Both of my children have been going to Dr. Scott since they were young. I started off with other doctors, and switched to him due to unpleasant experiences. I used to wait for HOURS to see the doctor, but I don't with Dr. Scott. His staff greets me and invites us into a room right away. I was shocked when I first started going there because almost every doctor in Miami makes you wait in the waiting room for at least an hour. My children LOVE going to the doctor which is very rare! He talks to them in a mature, pleasant way. He even washes his hands before examining the children. Some doctors don't do that! My children look forward to seeing him. Whenever they feel bad, they ask me to make an appointment because they know Dr. Scott will help them feel well. His staff is exceptional, and they are very friendly. Whenever you need immunization records for school, or some special paperwork, they do it and follow up with you. I can assure you that you won't have to chase them down to get what you need. I'm so impressed with his office that I recommend Dr. Scott to all my friends. He is a fabulous doctor; you won't be disappointed!

I paid $6,000 for maternity care and only attended three appointments before deciding to transfer to another provider. After leaving, I requested a refund minus the cost of the care I actually received, which I felt was a reasonable request. Initially, I was offered only a $1,000 refund, which I did not feel reflected the limited services that were provided. After nearly two years of back-and-forth communication trying to resolve the situation, Galina eventually agreed to refund $3,000. However, despite that agreement, the refund was never actually provided. Over the course of this process I repeatedly followed up politely by email asking for updates or a timeline, but the situation was never resolved. Meanwhile, I had to seek care elsewhere and even pay out of pocket for emergency care through another provider. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating. I paid $6,000 and after months of trying to resolve things respectfully, I was left without the agreed refund and with very little care provided.

For the first time an insurance mix up was beneficial! The receptionist at the front is his wife, and she is super friendly, always asks how things are going, how the family is, etc. Super kind! The nurse is kind as well, always with a smile on her face, and oh so helpful! The waiting room is big, has a section for the kiddies to play, and a TV with the learning channel on, regarding children's health such as what temperature is dangerous and when to bring them in to the doc or to the hospital, food allergies, colic, etc. Very convenient when waiting to be called in, which by the way is not long at all! My total time I have been at the office is about an hour only because I ask a ton of questions. So when you're called in the nurse measures, weighs, and asks if anything has changed... then off to the room. Dr. Nunez comes in, and greets you like he has known you for years! No handshake here all hugs... The environment is very family-orientated, which makes the office warm. Does that make sense? lol You can tell he enjoys his work because he takes his time with the kiddies, and plays with them. He goes over and beyond to write all the answers to the questions down, so you don't forget, and provides in great detail what to do with medication, and etc. He informs you in great detail, and then asks if there are any questions. You may say well that is how all pedi's are, well buddy you are wrong, because the first pedi was not like this at all. They were cold. Thumbs down. Along the walls in the office are all his awards, history of school, and etc. He has a ton of recognition, being favorite, helpful. Etc. Makes Dr. Nunez that much better ;) & he recognizes his patients as well. I came to the office to pick up some papers, and walking out in the courtyard we pass each other and he stops me hugs and asks if everything is ok. I mean come on awesomeness! I never felt so comfortable to ask a ton of questions, even though they may seem silly. There are not that many rooms for children to be seen in, and they schedule patients very well, the wait time is ridiculously awesome considering it is a doctor's office... We all know when you schedule a doctor's appt. you have to cancel everything else lol funny but so true ---sigh--- BUT not the case here... Now mind you I only come in the mornings, and I have a newborn, BUT the office has been full and the wait time was not long. She was very kind and welcoming from the moment she walked in, took her time with me and my husband and our newborn and I never felt she was rushing us--- thank you for that! As a doctor, she needs to get it into her head that 1. You are not in any place to comment on any ones family dynamics 2. You are not to mock any patient of yours 3. You are not to violate patient privacy and 4. You as a doctor will never tell me I'm wrong for not wanting you to violate my privacy and when I say no you will take that as an answer and not spin the situation into making it look like that is wrong.
