(I figure it was just a matter of time when I'd find myself here.) Anyway! I was in search for a wedding unity arras de boda for a couple getting married in a couple of days. We were referred here by the store next door, saying they might have it. Sadly, they didn't. However! I ended up staying I longer than I needed - I took my time browsing. They had so many interesting things I wanted to purchase for my home! Their displays have really good ideas for decorations and such, and if I only lived close, I might have made out with some good buys! But there is one close to home, and now, it's my go-to not just for home decor, but if I had the need for crafty things. And the staff are incredibly nice. Although they knew there were no purchases made, they were still helpful as to where we may find what we're looking for. (And they're the reason for the above average rating.) Good first run!

I've been here a few times and spent close to $750 at the store and really disappointed to where I…read moredon't ever want to come back. They make you check out by yourself and then computer says that their Ashland florals are on sale for 60% off. However, there's no one to help you when you ring up Ashland floral and it doesn't go on sale on the screen, so you have to call the store to get someone to come help you. I literally had to get on my cell phone and call the store to get someone to come to the front to help me. the person that came to help me was named Ian and was very rude and was correcting me when I said the sticker was yellow instead of white. I was told that if they have a green sticker, they're on sale but if it's a white sticker, they're not on sale but how are we supposed to know that when it's not designated and Ian argued with me that I should've known. The manager was standing right there her name was Noor and I spoke with her afterwards and I expressed how disappointed I was in being treated like that by "Ian" and I asked her if she would appreciate being talked to like that if she were the customer and she said, "no." I doubt I'll ever return to this location. I think we're better off shopping online, especially when they don't train their employees to be professional, respectful, and kind to their retail customers.

I called the store back and was told if the it wasn't included, it wasn't in stock and wouldn't be on my receipt. But It Was on my receipt, $25 worth. I requested a manager, a lady got on the phone and I explained my situation. She said I would have to speak to a store mgr. Bob, the store manager picked up. He was rude and didn't hide his irritation about my order inquiry. As I was explaining my situation, he interrupted to tell me He was busy with Other customers and would have to get back with me at a more convenient time. Pretty Inconvenient for me, a customer, and costly to not receive $25 of merchandise and deal with a snippy craft store manager. This could have been handled very differently. I'm super disappointed. Hopefully you don't have to deal with Bob.

There is an elder sales associate lady who works here often. She berated me in front of multiple…read morecustomers telling me to add my phone number to my order, which I always do. I also get an email notification when the order is ready for pick up, so I am not sure why the sales associate had to speak to me the way she did. This was not a pleasant experience at all and really put an extremely bad taste in my mouth. I should also mention that there is no point to put an alternative person to pick up my order because they do not use that information. It seems that either their system is outdated or the sales associates do not know how to work the system. I cannot imagine ever coming back here with that worker's demeanor... immensely off putting.

Came here for a team building event. They have been making toys for kids since 1944!…read more They are always in need of volunteers year round. Every person that came through the doors was whistling while I waited for the rest of my crew! These folks do this strictly on a volunteer basis. No one is paid. This shop literally, runs like a well oiled machine. The area is extremely clean. It is larger inside then the appearance it gives from the outside. They make lots of wooden toys. I was amazed at the toys they offer for kids to play with. Any kid would love to have these toys! I enjoyed playing with them myself while I was there! These guys work on making these toys 3 days a week every week till Christmas. They've been making Christmas happen for kids since the 1940's. That is pretty amazing and actually a long time to be doing this for free. A little history on Hobby Crafters: Hobby Crafters Foundation was founded in 1944 by Dr. Arch McNeill. While making a house call he noted a patients Christmas tree was empty of gifts. Seeing the need for some Christmas spirit, the doc offered to craft some toys for her to give out to the needy kids at Christmas time. He got together with friends and patients, telling them of his plans to spread Christmas They worked week after week to provide the disadvantaged children in Trinity Bottoms with a handmade wooden toy for Christmas. Dr. McNeill began to enlist the help of friends and associates, and the number of toys that were produced increased rapidly. The group originally called themselves "The Saints and Sinners". Since then, an everchanging group of dedicated volunteers has kept the legacy alive! Please come participate with these wonderful "elves". The staff have all treated me very well and I always enjoy my time visiting this store. They hold events and special drawings for their swords. I found out after months not visiting Firewheel that they actually remodeled the place! It looks way nicer, but wish they had nicer things to sell. There has been newer merchandise, but majority is still the same. Which I feel bad for nitpicking, but its just my honest opinion.
