I went to this repair shop looking for a new phone unfortunately I was over charged for the phone I bough, I called and asked to return it because I still have my receipt and it was just a few days ago and I was over charged they said they can not do that, I am extremely disappointed and will not shop there again. read more

My phone screen broke so I took it to this place when it was still being run by the old/previous owner. He replaced the screen but it was not completely glued (there was one side of the screen higher than the other side where you could see and smell the glue that he used) plus when he did the replacement, the battery got damaged, so I was not able to use my phone without being connected to the current/charger. I took it back very disappointed and he said he was going to order a new battery for my phone and replace it with no cost, so I gave him a second opportunity after what happened. After a few weeks, being in contact with him, he claimed the battery had still not arrived. Then one day he said he wasn't running the store anymore and was out of BC and that he would call the new owner to check if the battery had arrived there so the new owner could take responsibility. I decided going there to check in person (I live out of Penticton). When I arrived, the store had changed, being run by a new person (the actual owner). I talked with him, he seemed friendly and wiling to help the old costumers from the previous owner, checked the packages to see if the battery arrived, and no, the battery had not arrived. I kept calling after that for a couple of weeks (the old owner did not answer my calls anymore), and the new owner answered our last call very rude saying he wasn't going to take responsibility for the previous costumers, he wasn't going to order/change my battery and I had to check with the previous owner because they did not get along and they did not want to talk to him anymore. I was insisting and really disappointed, so he ended up hanging up on me. I did not put more effort into this place after that, obviously my phone didn't get fixed by the current owner and after a month it got worse so I couldn't use it anymore.  By law, if the business remains the same and only the ownership changes, then the new owner will be responsible for any outstanding debts or liabilities of the business. Very disappointed with this place, their owners, their service, their customer service, and their experience. This place is a complete SCAM and NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. It is a shame that people get to run a business like that without the experience/ professionalism to deal with customers, facing them and taking responsibility rather than taking advantage of them and their money. Updated review: After Pen Hi-tech responded to my review I called as requested. Spoke with Ali who offered to replace battery. Dealing with Ali was a much better experience than who I had previously dealt with. I have a different battery and I am satisfied. When I replace my TabA battery I will go back to PHT. I would recommend this business. Went back a week after getting new battery installed because there was no difference in my Note 9's old battery. Was told he couldn't help me because I could have done anything to it in a week. Then he said I have a custom rom that was draining my battery. I don't. My device is not rooted. I do however have a custom launcher. I have used Nova launcher for years and aware of its battery use. Usually 3-4%. My phone is never left to overcharge. I take very good care of it. So when I went home I installed and ran Accubattery. The result showed new battery capacity at 2,657 mAh or 66%. Actual design capacity 4,000. So, my apps weren't draining my battery. For 66% my battery actually lasts quite long. I believe I paid for an old battery or some cheap knock off. So unless you have $100 to throw go somewhere else in town. read more

Best iPhone repair place in town they are actually very good because they're affordable quick and fix your phones in under 30 minutes amazing customer service and price is cheaper than other places but have much better screens I know this from experience because I went to a shop by the lake and saw how shitty quality the screen was but then I got a fix the same phone the iPhone 6 I got a fixed iPad high-tech and the screen was way better read more

Not only did they not fix my problem but they posted their own Google review saying that they did amazing service on my "Mac computer" I've never owned a Mac computer nor do I post Google reviews.
