A month ago, my lower back pain was a mess. Nagging pain was affecting my daily quality of life. Then I found Dr. Belanger at the Center for Health in Wakefield. My daily pain is almost gone now. I don't have to see an orthopedic doctor, and I don't have to get an epidural shot. I no longer take muscle relaxers or 800 mg. of precipitation strength Motrin. After one or two more visits, I will see Dr. Belanger for a maintenance adjustment. I've been singing the praises of this chiropractor to a number of locals, and I will continue to do so. He has helped me tremendously. Walking and climbing stairs are no longer an issue for me. Dr. Belanger's receptionist was also able to fit me in the very day that I called. I am feeling so much better now. I had worked in the medical field for over 35 years at RIH, and the one thing that I appreciate also with him along with his assistance Miranda is they show much personal compassion and concern for their patients. That is something that I found lacking in hospitals by many of the staff. Thank you Dr. Post! I have been coming to see Dr. Post on and off for help after a car accident I had in 2004. My most recent issue Was from a herniated disk in my lower back. I kept hoping the spasms and pain would go away I tried everything but was not pain free, 6 Months of physical therapy and while I felt a little better I still was not back to regular movement. Then I received a post card in the mail checking in with me from Dr. Post. I thought maybe he could help with this. He ordered an MRI to see what was going on and determined how he could help. I've always have had a great experience at Center for Health Chiropractic and Nutrition. First great experience with now retired Dr. Post and again with Dr. Belanger. Dr. Belanger is very knowledgeable. His adjustments definitely make an improvement. I've had back problems all my life. Scoliosis, pinched nerves, stiff neck, a differential gate. Upon coming to this practice has positively changed my quality of life and always adjusted me the way I needed having me feeling back to my better self. Most recently, I was about 23 weeks pregnant and I developed painful sciatic pain. After just one adjustment visit with Dr. Belanger my sciatic pain had completely gone away and I continued to have weekly visits to keep myself in line while my body goes through a transformation during pregnancy. I've been a patient of Dr. Post for over 30 years. Over that time, I've suffered from pinched nerves in my low back and neck and tendinitis in my arm. Dr. Post's care has consistently alleviated my pain so that I have stayed physically active and mostly pain-free. His diagnosis of the pinched nerve in my neck was accurate, and his treatments fixed the problem. A noted surgeon had diagnosed carpal tunnel, telling me my arm was numb from the pinching in the wrist causing numbness up to the neck. The surgeon's treatments made my condition worse. Dr. Post's treatments made me better. I have had consistently good care from Dr. Post. His staff is caring and helpful. The office hours are great - early hours Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and late hours Tuesdays and Thursdays make it easy to schedule an appointment without missing work. I dont usually write reviews especially negative ones but I felt compelled to write this one to prevent others going through the same thing. I've wasted hundreds, almost a thousand of money and so much time & effort going to see this doctor. He will spend 5 minutes (at max) with you and try to kick you out as he always has 3 other patients waiting for him in other rooms. If you need help with something that requires a minute more of his attention, he will ask you to make another appointment. It's a care based on pure financial interest rather than genuine patient care. After going to see him 2-3 times a week for months, my symptoms got worse, not better. And his feedback was that me and my symptoms are "stubborn". What? Seriously? I've done everything that you ask for and you blame your patient for your incompetency by calling the patient "stubborn"? I'm furious and still in pain. Never going to see him or in fact another chiropractor in my life. Go see a physician therapist before wasting your time and money! read more
