Pella windows are great, the installers in St Augustine are horrible. I have Pella fiberglass windows and a few year later here I am ripping out the drywall because they leak. They do not install them correctly. So if you buy Pella windows and they install, I recommend hiring a competitor as a consultant that works for you and monitors everything they do in the installation process and has the power to tell them to stop and redo it or stop working if they refuse, I spent over $10K with them and now I'm wondering how much it will cost me to fix had I have to have over 8 windows pulled and reinstall correctly (hoping the damage on the other windows is not as bad ) read more

Go with Anderson! I spent 91k dollars for a whole house install. The project coordinator's don't call you back, they schedule times and days for someone to be at the home and they are no shows. Pella charges 50% down, which is OK but when the windows were installed, the stucco was damaged, the paint was damaged, the wall trim was not finished and they had not been inspected and they were demanding full payment. They still have not replied to my request to finish the work. They should not expect full payment before completing the job to satisfaction. read more

Went to the show room on Phillips Highway around 11:00 am on 5/27 to get an idea on a patio door replacement. Found a door on display that we asked what the price was. Rep stated that she could not give us price and that we would need to schedule an in home consultation. I again stated that we were just trying to get a price on the door and depending on cost we would have someone come out, but not knowing the price before setting up a consultation made no sense. Another representative came over to the desk and confirmed that they could not give us the price. You can get the price on the internet or visit Lowe's to get a price of the door, so I have no idea why they could not give us a price. This has to be the worst business I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I ordered a new front door and storm door in early August 2024, and the order was delayed by a month from the original timeline. This is where the issues started. When the crew showed up to install the front door, they only installed the front door and left the storm door behind. There was absolutely zero communication that the storm door would not be installed due to a production delay. My project manager, Felicia Green, provided no updates and, when I expressed surprise, blamed the CRM system for the lack of communication. Not only was the order incomplete, but the sales agent, Greg Jakush, and an additional technician who came to verify the measurements also failed to measure the old front door hardware correctly--hardware that was supposed to be repurposed per the contract. As a result, I was left with hardware uninstalled, including the strike plate, which is critical for the door's security. This was finally corrected by another technician a couple of weeks later. Fast forward to the end of December 2024, when they came to install the storm door. It was measured incorrectly by Greg Jakush and wouldn't fit the new door configuration. The team tried to convince me to install a door that was too large, which would have left a gap at the bottom. When I refused this option, citing the risk of snakes (as we live in Florida), they proceeded to damage the stucco around the door. Now, I'm expected to repair and repaint the damage myself. I was told by the installation manager that I would be contacted within a week to provide an updated ETA, but I never received any communication. On 1/13, after waiting over two weeks, I reached out to my project manager, Felicia Green, for an update. She ignored my email, but the company started sending SMS reminders about an upcoming installation. So, I reached out again on 1/14, asking for clarification, especially since I also have a service ticket in and wasn't sure what exactly was being installed on 2/28. Once again, no response. I have called their project manager support line multiple times to speak with Felicia Green, but she is always "on another call" and promises to call back shortly, which never happens. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with, and I'm absolutely sick to my stomach over how much I spent on these doors. After our conversation, he emailed me with the following: "As per our conversation earlier today we have agreed to replace both door panels and framing with new product as there is significant damage that occurred during the installation process". We spent about $20,000 to replace some windows and sliding glass doors. Install was good but they left everything unfinished for the inspection. I have called numerous times and it has been weeks with no inspection and everything is still unfinished. No issues with the installers at all, they did a great job, but no one follows up with you or calls you back. read more

