I don't know if my profile says that I need Spanish speaker or what like I don't speak English, but I get this Cuban nurse that flirt with my husband all the fucking time and she asked me where did I found him because she wants one just like him it's been the third time since I've been in this office and I get the same nurse and the same unprofessional statements becoming out of her mouth I'm tired of this unprofessional behavior they need to check all their nurses, especially the Cuban one I can barely speak any English!! read more

My daughter is a patient at this office the doctors are nice so far I only been going there a few months came recommended by my very own dentist she have nothing but good things to say about the doctors,,, last visit was my last one I don't think I'll be bringing back my 10 month old baby here anymore and please be aware,,,you won't see the doctors all the time there's nurses that will examine the kids so the visit before this last one I notice how this (nurse) was very rude and trying to give me classes on how to be a mother in front of my husband just cause my baby was crying and I was consoling her...I mean completely out of place,!! But I let it go .. Last visit the same nurse walked in the room with the same or worse bad attitude her questions were rude then she proceeded to examine my sick baby that was cranky with fever and a bad cold this person told me to hold my baby's arms so she could see her ears I did hold her arms then this B**** put all her weight onto my baby's delicate scalp using her forearm to press my baby's head down I could see the pressure she was putting on her so I put my hand under her fist to feel the pressure that she was putting on her HEAD....unacceptable I almost had a heart attack when realizing what she was doing....she should be fired immediately,,,,, I'll post her name here as soon as I get it ,,,, if my baby ever have any brain complication related to this .. we will be in court!!! After I kick her out of the room I waited for the doctor maybe 25 minutes he was very polite treated my daughter very gentle he checked her ears with no issues just using his fingers to move my baby's head a professional he knows what he was doing not like that lady.... She never apologized actually NOBODY Apologized for this lady's behavior....there's a few other things I'll like to add but I think I have enough of her I just literally wish someone way bigger and fatter than her to press on her head down like she was doing to my baby girl and see how she feels....any mother would have gone nuts on her ,,,, luckily for her my husband is a civilized man and he was with me that day and keep me calm ... I'm currently looking for a different pediatrician it's not worth it ,,my baby's life is precious I waited so long and pray to be able to have a baby and after 18 years of trying I finally have her naturally and she is perfect................ thank you to doctor Jose Rub you are great but should be more selective when picking your staff...thanks read more

Northshore location is terrible .my appointment was for 1:45 with the doctor himself ( specified over the phone for the appointment) . fast forward 3 pm I was still not received and when I asked the staff ( receptionist : lady with orange hair ) when I would meet the doctor, she told me I wouldn't meet him but another person . I said they could have told me that in advance and she told me to stop complaining . This place is completely screwed up, front office employees are rude. Very dirty. Even during Covid 19 they should clean once a while and so far seating here for 1 hour 10 minutes no one cleaned the surface. The biggest concern is why during Covid 19 when appartment should be scheduled very strict 1 person at the time I'm waiting already in front the office for way more than an hour outside. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE!! Please please read this advice. I just changed my daughters pediatrician and I've never been happier. This place I would give zero stars if possible. To begin with it's usually about a three or four hour process from check in time to the time I leave. Most of the time it's waiting waiting and waiting. After all that waiting They come and tell you that they're short on Something and that you'll need to come back anyways. It is very inconvenient for anyone that has multiple kids or a job or anything like that. I would understand if the staff was at least nice and accommodating, but they are always rude and have an attitude. The main doctor there gave me advice that made my child very very sick. They told me to put my four month old on a vegetable only diet. This caused her to lose a significant amount of weight and after going to a specialist we determined that the advice given to me by this pediatrician was awful and could've potentially killed my child. I would tell anybody to really strongly rethink about going to this office. And I speak as somebody who had gone there myself as a child. The nurse practitioner is probably the only one there with any sort of common sense. But besides her I have nothing good to say about this office. read more

