Great Customer Service! Needed to pick my kids up from the Airport on my delivery day, Phoned the Pedersen's; the young lady on the phone was able to send a message to the driver and Escobar phoned and was able to drop our delivery off before I needed to leave. Pedersen's sent email reminders of my rental order and when Seattle had snow after the Holidays I phoned to make sure they were open and they gave me the option of coming in next week to be safe! What a breeze it is to work with these folks. They're super friendly, they're conveniently located, and better yet - they have everything. No joke! I called Pedersen's looking for some random odds and ends for a party I was hosting. They had everything I needed. When I popped down to their warehouse I noticed a really large showroom. Not only do they have equipment for the behind-the-scenes stuff; like ovens for rent, dishwashers, fridges, etc. They also have plates, tables, napkins, cutlerly, you name it! If you had to you could throw and entire party from scratch here. I was really impressed! I also love the feature they have on their website where you can place an order and NOT submit it, but have someone call you to speak about the order just in case you have questions before using a credit card and finalizing the details. What a handy feature! They also have a pick up area so you don't even need to get out of your car. They have people loading and unloading all the time so you can just drive up and hang out while they do all of the work. So great! read more

Really positive experience. I last minute ordered items for Labor Day weekend. They were unable to do a Saturday drop off because they were all booked up, but they were willing to drop off the items to me on Friday and give me the extra day free of charge. Pedersen's absolutely SAVED my wedding. Less than 48 hours before our wedding the company we had hired to provide rentals for our reception completely canceled on us with no explanation (see my review of the terrible company Tents & Events for further info). Our wedding was on St. Patrick's Day and I had carefully selected an exact shade of Kelly green for my linens, which would basically set the look and feel of my reception. But since it was only two days before the holiday, all the local rental companies we called said we were out of luck unless we wanted to use forest green... ew! I was totally devastated and ready to head to a fabric store and start making table cloths, even though dozens of my friends and relatives had just arrived in town. It was at that point my wedding coordinator called Pedersen's, who said they would be able to get 10 Kelly green overlays, which would at least cover half of my tables if I alternated them with white. They were amazingly understanding about our situation and even gave us a 20% discount so that their price would more closely reflect the quote of the vendor who had left us high and dry. When I arrived at our reception I was absolutely stunned. Somehow Pedersen's had been able to get all the Kelly green table cloths, overlays, and napkins that I had originally planned on, and everything looked absolutely how I dreamed it would. The color was perfect and the linens were very high quality. They also provided glass barware and cake plates which worked perfectly. We used Pedersen's for our wedding chair rentals and a couple bistro tables for the cocktail hour. The prices were absolutely on par with other rental places in the area but their reputation far exceeded anyone else's. Pedersen's really let me down today. I had placed a quote for some rentals and I received an email confirming the price and a note that a salesperson will get back to me within 24 hours to confirm the order. After 48 hours I called them and they said they cut off all orders the day before and no new orders could be placed for the near future. The woman I spoke with seemed totally disorganized, and couldn't explain why my order was lost or offer any potential workarounds. I understand being slammed, but this left me in a bit of a lurch. I fully expected to be brutally rebuffed, but they absolutely had what I needed at a reasonable price. They worked with me over the phone and emailed me the quote. Blown away. I went online to do a very small dish and flatware rental for Thanksgiving. I was first impressed that I was able to get what I wanted only 2 days prior to the holiday. Then when I called to check on the order, the person on the phone could not have been more friendly and helpful. I had my choice of whether to pick up my items Tuesday or Wednesday, and she thankfully gave me the tip that Tuesday would be better since the Costco across the street would be crazy on Wednesday - saving me time and hassle. When I arrived, the warehouse employees were responsive, friendly and helpful. When I saw my order, I decided I wanted to change the size of the smaller plates. They showed me into the showroom where I was connected wtih the lady I had talked with by phone. She changed the size of my plates AND upgraded the quality of the dishes I had ordered at no additional charge Renting dishes and flatware requires simply scraping off and putting back into their bins... no extra dishes to wash is really awesome when you are exhausted from hosting. When I returned to drop off, the warehouse staff came out to the car to retrieve my 2 small bins, with smiles and cheer. If I EVER need to rent anything again, it will be with Pedersen's. I rented chairs from Pedersen's for my wedding over the summer. They were great! The chairs were in good condition, the delivery was on time and they did a great job of setting up the chairs exactly as I had asked when I ordered them. The people I dealt with on the phone were always friendly and professional. Though, I wasn't there during the set up, my friend that was there said they were super nice. Their prices are comparable with other rental companies (I learned that renting chairs is surprisingly EXPENSIVE!) so I would definitely use them again if needed. read more

If you are planning an event- wedding, dinner party, catered anything, private brunches, baby shower lunches, etc. Whatever your cause for a gathering may be, Pedersen's is the place to get everything from flatware to bun cabs and food chaffers. They have a great selection of flatware, plates, bowls and serving items- silver included, as well as linens, candles, floral decor, chairs and tents. They will coordinate with you if you need help decided, just go to their office on 4th Ave. South, right across the street from Costco next to the Arctic Ice Cream building (mmmm, Ice Cream...). The office crew is great, and the staff goes out of their way to help you. I have both used and recommended their service multiple times for events and have never had any discrepancies, such as missing or wrong items, or a dirty dish or stained linen. I had just called and inquired about rentals as I have never rented anything from this company before and I was asking if there were any rental fees other than the price of the rental items and how delivery or pick up works. The lady on the phone had a bad attitude from the start. I asked if I could come pick up and she gave a long pause and said, you can if you want to in a horrible attitude. Then I asked as an example, if I was renting a plate that was $9, are there any additional fees other than taxes. She had a long pause again and then said 'just tax' and I explained to her I have never rented from a rental company before that's why i'm asking these questions.
