My daughter tumbled over one and hurt herself, not badly, and I shudder to think of a toddler landing on one of those. I called and left a message with the parks dept and hopefully they will handle it quickly.

They also had another skating rink in Burkburnett where I would work everything from clean-up to skate floor manager. Ditto for the one in Wichita Falls on Old Iowa Park Rd. Located right next door to the Burkburnett Boys & Girls Club. A smooth concrete slab skatepark, with all woodward built ramps and street obstacles. There's a 6' halfpipe, 4' spine quarterpipe, 6' quarterpipe, funbox with rail and much more. Open daily 8am-12am. Bleachers for family and spectators. Very well lit at night. A safe facility day or night! Skatepark Rules: 1) Users of this facility assume all risk of personal injury or damage to personal property. 2) No children under five years of age are allowed in the park. 3) A safety helmet must be worn at all times when using the skate park, "NO HELMET, NO SKATE." 4) Kneepads, elbow pads, wrist pads and shirts are highly recommended. 5) No food, drinks, smoking, reckless, or improper behavior allowed in the skate park facility. 6) The skate park and its ramps/rails are for use of skateboards and inline skates only. 7) No personal ramps or rails are allowed.Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the skate park. 8) No pets allowed within skate park facility. 9) Skating on bleachers is prohibited. 10) No loitering allowed inside the skate park.

The skate park next door has several ramps and rails of different sizes, so it's a probably a pretty good beginner skate park. The only downside is it's right next to a very busy highway, and a local street, with no significant barrier... so, if you have "little's" you might have to keep an eye on them here!
