My daughters went to see a movie, including my 23 year old ADULT daughter and they refused to sell them tickets without a parent there to sign a waiver. Fine, I think it's totally uncalled for when they are with their 23 year old and 20 year old sister. But I top of that they were told they had to leave and were told the police would be called the on them if not, while they were waiting for me to show up to sign this stupid waiver!! CONSERVATIVES BEWARE - they will treat you like crap and be very unfriendly if they know you are conservative. Went to watch Melania, both people at the registers were dry and cold not a single smile or nothing from either of them, one was the General Manager. It was extremely uncomfortable. It was the only movie showing and they were like this with all the people that came to the counter for refreshments. I have never had a single issue and I have been going here for probably 30 years, this was the most sterile and unwelcoming environment. This was my first trip to this theater. It isn't the most modernized theater but the prices are reasonable. I paid $8 for a Saturday matinee ticket. With two people sharing popcorn and drinks it was only $30. The theater was clean and super cold-- perfect for the 90 degree weather. It is easy to get up during the movie to refill or use the restroom because there is so much leg room you won't be bothering too many people. read more

Small theatre at the north end of town. Prices are very reasonable. We came here to see Moana on opening day and the theatre had lots of room for us. The confession stand was easy to use. Since it was midweek we actually bought our tickets at the same time as our snacks. Popcorn was super good. They even have a space where you can get your own butter (see picture I added). read more

It's a small town movie theater - don't expect Century 16 or Harkins. I went to see Bohemian Rhapsody on a Saturday evening. The floors were clean, it smelled normal, and yo! Tonight myself, another parent and 2 kids went to see Black Adam. Our trip to the movies started good until we got to the theater where we learned the bathrooms were still out of order which they have been for over a week. The only bathroom option available for movie goers at this cinema are port a potties outside in the cold in a part of the parking lot that is poorly lite. When I asked the staff about a discount or something for the poor accommodations especially since we have younger children that would need accompanied outside in those conditions I was told they aren't giving a discount. Then when I tried to use my two free movie tickets for the 3rd time at this theater after making sure a week ago that I could use them on this movie on this day. I was told that it's a Disney movie which it's not then I was told it hadn't been out for 2 weeks which it has. The manager refused to even speak to me about these things. This theater has upped its prices twice this year and the heat/ac doesn't always work and the seats are old and busted. Now my rewards are going to expire when I've tried 3 times to use it and the bathrooms are broken. The staff has no customer service skills and the kids were harassed outside in the cold/dark while using the disgusting porta potties. What is the point of the rewards card if you can't use it and what is the point of going to the movies if this is the experience. I will also be posting this on every review site and social media site possible. Super dissatisfied customer negative 5 stars given for this theater. Do not go to Klamath Falls pelican cinemas unless you want an expensive awful experience. read more

The theatre appears to be under construction. Wich needless to say the a/c is not working. The manager just so happened to forget to mention this to his patrons. We informed the staff before the movie and they pretended to adjust the settings knowing very well the a/c unit was out! I'm not from around here and would definitely not recommend this place. She also gave me a dirty look when I asked for no butter on my popcorn. You'll notice I gave the Pelican Cinemas two stars. Why? Well, they have movies...and you can go there to watch them for a price....but the Pelican has never seemed like a knock-your-socks-off-great-experience kinda' establishment. The way they print your tickets on perforated receipt paper irritates me. Also, they have a funny way of kicking the AC into refrigerator mode every 20 minutes during the movie, and frankly, I'm tired of bringing a parka to the movies whether it's January or August. Also, the first and last time I paid the big bucks for a 3-D movie at the Pelican, I was royally disappointed by my greasy, poorly fitted, and all-around cheap 3-D glasses. These little details detract from the experience. Despite the deficiencies, the Pelican Cinemas is the only show in town, so they'll continue receiving my patronage. Grudgingly. On a positive side-note, they were VERY gracious and understanding when my wife and I accidentally walked into the wrong showing and only watched the last hour of our movie. It's a great little theatre. It's not your massive cineplex, but it shows all the latest movies with a fair amount of movie times to choose from. The picture and sound have always been good, though you won't feel the floor rumble during an explosion like you might at higher-tech theaters, but that's ok. Mostly I love the staff that work here. They're always friendly, cheerful kids that are very polite and fast with their service. They make the experience all the more better. Even if the movie I watch sucks, I leave the theatre feeling satisfied. read more

This place is a decent theater, and the only one in town. If you don't like it, well... The prices are really quite reasonable, compared to those in the Bay Area. It's $6.50 for a matinee. Kids and seniors pay only $6.50 during regular showings. Adults are $8.50 for regular showings. They even offer a military discount! Of course, 3D movies will cost you more. The snack bar is okay. The popcorn is fresh and they have a place where you can add your own butter and salt. The seats are comfortable enough, and to be honest, I don't think there's a bad seat in the theaters. Sometimes you can hear the rumbles and loud action scenes from the theater next to you. The staff are polite and accommodating. Since it lies in a small town, the place is definitely packed on Friday and Saturday nights. read more

