The tees need some work as quit a few are chopped up. It's been in the 90's with high humidity. It's unusual to not see one of these: water containers throughout the golf course, an ice bucket in the golf cart, or a cart person selling drinks. Please remember to bring plenty of water with you so you don't overheat. We will definitely return as we do enjoy this course and its location.

A few water holes and the trees make it enough of a challenge to have a great outing. Only thing missing is cart service and there really should be some water available out in the course. I hadn't planned on water not being available, so ran out around the 13th hole and it was warm and muggy. And I will say the pace of play got EXTREMELY slow on the back nine. We were waiting in the twosome in front of us who were waiting for the twosome in front of them to clear the greens and then proceed to hit it halfway to the green. That and the multiple balls being played made the pace unbearable by the last 4 holes. This of course meant we saw the twosome behind us and they also lacked in golf etiquette. Really need a ranger to speak with folks like that. I will definitely be back. But it's not perfect for sure. Hoping we don't have the same experience next time.

The toddler section was very nice and safe. The canopy on a portion of it to shield from the sun. The slides seemed appropriate as far as safety. I liked the squishy type ground for this play area. Its a welcomed change from rocks or wood chips. The fencing around the playground is also nice. And more then one park bench inside the fence was appreciated.

My guests and I were the ones that had to make all the adjustments (move 6 tables to another room, runout and get enough cupcakes) while kids ran around) . And instead of trying to help make up for the incompetence of the staff and their mistakes , they gave excuses and tried to fight me about what I had had requested. And then I was charged full price though me and my guests did most of the work. NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT HAVE YOUR PARTY HERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

We loved the pond for swimming and open spaces to play fetch, but there is also a lot of agility equipment available. The other visitors were very nice, and my dogs (mostly) had fun meeting the other (mostly) friendly dogs. The park is private, and while it looks as though annual memberships are available, day passes are $3 for the first dog and $1 for each additional dog. Definitely worth the money. But of course it's fairly easy to be insulted at Davenport guns, just speak with the owner. She's vulgar, rude, condescending and just plain unprofessional. She has two little dogs that run around and bark and nip at everybody's heels. She just shoo's them away and it happens with the next person that walks in. It kind of smells like dog droppings in certain areas where you can tell they didn't clean it up very well. The indoor range ventilation system is hot garbage. If just a couple people are using the range at the same time it gets so smoky and full of lead dust that it's a real health hazard. The lighting on the range is borderline dangerous. They may as well just have a couple light bulbs dangling from a string. Hopefully this place is gone soon and something much better will take its place.
