The community center faced a baseball field. The building itself looks professional with a hint of rustic. A large reception hall is available for rental. Rates vary based on day of the week, and if the party renting lives within the township/ Three Rivers area. Grounds are well maintained. Behind the building is a small playground. This is a great added bonus if throwing a party where children are to be in attendance. From the balcony the playground is visible. Many trees have been planted so that the playground is not the main focus of the view. Various public events are held here throughout the year. In August, two outdoor concerts are held. When I think of Colerain I think of the hustle and bustle of Colerain Ave. This area is much more peaceful. Before COVID, the community center was a popular spot for weddings. The hall has a neutral look making it easily dressed up on down depending on the event. Due to restrictions, rental of the reception hall has been halted until further notice. Once services open again know that there is plenty of parking. There are several community outreach programs throughout the year. Due to COVID, those programs have greatly changed. There are also programs for seniors. Fun fact. The sign for the community center that is located off of the street was donated by the Northgate Mall.

However, ever since I started following Art Equals on social media, I discovered that there are events open to public inside the Hellman Creative Center. It's not just Artist Studios, as the sign would suggest. And, as it turns out, I am a big fan! Open, inviting, and clean, the inside of this historic building has been beautifully renovated. There is a large meeting/conference room just off the lobby. Beyond that, there are artists' studios and a small kitchenette. I attended a Zine Lab with Art Equals and had a fantastic time learning about Zines and creating one of my one. Stop by and take part in this excellent addition to the art scene in Covington.

This building was originally a sawmill and has been beautifully redesigned as a community space, spot for artists, and people who do good in the community (refugee settlement, help with taxes, cross-cultural training, learning how to respond to conflict, etc.). My favorite space, besides the community rooms, is Empower Tools. This is a free service for those with a Kenton County library card. An individual can rent tools for their art, lawn, home repair, moving supplies, or pruning needs. You have up to 3 tools for a week, without the need to maintain them. Perfect for someone like me who struggles with all the oils and fine tuning of home equipment!

It was spacious, set up well so that guests could feel connection, and being close to the outdoor area allowed for a gorgeous view. The staff were friendly and helpful and the reservation process was easy and detailed. The only tricky part was the parking overflow was needed, however we were warned prior about the building having several events that day. The overflow parking actually lead directly to the lower atrium though, so the crowded lot in the front worked out for the guests to see the beautiful water view on their way in to the lower atrium. All and all, it was another wonderful event and we plan to book future events there. We appreciate having this gorgeous setting so close to home!

The pool was heated to a comfortably warm temperature. They have both men's, women's, and family locker rooms. The family locker room was great because they had individual rooms that you could go in and fully close the door. My toddler loved the little slide, the water feature, and the lazy river. This was a fantastic activity on a cold day!

I've been here a dozen times over the years and each time has been like trolling for gold. I almost always find something I want but hardly the things I need. Today was not one of those days however. I went to find office chairs with wheels and I found the cache that knocked my socks off! Don't bother even showing up to this place if you're not there on behalf of a not-for-profit because they will not allow you to shop. They are planning to set up some days where normal people and individuals can come to shop but they said that this is probably months from now. They have everything from cream Brûlée torches to wine decanters. ....And why exactly would a nonprofit need a wine decanter or cream Bruleé torch?:) i'm really looking forward to them opening it up for individuals to shop. Tiffany Wilson is the worse director ever she shouldn't even be in her position as she does not care if you have children or not or the fact that I contiually asked to speak with her about having to go to court against my abuser. I was there over three weeks and she was at the shelter one time. House of Peace in Clermont County is where I was at. I was called white privileged and a bad mom on top of other things by my roommate who was black and was told to leave the program because I used hate speech that I never said at all. So it's funny how when you get on their website they stay they eliminate rasicm And empower women because neither one of those things are true

I've been going to the gym here for a while now since I wrote my last review…read more I really enjoy working out here. The gym is small, without being too small. They always have enough machines, weights, and space. However, I usually come during the non-peak hours due to my work schedule and inability to wake up earlier than I have to in the morning. There are plenty of ellipticals, treadmills, and bikes in the cardio section and every weight machine and free weights that you could want to use. The pool is the largest pool of all the gyms downtown, with three lanes, there is always one open when I'm there. A plus is the jacuzzi and dry sauna. The staff is always friendly and with your membership you can take any of the classes they offer. I went to my first spinning class last week and it kicked my butt! Memberships are pretty affordable depending on how you pay and when you come. You'll pay as much as you do going to any of those big chain gyms, have a more personal experience, and know that you are also supporting a good organization.
