardiologist through Peak Vista!) Can you imagine the amount of suffering I've been through and still going through from being on the wrong heart pill for 10 years???? I now have so many referrals, including a sleep study through my new healthcare provider due to being on the wrong heart pill for 10 years! I now have to mention Stacey Stephens or Stephens Stacey. When I first started going to Peak Vista I was seeing Dr. Cump and was told he would refer me to a Cardiologist. I never got a referral to see a Cardiologist and Dr. Cump had moved up and was over other doctors. I was automatically assigned a new doctor: Stacey Stephens or Stephens Stacey and he would not give me my referral to see a Cardiologist even though Dr. Cump had told me he would refer me to one. Stacey Stephens acted like I was making up my symptoms about how my heart felt and still no referral for a Cardiologist. I remember going to Stacey Stephens for my pointer finger from a fall. Care for my finger was at a snails pace at Peak Vista. Stacey Stephens didn't believe I fell and hurt my finger. I also hurt my elbow, hip and knee. The rest healed up, but after wearing a finger splint I couldn't bend my finger, the tip of my finger was numb and my entire finger was swollen and he ordered tests for Rheumatoid Arthritis. The tests came back negative of course! I told him again that I fell. Now 2 years later and my finger is still swollen and I'm still in physical therapy for my finger and seeing an Orthopedic Surgeon. I also saw Stacey Stephens for a bladder/kidney infection. I was told my urine looked ok a month ago? What does a month ago have to do with today??? Plus the urine one month ago was for other tests. About 5 days later I had to be treated at an after hours clinic for my severe bladder/kidney infection. I switched doctors and got Nico Gigante and the rest is history! Most of my symptoms and complaints were stemmed from being on the wrong generic version of my heart pill for 10 years! I'm lucky to be alive, but I'm still not out of the woods because of it. read more

I've been a patient here since the early 90's and have usually gotten excellent care. If you're a patient you can usually get same day appointments with your provider or another if you're ill so I don't get the "having to wait a month for appointment" comment from another person. After scheduling an apointment for me the cancled it with out my permission. I did not find this out until I showed up for my appointment. Then they wanted to reschedule me for a day that I was working saying its the only thing we have open. But what happened to my appointment in the first place!! Now I have to miss two days of work thanks to thier "professional scheduling." read more

Must be on drugs 24/7. No other explainable reason why they would call to inform a client they've changed that client's appointment to THE SAME DAY THEY CALLED THAT PERSON, but not leave a message and then when that client gets off of work and calls them back they explain the appointment is at 330 and the client is 15 min away and has 15 min to get there because as far as she knew the appt was scheduled for tomorrow and now she has to drive across town in 15 minutes. Cherry on top though - said client gets to this awful place and there's no record she's existed in their system... ever... not only not tomorrow... but never. And then the pretty little sprinkles on top of this delicious experience on a Wednesday afternoon, she is not treated like a person with a very (VERY) painful problem that needs to be treated by a physician asap, she is treated as though she is a rat who has just emerged from the sewer. No appointment today LADY WHO DOESN'T EXIST IN OUR SYSTEM, you can come back in a MONTH for a DIAGNOSIS (of which she has had from multiple other obgyns, and went to ER recently for), because this is a government run facility.
