I stopped into Pearl St. while looking for something different than the usual mall stores, and I'm so glad I did. The shop has a great mix of designer, vintage, and everyday pieces, and everything feels thoughtfully curated instead of overcrowded. The staff was welcoming without being pushy, and I appreciated that they were happy to answer questions and offer suggestions. The prices were fair for the quality, and I ended up finding a few unique pieces that I've already gotten compliments on. The workers here are really friendly, and they love to absolutely help out in finding what best matches your style, one of the employees Elyse is incredible at being able to make you as comfortable as possible when looking for something that you might want to wear if its out of your usual style, my girlfriend was having trouble finding stuff out of her comfort zone but elyse showed so much compassion and support and offered to help out, it was a really great expeirience at this store, i love coming here just to vibe read more

So many awesome authentic retro PUNK FASHIONS / clothing items! Great staff member. I loved the orange retro 70's. Clothes! They had sections just for color which is soooo handy if you only prefer one color. Pink rack had some rad items from the 80's and pink plaid and pink tweed too! Love the decor, painted walls and doors, Barbie fashions hang from the ceiling, even an authentic modern easy wear kimono. This is a special place! Love the punk style! I was in the area and heard so many good things about Pearl Street Consignment. I just had to make a detour and check it out. The minute I walked in I knew this was no ordinary consignment shop. From the interesting decor, like 60 & 70's Barbies hanging from the ceiling with their clothing to bright pink and girly walls. It has an eclectic feel to this store with many one of a kind original items.This place gets better clothing and shoes and purses because of its location. Everything is clearly marked. The items change week to week. My girlfriend found so many things to purchase. The staff is extremely nice. It's a great place to find that one of a kind item. There's not a lot of parking, but they do have a small lot out front. I would definitely recommend this place, you never know what your going to find. read more

BEWARE: BEDBUGS I recently bought a few items here, but when I got home I was shocked to discover bedbugs on 1 of the items. Luckily I avoided infesting my home, but I worry that others will not be so lucky. When I contacted the store to tell them they were extremely rude and dismissive. I have no idea if they ever took any action to get rid of their infestation, but based on their response I wouldn't count on it. read more

What a vintage fun, funky vibe!! The owner is super cool & sweet. She has great taste in the finds she selects and I always look forward to stopping in there to shop! The music selections are always great. The clothing is absolutely amazing. I've found a few of my favorite pieces here, and even when I don't find anything I personally like, I still admire everything. Buyers & Sellers, please read: This review is based on my experience as a seller :( I'm convinced they just take your clothes and profit off of them without ever actually giving the owner of the clothes their profit. I held off 2 months on writing this review hoping to be wrong, but after bringing my clothes they never contacted me back or responded to any emails requesting an itemized list of what items they are selling. I noticed some nice reviews so I gave it a try, browsed the store and also brought in maybe 15-20 nice pieces of my clothing (that I selected based on the store aesthetic and wants) to sell. I was really in need of money as i recently had a sudden need for surgery, had to stop working and became unable to do much, so I took to selling clothes and things to try to support myself in the meantime. I read online that they essentially just want you to give them clothes and leave and let them do whatever they want with them, but you can request an itemized list of what they decide to sell by emailing them. I wanted to make sure that they were actually going to pay attention to what items were mine so I know theyre not just keeping the profits of my clothing, but I completely doubt that they do pay attention now, as they won't contact me back in anyway and I haven't received a single penny when there were multiple people who wanted to buy some of my items even the day of in the store. Bummer. I wanted to like it here but I don't appreciate predatory business or being scammed. Happy to update this review if anything ever changes, but for now, Sellers- you're better off going anywhere else, or if you don't care about making any money than donate your clothes to goodwill or somewhere that actually needs donations. My wife and I were impressed by the care the owner took to help us find items that would work for us, because we're way not that cool and not that young. And she succeeded brilliantly - my wife bought a cute backpack that is now her favorite, and I got a brown sweater and matching suede jacket that are both stylish and comfortable. Love this place so much !!! The girl who owns the shop is so sweet. I don't know her but she reminds me of my young self, and I'm so proud that she has opened this shop. This kind of unique, ultra creative, edginess is exactly what Red Bank needs (Red Bank's scene needs A LOT of help). The store is certainly unique and the aesthetics are very cool. However, the employees were off putting. The store relies on the employees playing music off their phone in which one employee proceeded to play a song repeating the lyrics "teen p**sy." Considering there were 3 teens in the store and the employees were obviously adults, it was a very uncomfortable experience. The employees were also very awkward and it was uncomfortable. Love this place - it is an original. I usually go to Brooklyn or Manhattan for Consignment Shopping - but this is the real deal here in Red Bank. Every time I go there is something new and original for me. Prices are great - I have found some real good deals.
