Despite this medical emergency occurring before any actual visit, we were charged for the encounter. When I initially contacted the location, Prisma on Tiger Blvd., I was told that "they did some stuff on him," which did not align with what occurred. I was also told their manager said we were not entitled to a refund. After numerous attempts to speak with someone within Prisma, I was finally contacted by Patience Boyd, who informed me that she had reviewed the video footage of the incident. She confirmed that a refund was warranted. That conversation took place on January 30th, and I have yet to receive the refund or any follow-up communication. I have called Patience again to inquire about the status, but I still have not received any response. This situation has been extremely disappointing. I should not have to make repeated calls or navigate multiple departments to receive a refund that Prisma has already acknowledged is due. Given the seriousness of the circumstances, this should have been handled promptly and proactively. Please confirm that the refund is being processed immediately, along with a clear timeline for when it will be completed. If additional information is needed from me, I expect to be contacted without further delay.

For someone who rarely gets sick the stomach flu is a traumatic event. I was able to get in to this clinic quickly and was taken care of with the utmost attention. The nurse practitioner on duty was very attentive and kind, and I was checked far more thoroughly than my MD would have done. I was provided everything I needed to continue to get well once I left. The initial nurse I saw was also great, but that Nurse Practitioner or PA whatever she is, Stacy Fender...never again. I tripped on the lip of our garage and twisted my ankle and cut up my knee. This woman acted like she couldn't touch me and wasn't listening to what I was saying. I just wanted to make sure nothing was broke on my foot because the swelling and pain was intense but no bruising and my main point to her...this foot had just recovered from a previous injury, which was like explaining it in a foreign language to her, she didn't get it. Next thing I know, the nurse is bringing me a cup for a urinalysis??? I ask why she says Stacy ordered it...I said for an Xray? Poor nurse she said she just follows orders. Thankfully nothing was broke and when it came time to look at my knee, this chick looked from afar and didn't even bother to redress it but had the nurse come back in, who did an amazing job. I asked Stacy why I had to pee in a cup for an Xray and she got all squirrly and said "it must have been a mistake" yeah your mistake, thank you for PROFILING me so blatantly. I was surprised to learn that college physicals were $69 dollars. I would have left then but he was approaching a deadline and needed it done and I did not have time to schedule with our regular md. We got in our room pretty quickly, however even with our appointment made ended up waiting over an hour to see a physician. Doctor finally came in and did nothing differently than they did for his sports physical! Now months later I am getting a bill from them since it looks like they filed it under my insurance anyway!!
