This by far is the worse experience of my life ! My daughter had an appointment on June 3rd, 2026 for a sports physical and EKG. I was told by numerous people in the office that the results would be available in 24hours.24hours came and no results, 48 hours came no results, 72 hours came no results. The issue is the staff and the doctors are unorganized. They have still not provided me with anything. She is consistently amazing and provides a high level of care for our young one.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't say the same for some of the other providers but her attention to detail and thoroughness always leaves me feeling at ease as a parent. If you go to this location, ask for her- every time. The service itself is okay. My two kids go to this office. The biggest issue, as several others have mentioned, is the ridiculous 1.5 hour wait times to see the pediatrician when you are scheduled for an appointment. The Hollywood office is always packed, and I surmise that the exceedingly slow service times are attributed to the admins overbooking/or not having enough doctors on a schedule to see patients timely. On the phone with the billing now stating both my children cannot be seen due to a $50 balance from almost 4 years ago for my daughter's ear piercing. I will be reporting this to the state, insurance & BBB & changing providers immediately. Both my children have been seen here since they were born but lately, have realized they are trying to extort parents for duplicate payments as I have seen several people say has also happened to them here & elsewhere. Stay away from this shady unethical establishment. In order to have my baby's ears pierced, her primary care provider stated we had to go to the front desk to pay & give her the receipt, so without a doubt this will not be paid twice. For over 20 years, my 3 children were well cared for at this office and we loved our doctor who was very caring and respected our beliefs... UNTIL 2019, this corporation ended ALL care for certain kids...because I did not want my kids to get shots. They have the right to refuse care, but the reason is greed and the corp doesn't really care about patients, but the bottom line. They are grossly incentivised to have 80-100% of their patients fully complied with the CDC schedule, so they just got rid of those who have certain beliefs. No loss for us since my kids are always healthy and we needed them for sport check-ups only, so we go to a chiropracter for that now. read more

The joy I have for my grand daughter (did I tell you, shes's my 1st?-)is a feeling thats mo' betta than the love for my sons. Watching her grow and change these 3 months has been such an experience. With that said, when a concern arise, we all want good quality care and assurance our concerns are addressed with love and care. My son noticed about a month ago,a very small but noticeable lump at the top of her head. Concerning enough to get it checked out. They decided to do so while having her ears pierced. Dr. Colon and staff took a look at it, and referred us to go off site for further testing. But assured us that her head/skull is still developing and we shouldn't be too worried at this point. We are waiting for the results of another facility that conducted further testing of her skull my son took her to on Saturday, Feb 24, 2019. Will update later. We also had her ears pierced, another Dr came in marked ears with a sharpie, and we had the hard task of keeping her still long enough for him to do the job. She cried a little after the first pinch and a little while for the 2nd piercing. But afterwards she was even prettier with her diamond bling bling earrings. She didn't run a fever later that day or night. Overall experience at this office, we love coming here with Kia. Although, I think Kia would beg the differ. My son has a terrible cough we may have to return and spend more money because I don't believe she gave us the attention my son deserves. If you want your child to feel like a number then go ahead and make an appointment. Between the billing practices and the inefficiencies with communication I've had enough. I hate writing a negative review but this is my truth. There is no direct line for any of the offices (I've been told and witnessed others being told) so you make appointments through the portal or through a random call center in Asia. If you need assistance you speak with medical assistants who convey the message to the physicians or ARNP's. In the state of Florida medical assistants are not licensed but are the ones to administer injections and potentially invasive procedures like catheterizations at this pediatric mill. They billed our insurance for a cath that was not performed and would not have been performed as the MA was obviously nervous. In my opinion, A provider, licensed or registered nurse should be performing invasive procedures including vaccinations for verification and accountability purposes. We went home and got a urine sample and brought it back to the lab. My child will not be a number nor will they be a practice mannequin. Our physician has left