Sugar "Free" Snowballs are NOT sugar free. My Type 1 diabetic grandson and I got 'sugar free'…read moresnowballs. Within 5 minutes his Dexcom alarmed saying he was 300 and rising very fast (two arrows up). Had he not been wearing a Dexcom he could have been in a coma before we realized what he had consumed. A few days later I went alone and bought 3 sugar free snowballs. I tested each one on a glucometer. One registered HI (over 600), the 2nd was 437, and the 3rd was 547!! That is NOT minimal sugar. I contacted the manager, and someone named Adam Aldridge emailed me back, defending their use of Sucralose and obviously pleased with their "sugar free" option. In spite of what physically happened to my grandson's blood sugar after just a few sips of their "sugar free" drink and the evidence I sent them of the results of their drinks on the glucometer they were unwilling to fix the problem. Their "sugar free" drinks are dangerous for any diabetic, and worthless for any dieter.

We have not tried the shaved ice. Frozen empanadas are also available to take with you and eat at home! LOGISTICS The parking lot is tiny, but the traffic in the area is usually not too much trouble. We've visited twice, and each time we've been, they have their large TV playing, which is thoroughly distracting to my 4-year-old kids. We have easily been able to take our food home with us or go to a local park, but this is something that I have to keep in mind when I plan to visit - we aren't able to dine in because of the television. The staff has always been friendly, and I love supporting this small business. I love seeing the different foods from different places of the world together in one place, and I love having the authentic Peruvian empanadas so close by to home!

My neighbors are Hispanic so I've been blessed to have variety next door.... Now I have it down the street. They have delicious Mexican street corn, ice cream, sandwiches, nachos, etc. I don't speak Spanish but they have all the Mexican desserts you n ask for. If you're in Austell you definitely need to check them out.
