They had kept it going about 5-8 years longer than it should have run. They told my dad it probably had 1 more 'run'. Rather than wait for it just to quit on my parents, I replaced it. Not only did they put the best HVAC in their home, they reinforced what was holding it in the attic. They didn't have to go that extra mile for myself or my parents, but the tech wanted to make sure it stayed put for an extra 20 years in place of the old. HVACs are expensive, relatively speaking. No one wants to just empty their bank or pockets for a brand new HVAC, but having dependable cooling in the south is an absolute must. I am very unhappy with this and will be reporting this to the BBB. I paid $7200 to them 3 years ago to have a new AC unit installed and for all new ductwork. This should NOT be going on. Well, son shows up first thing this morning and was SOOOOO professional, personable, kind and polite. He asked me to describe what was going on and fixed the issue in less than 30 minutes. He then went above and beyond in checking my outdoor HVAC and coolant pressures. The new capacitor he placed in the cooling part of my furnace had my AC blowing ice cold immediately after installing. After going so long without AC, Aire Serv is my new hero! I'm extremely happy with their service and if you want immediate service, call them up. Kindest, most professional folks you will ever meet. The gentlemen who came to my house to look over the unit, inside and outside, were wonderful. They spent the time to answer my questions and point out to me the broken parts. Looking at some of the reviews, I see that I am having the exact same problems as previous suckas..I mean customers. Promises of returning to do tasks promised, but never returned, appointments not being kept, calls and text messages being unanswered or blocked. Initially when my problem occurred, a technician came out and had the unmitigated gall to tell me that if my thermostat cooled below 70, that I was lucky. What?!!! My system wasn't blowing out cold air and overall my house was hot and uncomfortable. I wasn't satisfied with that answer knowing the performance of the system prior and that something was definitely wrong. He then said that he would come back the next day with the owner and it's been the run around ever since. This company came referred, but I should have used the company I've been using prior, but they got back to me too late in this Georgia heat. I will not let heat and haste let me make this mistake again, especially when it comes to thousands of dollars of investments for anything that I own, and using a company with integrity.