Avoid this doctors office at all costs. For the longest time I was loyal to these doctors because I grew up with their father as my doctor. I was even willing to travel from Coral Springs just because I knew their family and wanted my kids to grow up with the same doctors. But after their father died, the kind treatment I used to receive at their offices have drastically declined. The nurses are beyond outrageous and have a tendency to only treat Spanish speaking customers with kindness. I've notified all the people I referred to go there to stop going and avoid them. And, I hope whoever reads this will heed my warning and save themselves the headache of dealing with their terrible service and unprofessional staff. I gave birth to my twins during COVID. Dr Rub was in my delivery and we immediately loved him. He is attentive and took care of my twins right away. My twins are now 6 months old. I am forever grateful of meeting Dr. Rub and helping us find a specialist for my twins condition. Dr. Rub goes above and beyond and care about each patient. I can't imagine having gone anywhere else during these times. Everything was perfect timing. I am happy to report that my twins are healthy and cleared from their birth diagnosis. I have been taking my 3 children to dr run for more than 10 years and we have had out share or problems including stitches, concussions, broken bones and severe illnesses. I have not found any dr today who cares so much about there patients helping with emergencies getting pre registered at hospitals and follow up calls and care. That are top notch in my book and to the lady who had a bad experience it must have been an unusual day as they take care of patients even when they are full and give each patient plenty of attention instead of a quick look and out the door. My experience was not very pleasant. I came to this office looking for a pediatrician for my unborn daughter I spoke to Dr Rub talked to the nurses and the staff and decided to use him when my daughter was born. I asked what had to be done and they gave me paperwork to fill out and to turn it in after my daughter was born and the doctor saw her at the hospital , I accepted and asked if they would take my insurance gave them the physical card , checked it and said they had no problem taking my insurance I asked again if they wanted the paperwork filled out and they said no to bring it the day after she was born. the day finally came my daughter was born everything went great Dr Rub came saw her checked her out and said to make an appointment to bring her the day after the hospital. The day after the hospital I called to make such said appointment and they said they do not accept my insurance and never have. My insurance paid for everything at the hospital except Dr Rub because they are not on the network and when I asked why I was getting a bill when originally I asked if they were on my network they said it was a MISSUNDERTANDING that I was now responsible of paying I asked to make a settlement or payment arrangement since me and my wife lost our jobs do to covid-19 they declined and said if I didn't pay them that day they would immediately send it to a collection agency. I paid them as I fell threatened by them I don't think it was fair what they did and this should serve as a warning to anyone who wants to choose this practice for their kids. This place is a definite baby mill. The staff is inept at best. At Memorial Regional Hospitol Dr. Rub showed up everyday, as advertising im assuming. But for our first visit the actual doctor was nowhere to be found. On our second visit we very innocently asked the nurse practitioner if the doctor would be coming in. At that point she very rudely left the room and yelled down the hall, "They only want to see the doctor!" I don't know if they have internal problems there but something does not seem kosher at all. I would strongly recommend you stay way from this place if you do not want to wait around for 4 hours like we did on our first visit. read more

Something is up with that place. I just went in for a blood test. Nurse was nice and was trying to calm my fear seeing from my own blood. When the blood test and I was ready to leave, Beny Rub walks and starts acting very creepy around me. Felt something was very off and out of no where had me lean against the wall and started "examining" me. It was the most terrifying experience and as I wasn't sure if this was normal. Was my last day I set a foot to that place. Don't go there. Stay away from Beny Rub. That guy is a sicko. Seriously, who lifts their patient's bra up against the wall without their consent and examines them like that while smirking?! What a sicko. No way this guy is a doctor! read more

I also was very disgusted to see that you did not wash your hands when you came into the room. I switched from another pediatric "mill" to Drs. Rub back in 2004 when my second son was born. I love this practice. I have never had to wait more than an hour to see the doctor without an appointment - which is real important to me as a working mother. Once in an emergency at 5p.m. on a friday when my baby had an attack of croup and wasn't breathing too good at the babysitter, they kept the office open until I went from work to pick him up and brought him there....then the doctor himself called me that night and again the following morning (Saturday) to check on us. read more

I cannot recommend Rub Pediatrics enough! They're extremely responsive, knowledgeable, available and attentive. Their diagnosis is always spot on, and they are very methodical in their steps to rule out anything that could lead to a mis-diagnosis. They know me and my children by name and remember their full history, which is extremely comforting. I've been to too many places where you are just another number. My youngest son gets sick often and I've had to come in several times without an appointment, I've even had to call the doctor at midnight, and I always get an immediate response. One day I had to rush my son to the ER for stitches and Dr. Rub called ahead of time to ensure that we would be seen immediately. They are the best. Been taking both of my kids there since they were born. Had to switch to another pediatrician due to insurance issues, which we resolved and came right back here! They actually genuinely care about the kids. They almost always accommodate the day/time you want for an appt, and if your child is sick, they will accept walkins even if there isn't an appt for that day. They are usually pretty fast about seeing the kids, yes there's been days where we've had an appt and had a long wait due to emergencies, but there's been plenty of times when we walk in with a sick kid and get seen asap. I highly recommend them. ***I'm updating my review today as I had a not so good experience with the nurse practitioner. However Dr. Mark Rub was there and assisted me regarding my concerns. This is the first time I've had a problem, so from now on when making an appt I'll specifically ask to see Dr. Rub. I have always had a great experience with all the Drs in the Rub Pediatrics network. I have had all of them at least once since my daughter was born and they have all been very detailed and caring. As for the nurses they are all very kind and informative. The office manager goes above and beyond her duties and always makes us feel welcome and has been a huge help. She taught us how to install our car seat safely and even pierced both my daughter ears (perfectly, I must add). I have nothing negative to say about any of my visits at Rub Pediatrics. read more

Doctors are great however staff is arrogant and very unprofessional. They misinform you about insurance coverage, they force you to prepay and after that they pass the ball to someone else about the refund. Unbelievable how they can turn a great service from doctors into a poor customer service and lack of professionalism. Avoid if you can. read more

I used to be a patient of Rub Pediatrics (like 15 years ago!) and once I found out I was pregnant, I knew that they would be my children's physician. It is completely different to be on the parent side of things and I couldn't be happier with my experience with Rub Pediatrics. They actually CARE about your children and their well being. I wanted to write this review because most recently one my babies was sick with fever and it turned out to be strep throat. Dr. Rub spent time with me to calm my worries of our first fever and even called to check on us the next day to make sure my daughter was reacting well to the medicine and feeling better!! It's one of those things you never hear about with doctors any more. They have that old school patient care mentality and the kindest bed side manner. I highly recommend Rub Pediatrics for parents who are looking for the best quality care in South Florida for their children. read more
