He assured me that there was no reason to do an xray because based on his exam, I did not fracture anything. He stated he would "wear a mask" since I was wearing one - and he put on a flimsy clothe that looked like a pair of pantyhose over his face. Clearly not preventing anything. His receptionist was also maskless. He performed some adjustments, which increased my pain. I went to my PCP immediately following this, and had an x-ray, which revealed I had fractured my L2 vertebrae. As my PCP stated, his manipulation of my spine, post injury, is not good medicine. Avoid this office.

My daily pain is almost gone now. I don't have to see an orthopedic doctor, and I don't have to get an epidural shot. I no longer take muscle relaxers or 800 mg. of precipitation strength Motrin. After one or two more visits, I will see Dr. Belanger for a maintenance adjustment. I've been singing the praises of this chiropractor to a number of locals, and I will continue to do so. He has helped me tremendously. Walking and climbing stairs are no longer an issue for me. Dr. Belanger's receptionist was also able to fit me in the very day that I called.
