"2" year old dog: This dog was promoted to be ye o years old in perfect condition with no health issues. After adoption, we find out that she has lymes disease and she was actually five years old. They were not clear about any of this and I felt extremely scammed out of my money. After calling, they basically said they knew about it and now it was our responsibility to take her to the vet. 2 year-old cat: SUPER cute and cuddly animal who was drawn to me the moment I walked in the door. I loved her to death, but we noticed that she had some health issues. We asked them about it over FIVE times and they changed the topic every single time. Now we have a cat who may have parasites within her. I called back and once again, it's our responsibility to take care of her now. I love animals and I love non-kill animal shelters. But, unless you want a puppy, look elsewhere for adoption. I recently adopted a cat from a humane society in Columbus and it was the best experience ever. DO NOT ADOPT here if you want anything OTHER than a puppy. Save yourself some time and money, because they let animals suffer and expect you to pay for the full price after adoption.

We are so lucky to have found Amanda at Amanda's Gorgeous Grooming. My husband took our three dogs…read morein -- all of them wildly overdue for grooming, heavily matted, and a trio of deeply offended drama queens/kings with trust issues and tangles. There was barking. There were nerves. There were... let's call them "marking-related incidents." One of them even tried to bite her (apparently her new move when she feels vulnerable and over-groomed). But Amanda? Cool as a cucumber. Patient, kind, unbothered, like she grooms chaos daily. Which, clearly, she does. And somehow, despite all that, they came home looking fantastic; neatly shaved, totally refreshed, and about ten pounds lighter in fur and drama. One of them actually pranced around like he'd just returned from a luxury wellness retreat. And the smell? Incredible. No weird residue, no mystery "dog cologne" cloud, no lingering ear funk. (If you've ever had a groomer forget the ears, you know exactly the kind of death-like smell I'm talking about -- Amanda didn't miss a thing.) She loves what she does, and it shows -- in the care, the detail, and the way our dogs actually seemed relieved afterward. We've decided she's stuck with us now. Luckily, my cat was OK to wait one more day. I brought her in and the visit itself I believe was $68. They gave her antibiotics that were only like eight dollars. And then nausea pills that I knew we didn't need, but they insisted on giving us anyways that we're $33. Everyone was very kind. Honestly, for $107, it gave me peace of mind that my baby was gonna be OK. I will be back!

Spent close to $800 on two visits as our dog has some type of infection in his lungs. (who is still sick) Despite those visits and the money spent the vet does not want to take a culture to get the right antibiotics for his infection. Then on top of all that they wrote an invalid prescription and we couldn't get the medication for our dog. They refused to fax the fixed prescription to the CVS, and insisted we go back to the vets office and pick up the new prescription then drive back to CVS to pick up the medication.

The dog lost most of his coat and rough due to "shaping", the feathers on his front legs were cut off completely and the scissor work was gapped and not blended well. When I called to discuss the issue, she did offer for me to bring him in a second time to "fix it", but I was not willing to risk it based on my first experience.
