Garlic is everywhere and plenty of it. We loved it. Very good desert menu ( hard to choose). We shared a large slice of an almond cake (gato'), a signature desert on Mallorca. Knowing I would review the restaurant, I ordered a 5 course prix fixe selection at 92€. First came homemade bread, followed by a delicious gazpacho (compliments of the chef). The bread was served with an olive tapenade that was fantastic. Following this was the start of 5 courses with a thinly sliced (cooked) Tuna appetizer served with a purée on top. Great, although a bit on the salty side. Bot suThis was followed by an amazing seared scallops with artichoke purée and topped with Iberian crispy bacon bits. Yum. The main dish of seared pork was good, but here's a great example of "American" expectations. This pork is so dark and so rich I actually had to ask if it was beef! I know, I know. How uncultured, but I'm telling you, it was as dark as beef, as rich as beef, and nearly impossible to decipher. For a split second I thought they actually brought me someone else's plate. Our late lunch comprised the tapas, we didn't try main course this time even though I saw grilled dorada with salad at the next table and it looked excellent. Rating for tapas: (1) tuna tartare with wasabi alioli- super fresh, flavorful, beautifully decorated, quite a large portion (5/5), (2) Spanish jamon with melon - one can't go wrong with this dish in Spain as it's secret is Ingredients, perfect sweetness for juicy melon with thin slices of flavorful Jamon (5/5), (3) fried calamari - the best I have tried so far in Mallorca, super fresh, deep fried in a very thin coat that doesn't overwhelm the sweetness of calamari (5/5), and (4) small fried fish - very fresh but had a taste of boiled fish that then was deeper into a drier just for a second, I think I was expecting it to be crisp (4/5). Bread and olives were great, as always in Spain. We would like to come back for a dinner to try other dishes.

We even offered to split into two tables of 6, but were still turned away. We tried again by having our Spanish speaker ask separately, and a different waiter agreed to seat the group. As soon as we all walked in and sat down, the same staff member who had denied us became visibly upset and, in a very sassy tone, said "those are the same 12." She then told us we had to sit in the back if we wanted to stay together, so we moved. Moments later, she changed her mind again, insisting that because we had a baby, part of the group would still need to sit separately. At that point, it was clear they simply didn't want our service, no matter how flexible we tried to be. After being shuffled around and treated so rudely, we decided to leave. Extremely disappointing and, frankly, felt discriminatory. Families and larger groups should be aware before coming here.