and so shall we. I am not leaving this for the doctor itself. Only Jenni she wouldn't tell me her last name, but it looked like Gonzlaz she was working April 2,2023. I have never experienced someone so rude and condescending while my daughter had a 103.7 temperature she left her outside in the heat. The call center which is outsourced in Japan made an error and even spoke to Jenni. She still refused my appointment. Someone let her know she is dealing with sick children to get off her high horse. I sent my mother in because I called back the manager Yuki at the call center. Appears with the language barrier everything got misconstrued. Instead of Jenni being helpful she decided to stand her ground as if she owned the establishment. How anyhow could hire and employ a person with suck lack of people skills is mind blowing. We love our pediatrician but unfortunately the office bills for services that were never requested or that we were informed of, and when asking to them to review the charges they arbitrarily increase them without explanation. I never had wait for so long to an appointment. Every time I bring my kids we have to wait between 1 hour and a 1/2 to 2h. Today the waiting area was pretty empty (4 parents) and I thought it'd be different. But still we've been waiting for over an hour. After they put you in the room you have to wait for another 20-40 min and if your kids need shots you have to wait longer after the doctor examines your child. Not to mention the doctor remains in the room for no more than 6-10 min, which makes you think: why do you have to wait for so long if the doctor take such a short time with the patient? If you have to use it because your insurance won't allow you to go to a better clinic, make sure you see an older doctor, cause the young ones, have no idea about what they are doing, don't even look at the child and are prompt to prescribe antibiotics and steroids. read more

Jenni who works on the weekends should not be employed by an establishment with children. Her lack on knowledge and people skills is a real concern. Pediatric associates instead of responding to all your negative comments on yelp should rather take action with the people you employ and put your focus there. If you have someoe working in customer service they should not lack basic customer service skills and deny someone from speaking with thei nurse or doctor. Drs. Jessica Joseph and Michelle Smith are AMAZING. The billing department....abysmal! They erroneously claim you on small balances and nickel and dime patients into making duplicate payments. They prevent sick children from obtaining the care they need in a timely stress free environment. The billing department does not respond to emails or answer their phones. I took my 4 children for a well child visit this week--found the desk staff to be kind and helpful. Our appointments took 2.5 hours each. 1 hr each time--to even be seen by the doctor. When i addressed this the doctor said it was because I came at the busiest time of the year, which means they simply overbooked their overworked staff. The wait was the least of my concerns. This organization is the most incredibly uninformed and ignorant I've ever encountered with my children's care. Not only is it an entirely overwhelming sensory experience, bright, loud and long...the staff have not been trained in how to communicate with children in a trauma informed and consent based way. They did not explain what was occurring along the way, spoke over their heads to address me (adultism) and like my son said, "it felt like they don't care about kids, they're just doing their jobs." Dr Michelle Smith, we had as a primary doctor--who once again did not speak to my children (12, 11, 11, and 8) regarding their health--informed me my daughter was "overweight." (Which fat is *morally* neutral, does not negate value) based on her BMI. BMI is an outdated, fatphobic, racist and useless measurement. In which she stated that she will give them refusal option one time but based on my response to her using "medical terms" and it "upsetting me" that maybe we aren't the right practice for you as we use medical terms and "not all sizes of bodies are healthy". I told her that medical terms aside, how you deliver messages to little girls about their bodies matters as this society tells femme presenting bodies how they are or are not supposed to look every day and there are many contributing factors to a size of one's body. Also my children are not going to ever want a medical professional to look at their middle parts when they do not feel safe with them and that's her responsibility. This location is one of the largest ones. It follows suit with the excellence in medical attention and expertise that the practice is now known for--for some of us whose children have been patients for years know it wasn't always this way. Their specialists are the finest, and the customer service is professional and caring. On this visit, I need to give a loud shout out for Souka. She is the phlebotomist who drew blood from my little girl. Not only did she find the vein at first try (uncommon for us), but she was caring and fun in her interaction with both my daughter and me. We are scheduled to follow up soon, and we can do so without one more care in the world. When you deal with chronic illnesses, it makes a real difference to have a great team supporting you, and this is the case here! read more