This company has been the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life, *bar none* You will never get a helpful person on the phone, because they don't even answer the phones or return calls. We are 3 months *past* our due date for installation and I have zero faith that the windows will even be installed correctly. These people are sloppy clowns. Zero integrity, zero customer service, they take your money and then *you* have to track them down for any kind of update. Nice salesman came to the house. When he left, my wife and I were positive that he said the installation would happen the third week in October, but later we received notification that it would happen the third week of November. Oh well. We lived with the old windows for almost 20 years, an extra month isn't that big of a deal. On the 21st they arrived and installed all of the windows. The installers said that they would be back the next day with the inspector and would finish the job. The stickers have to remain on the windows, the screws are all exposed, etc.. Then on the 22nd we waited and waited and waited. Finally I called, wondering when they were coming. The answer? They aren't coming. The inspection has to be scheduled. The workers should have never said they would be back the next day. Yada, yada, yada. So, the inspection and their coming to finish the job was yesterday. The inspector came early in the morning. Found some screws that they didn't put in, and gave me the option of him just making a comment or failing them. I told him that they were coming at 1:30 so just a comment is fine. 1:30 came. 2:30 came. I called and was told that they would be here by 3:30. Nobody came. Nobody called. Today I called. They can't get anyone out until Friday morning to finish this job, and according to the woman in the Orlando office, all they can do is schedule the workers. Scammers!!! Scammers!!! Scammers!!! That's how I can summarize Pella of Jacksonville. We've had the worst experience with them. They destroyed our drywall on the inside, stucco and soffits during the installation of 24 windows, and 4 of the windows were off pitch. They were just going to cover the damaged stucco with 2x4. After we told them that was unacceptable they offered to fix our stucco AT A DISCOUNT. We were coerced into signing a new contract to fix the stucco. We then had to wait another 2 months for the stucco job to be done, the whole time our house being exposed to the elements. After the stucco guy left, we were expecting the windows to be caulked (as outlined in the contract) and Pella is now refusing to do. I'm in my sixties and have never had such bad service from any business. When I asked for the phone nimber for his boss, Phil Peek, he said that he will not give me his number. He said that he would talk with Phil Peek about it. I said, "so then are we going to go back to nobody answering my calls for weeks on end?" He said "Maybe". After getting estimates from other companies, Pella was hands down the most professional and reasonable in their pricing. We had slick talkers from New South that literally made us annoyed and sick the way people do business nowadays. After having Dave in our home,the salesperson we knew immediately that they were the right company. His professionalism was refreshing compared to the mumbo jumbo we got with other companies. Our installers were kind and professional . We had handyman on standby as i had wood damage and was told upfront that Pella doesnt cover pre-exsiting wood damage. And we should have one in the event! This should be a negative 10 stars!! Salesperson was good, seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Windows arrived in specified time frame and installed. Installers barley spoke English and proceeded to install windows, not by the plans sent by Pella but as they wanted. Had to wait almost 4 weeks for the inspector to come out. He failed the installation after looking at the 3rd window. He did inspect all widows and gave a list of corrections for repair ( some of them were serious defects) and said for Pella to call him. We contacted Pella the same day was told the manager would be out the next day. We have not heard a word or seen anybody yet. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! read more

If you're looking for a company that provides good customer service, is responsive, and communicates well, I suggest going elsewhere. The entire process with the Pella showroom in Jacksonville, FL has been terrible. The only thing they were quick about was to take my money. It has been 25 days since my sliding door was installed. I waited much longer than my quoted time frame for the door. I was quoted 8-10 weeks and received no communication or updates along the way from my salesperson that I didn't have to seek out with repetitive emails to get a response on when my door was arriving, etc. When the door was finally installed, the installers showed up without the screen door that goes along with my slider. I had to ask why I didn't have one before they realized the mistake. Then I waited another 10 days for that to be installed. When they finally brought it, they brought a screen door that has a rip in it. Now we are going on 15 days since the screen door was installed and I've heard nothing from Pella on my estimated wait time for my screen door to be re-screened. Poor service all around. Contracted with Pella for 2 exterior doors and one window replacement. Did not get Pella product because of back order. Paid a good amount down and we're told it would be about 3 months to install. Before that 3 months was up they called and said it would be 2 more months. This was kind of expected since it was at the beginning of the COVID supply issues. We finally made it to install and had our appointment and the install guys showed up a day early so we didn't have anything moved or ready. They said they would take care of it. They broke the blind in the kitchen window when they took it down. They also did not clean up outside after installing the doors. Left a lot of debris and saw dust. But the thing I am most annoyed about is that the painter who was supposed to fill the screw holes and paint the door jambs showed up and filled the holes. Then was hoping it would dry fast enough so he could paint and be done but they didn't so he said he would be back in the next couple of days and never showed up. Pella called for final payment and I told them that the painter never came back so the job wasn't done. They said they would contact him and get him back so I went ahead and paid them. That was a mistake! Once they got their money I never heard from anyone again. I emailed multiple times and left messages to no avail. I'm sure that painter got his money from them so he wasn't interested in coming back either. So I have not choice but to finish the job myself. And on top of that the touch up paint that was provided doesn't match so now I'm going to have to get more paint and repaint the door jambs and the doors so they match. I had over 30 windows and doors replaced (my entire home) with Pella Jacksonville. My install date was November 2020, it's April 2021 and I still have multiple unresolved issues including my front door cracking in half and several windows with trim either falling off or pieced together very poorly that they look unprofessional and awful and are still awaiting repairs and painting. I send emails to the management team that literally just go unanswered, they just ignore me and don't bother to reply. I haven't gotten a single proactive phone call or email from my salesperson since they made the sale to see how my experience is going. I'm at a complete loss, I've never made an investment this large and had customer service this poor. I would never advise anyone to trust this company with your largest and most important investment, your home. The employee Pella sent to look over the install work and create a punch list of items to address for me, stood in my foyer and told me the front doors I'd been sold were "garbage" and that he couldn't believe Pella was still selling them (these are the same doors that are now cracking in half) and yet Pella has refused to replace them with a different product. read more
