Momentum Therapy Center isn't just for kids! Excellent for adults too. Isabel has been very thorough. The initial evaluation was in person, as well as some of the weekly follow-up visits. Once the coronavirus pandemic started our local stay-at-home orders, Isabel did virtual visits, which were also excellent. Within weeks of starting myofunctional therapy here, there was marked improvement in symptoms. Eventually, the neck tightness/discomfort was 100% better, and the shoulder/trapezius area issues were 70-80% better. Snoring was also improved. Visits were in network with insurance, so that's another plus. Overall, highly recommended!

Because of them, I can move freely again- something I realized I hadn't been doing for YEARS. They taught me the correct body mechanics and made me feel amazing. However, what has really been life changing is that before I worked with them, I didn't think I would be able to keep up with a baby and had put off pregnancy. Dr. Sierra and Valencia helped me strengthen and correct my body so well that I am now on a pregnancy journey! First of all, I am pregnant and I informed two women…read moreI spoke with over the phone on two different occasions while I was deciding dates on my first appointment and announced it again at the front desk when I showed up for my first appointment and ALSO, filled it out on my intake form...."I'm Pregnant" They called me back to the room and put me on a body scanning device-- I asked, "Is this was safe for pregnancy?" and she hurried me off of it after I had already been on it for a good 45 seconds. I asked the NP Ashley if that was harmful , to which she replied "I'm not sure, but better safe than sorry." Which was a little unsettling for me. I thought to myself "You don't know...?" Moving on to my next concern...I have spent well over $2,000.00 for testing and 2 appointments with KALE, I was prescribed supplements for my gut issue, picked them up and started taking them a month ago. After taking my supplements for a month, I received a phone call a few days ago saying they prescribed me the wrong supplement and that I need to order a different one instead. Well, of course this raised another red flag because I'm pregnant and there are MANY things I cannot take while pregnant. I asked if there were any negative side effects to taking this supplement while pregnant that could harm the baby - and the guy on the phone was not sure and would have to ask the doctor. So I looked it up online and It is NOT recommended for women while pregnant. Received a phone call back and he informed me it was ok.....Are you guys just trying to save your ass? The third issue that arises is that I have food sensitivity to beef and they told me to put beef tallow on my face for skin issues I'm encountering. Mind you, this was prescribed before the results came in...but does no one go over the files of their patient to make sure things are still copacetic after results are in? I'm just dumbfounded. I don't even know if it would affect me the same as ingesting it, but geez. Come on guys. I really wanted to like this place. During my son's evaluation, she was extremely patient, thorough, professional and incredibly knowledgeable on speech delay and offered key, specific details on their plans to help my boys talk. I am extremely confident in their ability to help us and I am glad we chose her establishment. I have not met Ashanty in person yet, my kids' speech pathologist but she is very easily accessible and sends us updates regularly via text. We have heard great things about her from staff at our kids' schools and so far, we are happy with her. The desk staff, (I've primarily communicated with Cammie) is also amazing. Very responsive and easily accessible, (you can even text with them!) Scheduling was a breeze and I appreciate the great customer service and professionalism. It goes a long way in my book. Ashley was attentive to my concerns about my health, ordered the right tests for us to get answers to the health problems I was experiencing, and was mindful of my budget with all of her recommendations on supplements and testing that were necessary for the insights needed. She has been very responsive and helpful with changing direction of some of these recommendations as we get more data. With Ashley's help, my cortisol levels and insulin resistance issues have decreased, and I have seen some big changes in how I feel and my overall self-esteem.
