I called this clinic and they said they could do his vaccine. I arrived for his appointment and the staff was all very nice and friendly and everything looked very clean. We were moved next door to another waiting room and they asked to see his vaccine card which I provided. They asked me why I was getting a third dose and I said because the Pfizer vaccine for infants is 3 doses. She asked me but who told you that you needed a third dose. I was kind of stumped and responded Pfizer and tx childrens told me...... She said I'll be right back and left with my son's vaccine card. At this point I am extremely unconfutable with having my son vaccinated here as they clearly do not even know the vaccine schedule. If she had not have taken the vaccine card I would have just left. So I waited a bit then she came back and said they don't have the pfizer infant dose. I said I was told that y'all did when I called and scheduled a couple of days ago. She apologized and said that they do not have it. So the whole thing wound up being a waste of time. So while everyone was very nice, there is some communication issues with their scheduling staff as well as some education issues. If they are administering vaccines, they should at least be aware of the vaccine schedule. I did really like that this clinic is smaller and it felt like you got more individualized attention versus other pediatric clinics that always seem overcrowded.

As I arrive to check-in for my appointment, Eliana mentions that the type of appointments I have booked won't be covered by insurance and I need to pick one. My response to her was, "Why is she just now telling me at check-in and why didn't anyone call me prior when I've had the appointment booked for over a week." She proceeds to tell me that someone did call me and I was unreachable and they left a voicemail. I explained to her that someone only called to confirm my appointment and never mentioned needing to only select one of the type of appointments booked. As I'm continuing to explain to Eliana, she is over- talking, interrupting me while I'm talking, and making smirking faces. I eventually ask for her name and the name and contact information of her manager. She tries to write down the general email address and phone number to the clinic like I wouldn't be aware. Luckily the manager Aimee was able to come up and speak with me regarding the matter. Aimee was very sweet and apologetic unlike her incompetent and entitled front desk staff. Although, I felt management handled me appropriately, I refused to continue with the appointment. I truly despise of people that work in customer service and lack customer service skills. If you decide to work in a clinic where there are patients who are sick or ill then being able to handle them with care should be your top priority. The front desk at Pearland Physicians would be better office working in a warehouse with boxes and avoiding any customer contact. Under no circumstances will I be returning.

I didn't have a primary doctor because I was new to the area & this doctor took me 3-4 days to find. The doctor wasn't a good listener, and a doctors job is to process the information from patients & come up with a diagnosis. So if you're not a good listener it's impossible to be a good doctor. Dr. Wang is also horrible, 50% because of the language barrier & 50% just because he sucks at what he does. I felt like the appointment was more of a cross examination vs being a meeting with someone that works for me. His beside manner is atrocious and he's extremely heavy handed during examinations. I have the theory that only 10% of people that hold any position are good at their jobs & Pearland Physicians is part of the 90% that are horrible. Avoid this place even if you have a job in the same shopping center. Trust me, you'd be better off driving an hour & a half across town to a doctor, than taking 10 steps to make an appointment here.

She just kept saying the people in front of you are here for physicals and have blood work etc. First off, you shouldn't be telling me why other patients are there. Second you knew the time those appts would take. So why schedule mine so close to theirs? When I made the appt I was advised that they would be able to get me in and out within an hour since the appts were at the beginning of the morning. It's sad bc the doctor Patel was pretty good and the nurse was kind as well. However, I doubt I'll go back because complete disrespect for people's time. If you can't see the patients that quickly don't schedule so many in the same slot. Don't lie and say you can do something that you can't do. Don't tell me you can get me in and out if you can't. Just be honest.

All I got was an egotistical administrator, who raved about working in the office for 9 years, that refused to even contact my insurance company in reference to an adjustment in a referral, which is what the insurance company told me to have my pcp do. Sad..I'll be changing pcp's once this ordeal is over with, because Dr. Hoffman herself is actually a good physician! Too bad her staff's ego ruined this relationship.. then again, I'm sure it's no loss to them, as I'm sure another patient will walk in, thus having them bleed another individuals insurance benefits.. steer clear!

With my prior insurance, I had a private doctor who never canceled in over 11 years. There were times I had to see his PA or NP, but never total cancelations of days and times of appointments exclusive of a natural disaster. Not only is this disruptive to the patient's schedule, but depending on the provider type and appointment, I may have to wait weeks to reschedule or make a painful drive to another location. One cancelation is an inconvenience. Four times is incompetence.

Most of the links were not active so I was only able to enter past surgeries. Not that it matters anyway because they make you fill out 17 pages of new patient information at the office duplicating the information I entered in the portal. I had arrived 30 minutes early and had the information completed 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I then proceeded to wait, and wait and wait. At 30 minutes past my appointment time, I inquired as to how much longer it would be. I was informed there was still one person ahead of me. In the hour that I had already been there, they had called nobody out of that front lobby so I asked for my new patient information that I completed and left. Dr. Schmidt may well be a good physician but I will never know. If you value your time, you may want to look elsewhere. If you don't, this may well be your place. My first time seeing her, I was off put by the fact that she was smoking outside of her office. Then we walk inside and her staff looks like they rolled out of bed and hardly acknowledged my existence. I did get right in to see her without any wait but I wasn't prepared to be yelled at minutes later. I had had a colonoscopy about a month prior and ended up with an infection. I was just there to get a refill on antibiotics. However, she persistently kept asking if I was pregnant. At that point in my life, I was DEFINITELY still a virgin. No ifs, ands, or buts. I told her that and she kept asking me in disbelief. Finally, she makes some snarky comment and leaves the room. When she comes back, she tells me she was running a test on me for Lupus. I of course freak out because I do not want Lupus. She then basically tells me to grow up and that's it. The test results came back a week later and were negative (phew), however, she goes on to tell me that it could be a false negative. What?!? You don't say that to a patient that has been worried sick for a week and then gets good news. I will say that all of this happened many many years ago, but I just felt I should share since I didn't see any reviews for her. You could not pay me to go back to her.
