The tees need some work as quit a few are chopped up. It's been in the 90's with high humidity. It's unusual to not see one of these: water containers throughout the golf course, an ice bucket in the golf cart, or a cart person selling drinks. Please remember to bring plenty of water with you so you don't overheat. We will definitely return as we do enjoy this course and its location.

A few water holes and the trees make it enough of a challenge to have a great outing. Only thing missing is cart service and there really should be some water available out in the course. I hadn't planned on water not being available, so ran out around the 13th hole and it was warm and muggy. And I will say the pace of play got EXTREMELY slow on the back nine. We were waiting in the twosome in front of us who were waiting for the twosome in front of them to clear the greens and then proceed to hit it halfway to the green. That and the multiple balls being played made the pace unbearable by the last 4 holes. This of course meant we saw the twosome behind us and they also lacked in golf etiquette. Really need a ranger to speak with folks like that. I will definitely be back. But it's not perfect for sure. Hoping we don't have the same experience next time.

And I'm not saying it snobbishly but you do get the occasional group w poor etiquette and lack of respect for the game. In turn this causes some left over ball marks n poor divots which is too be expected. None the less Glynns does a magnificent job every year and I am never upset when I play there.

No course maintenance folks work on weekends so the rough gets long and fairways are not as tight as they should be. The course does not drain well so after a rain be prepared for ponds in the bunkers and wet low lying rough areas. At about holes 5 through 8 you can hear the bells at the cemetery. On weekends the clubhouse does not serve food or drink (the pro- shop has bars and candy and drinks) but the at the turn at hole 9 they serve beer, drinks and chips etc.

They removed the roller coaster, the VR station, and replaced the go-karts with pedal karts etc. At that point, the value just isn't the same. If you're downsizing attractions, the pricing should reflect that. Right now it feels like you're paying the same amount for a much smaller experience, especially when most of what's left is the arcade. For the current price point, I'd rather make the trip to Fun Station.

My guests and I were the ones that had to make all the adjustments (move 6 tables to another room, runout and get enough cupcakes) while kids ran around) . And instead of trying to help make up for the incompetence of the staff and their mistakes , they gave excuses and tried to fight me about what I had had requested.
