So I was upset at first. I went in for tooth pain and was referred for a root canal. Who wants that!?! I paid $450 to get Xrays and Scaling. Dr. Taz did a great job. Was promised a payment plan for future work, which was rescinded at the last minute. When I had to cancel my appointment, I was subsequently charged $25 for canceling the appointment that day. At first, I was quoted $250 to pull 3 teeth, then bait & switch, I was told that the cost would be $150 per tooth. I called the owner's practice in Newtown to register my dissatisfaction. I was told that the owner, Dr. Paghdiwala, would call back. He never even bothered. Total scam factory! Run the other way! read more

Dr. Paghdiwala is an outstanding dentist with incredible talent, amazing judgement, and relentless patience. His passion for dentistry always translates into the work he does for his patients. I have been going to Dr. P for many years now, and he always greets me with a warm smile and offers me the best dental advice. His assistants are also very efficient and effective, making you feel comfortable even while taking x-rays. A few months ago I was having terrible wisdom tooth pain, and he decided it was time to extract the tooth. A notoriously painful procedure went extremely smoothly for me, all thanks to Dr. Paghdiwala. By the next day, I was already eating solid foods and didn't even need to take pain killers. As a fifty something year old guy, my teeth have gotten a little more off white, yellow, or gray in color every year compared to a front cap that I have had for over 20 years. It may be from drinking a lot of coffee and just getting older. The cap is still the same white color from years ago while the other teeth have faded or darkened. The color of my yellow teeth got to the point that I was reluctant to smile, especially around strangers or people that I worked with. I talked to a couple dentists, who had lots of teeth whitening recommendations and suggested options. Every dentist said that the KOR Whitening System was the Mercedes of whitening compared to all other whitening systems which are more like a KIA. Knowing that KOR was so highly recommended, I wanted a dentist who was an expert in KOR whitening, and who had experience using the KOR system for several years. With some internet searching I found Dr. Taz and Pearl Dental Arts in Levittown. Although it is an hour from my house, I wanted someone who had lots of KOR experience. His work is amazing, and all in just a couple short visits over 2 weeks. The first visit lasted about 30 minutes, with an exam, making impressions for the trays to use at home while I slept, and taking a picture to help recall the color of my teeth. Literally within 2 days, during the second visit, I had trays and gel ready to use at home. Dr. Taz walked me thru the KOR Night treatment process, how to use the trays and whitening gel, and discussed realistic expectations. I wore the trays while I slept for 2 weeks, and the results are unbelievable. The trays were a perfect fit, and I had no sensitivity to the gel, making it easy and comfortable to sleep at night. My wife noticed that even after the first night the teeth started to get whiter. Every day they got whiter and whiter. After 2 weeks, I went for the third office visit, where Dr. Taz took another photo after KOR. The teeth are so white and bright, the same color as the cap that I've had for 20 years. So in 2 weeks Dr. Taz was able to bring my teeth back to the color from many years ago. I should also mention the professional staff at Pearl Dental. Doctor P is so good! Always considerate of how comfortable I am, and very friendly. The office is a nice comfortable atmosphere, I never feel stressed about going in for my check ups. I've been getting cavities more often recently, and I feel like I've been getting very good quality work for the reasonable price I pay. The hygienists are great too, they seem really knowledgeable. And after numberous fittings what i got was a useless set of dentures. Of course, he was powerless & would gladly make another set for 1700.00. I went to Pearl Dental Arts for implants after reading the good reviews on the internet. The office is very clean and modern, i love the music that they play! Dr. Taz is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, and explains the whole process A to Z and answers any questions you have very thouroughly. The procedure was a breeze, i was very comfortable throughout and in zero pain, Dr. Taz and the assistant always made sure i was okay before doing anything. The financial manager was equally nice and made sure that we were on the same page at all times. I was never billed for anything that I wasn't aware of, and the prices were very reasonable. Also want to add that the hygienist that did my cleaning the first day was really thorough and so friendly! I'm sure if you're paying and financing out of pocket this office is fine, but there was no followup or confirmation that paperwork was submitted to my insurance after 6 weeks which it turns out the paperwork didn't get submitted to the insurance. Office blames insurance insurance blames office, so I don't know who is truly at fault. I'm in pain so stop back in and the claim is treated as if it's been denied by the dentist and I feel like they are blaming me for not following through and making sure the paperwork was submitted to insurance. My job is not to micromanage you and confirm you submitted the claim! I'll be seeking out a different dental office since I have to do the 15-20 day waiting period again now anyway. I'd prefer my money to go to a dental group that treats me with respect and is able to follow through with processes to ensure patient care. read more

I discovered Pearl Dental Arts in Levittown, PA while searching the internet for local dentists to consult for dental implant surgery. I was very impressed with the kindness and sincerity with which my needs and concerns were addressed at the time of my consultation, so I decided to come here for my dental care. As my bottom teeth were in very bad shape due to years of gradual gum erosion and bone loss, I needed to get an entire bottom denture and hoped that I might be able to get dental implants to better hold my denture in place. In my particular situation, while I had procrastinated a little too long, I still retained enough dental bone to get two dental implants installed. Now that my procedure had been completed, I am so happy to report that thanks to God, to Dr. P, and to the fine staff at Pearl Dental Arts, I was able to secure the financial arrangements that allowed me to obtain the services that I had needed and hoped for, and I was the beneficiary of wonderful dental care at the hands of knowledgeable, skilled, and experienced Dentist, and an earnest and caring Doctor and gentleman. Stay away , interns learning and getting paid for experiencing on your teeth . A friend of mine recommended this office . So I called and made an appointment . When I got there the nurse took me for X-rays . To my surprise the doctor was a young female . Than I asked what happened to the main doctor ( my friend told me the was and older very experienced man ) . I was told he was working at a different office . Said to myself this doctor must be good to be in charge . I WAS WRONG , she couldn't tell me exactly where the pain coming from , she used a lot of maybe , probably , think so . You can just tell when somebody not certain. She said my wisdom tooth was bad anyway and better take it out and see if the pain is solved . I was like go ahead take it out . She said we don't take them out in this office , I'll call the main doctor if he can squeeze u in at the other office . 20 minutes later the nurse told the other doctor is booked . I waited a week with a lot of toothaches for this appointment . Now I have to restart again . I had to pay the 99 bucks and nothing was resolved . Gave me the X-rays . I managed to make an appointment next day with another dentist , show him x-rays, He said thesemX-rays not clear , they didn't take it from the right angles . With confidence he told me the problem was the wisdom tooth . He said it was a simple extraction . He pulled it right away . I feel better now , no pains . read more

My wife and 2 daughters and I've been a patient here for a very long time. (probably 15 yeas or more). We have always been completely satisfied with the care. Both Offices are very friendly and efficient. The Doctor, staff, and especially the hygienists are very courteous and professionals. The doctor care has always been exceptional. They have started my dental implants and don't want to finish them because I missed some appointments due to my family issues and me being pregnant . They never told me that if you miss appoitments they can discontinue treatment.. The staff is being very rude ignoring me not answering my questions and they won't let me talk to my doctor plus my teeth are crooked and after asking them multiple times on multiple occasions to fix it they never have read more