They get 2 stars because the staff at check in and the Dr. were great. However, the rest was ridiculous. I took my nephew for a preop clearance. Our appt was for 1105, we got called back at 12:00, and then waited 40 more minutes for the Dr. Now, the MA who took his vitals etc, was unable to give me an estimated time of wait for the Dr. She also did not take his temp, which i didn't realize until she left. It's a vital. It's important. And! I said he had been running a fever since last night. When I mentioned it to the Dr, the Dr said, " yes the MA wrote 98.3 for his temp." I asked for a recheck and turns out his temp was 100. Not only did she not take the vital, I believe she lied about it to the Dr. Go at your own risk, double check everything the MA writes down, and bring food for your next meal, because it will be a wait. Oh and the patient rooms were so warm, i had to take his clothes off because he was sweating. read more

Avoid this establishment at all costs! There is a complete lack of care for the patients and parental concerns. First off, the office is completely mismanaged each time I have had an hour plus wait for both well visits and sick visits (one of the nurses said this was typical). Secondly, the office does not give you notice of changes. For instance, after waiting an 1.5 hours for a doctor instead the nurse practitioner walked in without being notified of any changes. When I asked where the doctor was I was told "oh he called out today." Thirdly, when my son had a fever they came in with A syringe of Tylenol which I though was so strange (if I wanted to give him Tylenol I would give it to him myself). Lastly, the doctors (if your lucky enough to get one) don't take parental concerns seriously and I was told to not speak about it until a certain age (after this I went to another practice and the doctor completely agreed with me and my assessment). The call center is in Japan and apparently they do not understand English as well as they should. I show up with my sick child with a temperature of 103.7 the office manager Jenni who is rude and condescending tells me i am LIAR with no appointment. I am trying to understand the fact that so9meone has the audacity to speak like that. They call center calls this location to tell Jenni who anserwed the phone they made an error. Who is the liar now ( rhetorical). You need to train your staff properly. Who speaks like this! This is an embarrassment to the company that you employee staff members that have 0 or negative people skills. Speak with your staff member Jenni about her people skills maybe you should require her to attend a training or a professional development. Her demeanor is unacceptable and RUDE. Very disappointed with this office, dr Ayuso it's the best but I'm not able to schedule an appointment with her unless i do it with 2 months in advance. Call yesterday because my 6 month baby it's being having fever, cough and vomiting, they give an appointment for today at 1:35 , they just call me at 11:55 am to cancel the appointment because the doctor called out, and wanted me to reschedule for tomorrow, so should i tell my baby to stop being sick and wait till tomorrow? Most of the doctors here are condescending and don't really seem to to really care. The last straw was this past week when I took my son in and Dr. Almanzar ( by far the worst I've met) didn't seem too concerned for my sons well being, she was dismissive, rude, and didn't really seem to care about my questions. When we first had our baby, finding the right doctor was really important. We chose one and love her, but like all doctor`s offices the hours are M-F 9-5. Unfortunately fevers, pink eye, colds and bumps on the head don't stick to these strict guidelines. Also, I don't like to use the ER as a clinic, so Pediatric Associates was the perfect solution. We called and made an appointment for their after hours, and when we got there we were taken right away. Making the appointment was a bit different than for a regular office because they have inestimable call center for all their locations. When the operator answers the call you specify the location you want to make the appointment at. Then the operator will tell you all the times they have available. The office in Hollywood is huge. There is seating for sick children and a separate section for healthy kids which I think is a great idea. The secretaries are really nice and efficient, they really know what they are doing and are knowledgeable about insurance coverage. I was impressed with the staff. We didn't care for the first doctor that we saw there, but age beauty of a very large practice is that there are other doctors to choose from. At first they asked if I preferred a male or female doctor. The second f time we got a New doctor and really liked her. read more
