I wasn't sleeping at night and was really worried about how I was going to keep up with the demands of my business during the busy holiday season. From my very first visit with Bert Brier and his team, I knew I was in the right place. Bert is extremely knowledgeable and supportive, but he also pushes you in all the right ways. He had me working through the pain to build strength, and before long, I was back on my Peloton--something I had completely given up on. I went three times a week over the summer, and the difference has been incredible. I'm now almost pain-free, sleeping through the night again, and back to my regular activities. I honestly thought knee replacement surgery was my only option, but now I'm holding off because I feel so much better. I can't say enough good things about Bert and everyone at Pappas. Once you are in, he takes his time with you; does careful detective work, and creates a custom solution, starting with a semi-custom (and less expensive) orthotic. I took my daughter and he carefully and kindly explained the problem, gave her exercises, and told her what to expect over time, and gave her hope, in addition. Now I am going to make my own appt with him! You cannot rush a master in his craft--when it's your time, you will be taken care of. Just leave a little extra time in your schedule and plan for it.

I was told three different occasions that the reason for the smell was due to the air conditioner requiring replacement- that can not explain why everything has dust/dirt on it- was also told that all equipment is cleaned after every patient and that is just a blatant insult to the intelligence of anyone with eyes. She is very sensing of slight alignment issues, and only adjusts what is out, and her skill with the neck is remarkable. She won't force an adjustment if my muscles are too tight, instead she will massage them or try another approach. If I am a mess, she spends a lot of time, and she coaches me on stretches that reduce the need for visits. All good! Ellie is great on the front desk. Christine and Kevin have typically a 5 day wait, and there is no pressure for appointments you don't want or need. By my choice, I find that a visit monthly corrects those little things that otherwise grow and become real issues. They don't sell supplements or gadgets but I think you can buy a pillow and shoe insert from them.
