Both dogs are female, and as girls occasionally do they'll have a fight a couple of times a year for dominance. For this reason, we've always made sure the kennel places them in separate "runs". We usually board at a different kennel, but chose this one since they were the only one locally with availability for the weekend. When my wife dropped them off on Wednesday night, the girl who took them in WAS TOLD 3 TIMES to make sure they were separated. This did not happen. When I picked the dogs up on Saturday at 4:30 p.m., the smaller dog had a 1 inch long, 1/2 inch deep bleeding laceration below her left eye. The person who helped bring the dogs to the car did not mention this injury, and I only noticed it while in the car on the way home. I immediately took her to Animal Clinic East on Gunbarrel Road, who determined she needed stitches. Animal Clinic East is my usual boarding facility, and they were shocked that this kennel did not contact me about the injury. Moreover, Animal Clinic East called me 2 weeks ago because one of my dogs being boarded there fluffed her dog bed too much while trying to get comfortable and the stuffing came out. I found that call to be a bit of overkill, but to not be contacted by this particular kennel for an injury of this magnitude is outrageous. I intend to present them with the bill that I will receive from Animal Clinic East. There may be additional actions taken regarding their licensing as well. I'd NEVER recommend their "services" to anyone who loves their pet... Just got her back home. A $778.00 bill from the vet. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR PET!!!! It's not about the money, it's about being a good caretaker. I will do everything I can to put this place out of business even if it bankrupts me... I was early, and they did go ahead and put me in a room with my pet. Problem is it was a 1/2 hour past my appointment time, and I finally left the room and my pet to confirm my appt. I told them I'd wait another 15 mins (would have been 45 mins past my appt time). So, the front desk clerk (technician?) apparently went to the only doctor working that day, and the doctor said it's going to be more than 45 mins (past my appt time) -- maybe longer before I would get seen. Mind you, I arrived early and all my paperwork was complete. I told the tech that I'd go ahead and leave. They said, "Well, yes, we can make you another appointment." I said, "No, I won't be coming back here." I spent all that time doing the paperwork and packing my pet up to go to the appointment, and that's it. How would you feel if this happened to you? OK, I get it, you may have only one doctor there that day; however, you are all about texting/phoning the client, so, why didn't you give me text/call letting me know the situation (they had no shortage of people up front), and I could have rescheduled without having to go to the appointment, to only sit there all that time. My pet was in the carrier the whole time, and was more concerned about it than my time. There was no engagement with the techs up front. I had to do all the engaging and asking questions. Noone ever came to check up on me or anything until I started engaging with them (being proactive) 30 minutes into my wait. I will hopefully find a good, engaging, economical veterinarian for my pet, in the Chattanooga area. I will use Yelp to help me find the best that my pet deserves. I'm being generous giving two stars on this one.

When I let them know the dog ran away they informed me I would still need to pay over $1000 for services they never rendered because I signed a contract. I have now been stuck paying a $70 fee to them every month for months. They will not stop charging me or refund my money.

Review of Dr. Ramirez…read more I recently brought my very sick cat to see Dr. Ramirez, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Despite how ill he was, she declined to provide any medication and instead focused on recommending additional products. She also told me that our second cat would likely become sick as well, which added even more stress. Over the next couple of days, my cat's condition worsened, so I took him to another veterinarian. They immediately diagnosed the issue and prescribed antibiotics, which he clearly needed. A couple of days later, our second cat also became sick and required antibiotics from the same vet. This second veterinarian even called twice to check on both of them--something I really appreciated. In comparison, I never received any follow-up from Dr. Ramirez. Based on my experience, I did not feel that my pets received the care or attention they needed. I feel i wasted $160.00 on someone who leaned on the wall to say you are not going to like what i am going to say, before she ever touched my cat. She cares more about the money!
