Over the…read moreyears, water on the door sill from the rain apparently wicked up and helped rot the bottom of the door frame. I didn't just need a door replaced - I wanted the frame, sill, and trim rebuilt like new, before the damage got worse. I found Cameron Home Improvement at the Rochester Home Show this year. The sales process was simple. They helped me pick out a door by Milliken which was a steel entry door with a full length window pane but had mini-blinds *inside* the two panes of glass. I was very impressed by the installers - they really knew what they were doing. They put down drop cloths before they started so it didn't make a mess. The door and all the trim is really nice - the work looks sharp, it looks like new construction. This door is really nice. The blinds can be raised and lowed, and even tilted, by a slide on the inside side of the door. The blinds never bang when you open and close the door because they are mounted inside the glass. If you need any work like this, I strongly recommend Cameron.

The sales team -- especially Mike G. -- was spectacular. They spent several hours with me over multiple visits helping me understand how to evaluate different options and ultimately recommending the best solution for my specific situation. I never felt pressured, only supported and well-informed. The installation experience was perhaps one of the best I've ever had with any home improvement company. The Rochester Colonial team was highly skilled, professional, and incredibly respectful of my home. Unlike other contractors I've used in the past, they used plastic barriers to wall off the work area so dust and dirt didn't spread throughout the house. They paid attention to every detail and even mopped the floor before leaving. The craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer care exceeded my expectations. I couldn't recommend Rochester Colonial more highly.

Staff members dropped everything, looked up the door we purchased several years ago and found the parts to match, all at no charge. We continue to use Rochester colonial for all of our doors and windows; never disappointed with the product or service quality.

I can't say enough good things about Ron, Gordy, and the rest of the siding crew as well. They are hard working, incredibly respectful, and most importantly very good at what they do. I will definitely be recommending Vekton to any and all friends or family who are in the market for residing in the future.

One of the owners, a Mr. Gordon, was very rude and refused to assist us in repairing the leak. Vekton is a shell corporation that hires local sub-contractors to complete the various projects. The idiot that Vekton hired to install our roof tried to bill us an extra $1,030 for labor and materials that were never used. We hired Vekton to perform a very simple installation of a new attic fan and the highly-skilled Vekton crew ruined the fan motor. Part of the contract required our chimney to be re-flashed, it was not re-flashed even though it was specifically spelled out in our contract word for word. We were forced to hire another roofing company to repair the leak. That cost us an additional $1,300 plus $950 for drywall and ceiling repairs. In closing, Vekton is by far the worst company that I have had the misfortune to do business with. We caught the owner, a Mr. Gordon, perpetrating lies and deceptions throughout the course of the entire project. You cannot trust them. Good luck, if something goes wrong! They don't even honor a warranty two months after a project has been completed. A Complete Nightmare!