Just watched Avengers:Endgame last night. We don't make it to in-theater movies very often but we really wanted to watch this one. Anyway. It's an ok theater. Small town, old building. The seats are uncomfortable and the floors were sticky, but the staff was nice. But my main complaint is that IT WAS SO COLD!! They had the A/C cranked up so high that we were shivering. I was wearing a sweater, jeans, socks and sneakers and my legs and feet were FREEZING. My poor husband was only wearing a T-shirt and he almost got up and left even though the movie was so good. We're in our early 40s and tend to run hot so I can only imagine how uncomfortable that would've been for a child or an elderly person. Today My hubby realized he left his prescription Oakley sunglasses there last night so he called in hopes the guy who went in to clean as we left would have found them and turned them in.... Very poor experience with Manager Cody, after waiting in line for 10 minutes. His attitude was unfriendly but not yet rude. He steps up and attempts to help his co-worker. After his service with the couple in front of us. He reluctantly calls on my husband and I. I let him know that we would be ordering a popcorn drink combo. After ringing up the movie, I asked if he got the popcorn and drink b/c the price was low... to which he replied "really?" At this point I took notice of his name tag and surprised he was a manager. He said hold on pretty rude. Cancelling the transaction he re-rings up the movie and popcorn forgetting student discount, which is okay because I can see he clearly getting angry. I get my total,pay. He then walks to the back! Okay. Is he getting help, or restock of cups... nope. He re-emerges 5 minutes later and I ask my popcorn and drink. And he tries to ring it up and I stop him and say. You just helped me. He then tells me I should of told him! What! How is this on me? Still very busy and the line is only longer at this point. Went to Pelican Cinemas yesterday for the 3:10 showing of Power Rangers with my children. There was no line waiting to get in the theater was not packed paid $48 for 3 tickets 3 drinks and a large popcorn. Employees seem to be friendly and courteous, my only complaint is that in the theater itself we were literally sticking to the floor. read more

Just went the other night to the movies and was pleasantly surprised. I'm an out of towner and I found the prices reasonable - $42 for 4 adults and a large popcorn. The quality of the theater was good- large theater with plenty of seats. Temperature was perfect... didn't need my jacket. The service from the guys at concessions was fantastic! Very pleasant and helpful! Would definitely go again next time I'm in town. Only a 4 out of 5 because there was no box office attendant - we had to buy tickets at the concession stand. read more

We went to see Sister last night at 6:40. The theater was a pig sty!!!!!! The theater we were in had not been cleaned, popcorn all over the floor, popcorn bag in aisle walking to the seats, candy box, drink cups in holders, it was awful. Then Went to use the ladies restroom after the show, popcorn on floor, like someone dumped their sack out. No toilet paper in 7 out of 10 bathrooms. When I went to complain to the manager about the problems, he shrugged his shoulders and really didn't care. If there was another option in town I would never go back. read more

The theater was so dirty. I was so surprised how run down the place was. I took my grandchildren and the smell was so intense that it took me most of the movie to get over it. It hasn't been deep clean in a long while. While walking in popcorn was all over the carpet and when the movie was over no one even cleaned it. No pride. The prices are comparable to other theaters (but still expensive) $33 for two normal tickets to 3D movie and two bottled waters (really) - I knew the 3D movie would be $12.25 each but why can't we bring our own bottled water? (you know the $1.25 each versions not $4.25 each ouch) The counter help person did not even try to be friendly and in my opinion was a bit rude even though there was 8 people behind the counter ready to take our order and no one else in line (over worked? -- I think not!!) We originally decided to go to see a movie to get out of the heat (90 degrees outside) and apparently someone forgot to turn the AC on (very hot and muggy inside the theater) not too much fun in my opinion. The 3D glasses we were loaned were very cheap looking, had greasy dirt spots on the insides of the frames and scratched in the centers of lenses which made it difficult to see the movie (ugh!). I mean there was a total of maybe 10 people in the theater do they not have any cleaner unscratched glasses? So overall - not a fun day at the movies, this is why we will not be going back. My suggestion : Maybe time for a management change but being the only theater in town maybe they just don't really care. read more

Small, low-tech movie theater with dirty 3D Glasses that they only wipe off with a towel before they give it to the next customer. They never have everything that is on the menu. If it's past a certain time and they put away the food stock too early, you're just screwed. Seats aren't very comfortable, bathroom is creepy and the whole place needs an overhaul.
