A nice location but we regret our decision to live here. The cost of rent is ridiculous for the quality that you get. Our apartment was crawling with thousands of ants, our refridgerator didn't work, and the customer service is frustrating. We were promised a $500 referral from Pendleton when our friends referred us. However, when we asked why we did not get the $500 they came up with some lame excuse that they forgot. Then it got lowered to $400 and we have to wait 6 months. My advice would be to go somewhere else where your money will be better spent. We continue to be frustrated with the service and quality after spending over $900/month for rent. read more

Perfect location and home. I have lived here for 5 years for the school district. The schools are amazing but the complex makes me stay. The staff is so nice. I moved into the community on May 23, 2016. The condition of my apartment was beautiful and felt new. I moved from the Ann Arbor area and had a bad experience at my previous residency but this place really changed my mind on what apartment living would be like. The service team is incredibly friendly and willing to assist in whatever ways they can. The property is beautifully maintained and clean. They pool and hot tub is so relaxing and very well maintained. The other residents are friendly and welcoming too! I adore living here. read more

Pendleton Park Apartments is the place to move if you like hiking trails, biking and being close to the lakes, BUT if you entertain and have people come to visit, you might think twice. The grounds are not maintained the best, and the exterior of the buildings are in need of repair, rotting wood that needs replacing and painting. Management DOES NOT enforce rules regarding the use of patios and balconys , as storage spaces. I have seen everything from kayaks, tires and just about anything you can imagine. The water supplied is well water and is hard water, which STINKS and stains everything, good china , silverware, stemware and even stains the toilet bowls which you cant get cleaned. If your apartment is one that has a reglazed bath tub ( I call it painted ) it will keep peeling. When you have business at the office to pay rent or other reasons , you will have to park on the side because maintenance staff all park their personal and company vehicles right in front , that is where tenants should be able to park when coming to the office. Maintenance will respond to any issue you might have in a reasonable amount of time. But if it is an issue like a leaking window , and maintenance cant repair it, it stops right there and nothing is done about it, or at least in my case that is what happened. read more

I have lived here since 2009 and have had multiple apartments and overall have enjoyed my time here at Pendleton Park...I actually plan to renew for another year! They allow dogs over normal weight limits, which is great, and each of the styles have fit my needs over the years. The office staff has changed a few times, but recently things have been great and we've been getting a lot of cool new updates to the community. Maintenance is really helpful whenever you call and the office staff friendly each time I visit (they even have treats for my dog). Pendleton Park is by far my favorite apartment I have ever lived in. And I have lived in a lot of apartments over the years believe me. I have lived here for over 3 years and never had 1 issue. The staff here is amazing. My water heater went out super late at night and we called the 24 hour matenience number and Denis was here within 5 minutes. The girls up front are wonderful! They are always happy to help in any way rather it's a lost package or renting out the club house. The pool sparkles and the resident events are more fun than I ever imagined they would be. Krystal and Denis put on some great resident parties for children and those much needed adult only swim and cook out nights! The best part about this community for my husband and I is that we can have our big dog here. And he is so loved by the staff and our great neighbors. This community rocks and I am beyond happy we chose Pendleton to call home. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Do NOT move here! They charge a ridiculous amount of money and the apartments are made as cheaply as possible. Management does not care about their residents and doesn't fix things in a timely manner. Half the time we have had to call multiple times to remind them and have even had to call higher positions for anything to be done. They don't care about "livable" conditions as long as they are getting paid. I would never recommend this place and have talked to many other residents who agree as well. read more

I was very disappointed in the staff especially Shelby. She never smiled, she acted like we were a bother when we toured the Apartments and she was very mean to our 11 and 14 year old kids. We felt like she didn't want kids living in the Apartments. We lingered a bit to see how other residents acted and the people seemed nice but Shelby was constantly giving dirty looks to the kids that passed through the club house. One year at Pendleton Park was too many! After the first year they raised rent by $80 so be prepared for that, if you think you will get the good tenant discount for resigning a lease agreement you are sadly mistaken. The rent is ridiculously priced considering that your utilities will be out of control. The windows are horrible; you can feel the wind rip through the "windows" and walls. Even with the plastic over them for the winter and summer months (for a/c) there was little, to no change in utilities cost. Not that you should have to place window plastic over the windows in a complex that is only ten years old. The only thing you save on is not having a water bill.... BUT the water is so awful you will end up paying more in the long run. The water softeners (multiple systems) they have installed new recently are already back to the way they were before (which is fine if you like brown rusty water) they have/had been serviced multiple times. This water will ruin your clothes, and about once a month for a day or two (if you are lucky enough to only get those few days where this happens) your water will run dark brown rust, hopefully not before you need to shower for work or anything. I would not even let animals drink this water. So plan on buying lots of bottled water. Working in the construction trades my whole life, I can tell they used the cheapest products available to put this whole complex together. I had to wait 3 months for screens because they had to have them custom made because they are not a standard size. I also had to place several calls to get this simple task accomplished. The walls are so thin be prepared to hear your neighbors crying babies, dogs, music, talking, cabinets slamming... you can not only hear your neighbor fart, but can most likely smell it. The only positive takeaway this place offers is they take big dogs, which is why I signed here in the first place. They have a "strict" (what a joke) policy on cleaning up your dog droppings, they provide pet areas, with plastic bags and trash bins that make it simple to clean up after your animal, but forget about anyone enforcing it! As a dog owner, I am disgusted at the lazy pet owners not cleaning up after their animals, as well as disgusted with the management at the clubhouse for not taking care of this issue. Poop everywhere. Again, the management office will be polite and listen to your complaints about anything and feed you a line about how they are going to take care of the issue just to get you off the phone, I promise you nothing will be done unless you call, call, and call. Even then, don't expect it to get fixed timely or correctly or at all. Another reason I signed a lease here was to use the pool/hot tub, gym, sauna. Last summer the pool was shut down every week and drained because parents do not monitor their children and Pendleton Park has no pool monitor to make sure rules are being followed. Also to make sure the pool isn't getting defecated in regularly (which it was) you won't be able to enjoy the hot tub because the kids use it as a toilet/playground. Even though they are not allowed in the hot tub without parents, but the parents are nowhere to be found around the pool area. Of course Pendleton Park will tell you they will take care of the issue and hold the parents responsible, nothing will happen. I have had birds in my dryer twice in less than two years because of a simple exhaust vent cover. As well as yellow jackets nesting EVERYWHERE! It looks nice from the outside, and the smiles and bs they sell you in the clubhouse make it enticing but I strongly urge anyone considering this place to cross it, and any other village green complexes off your list of potential new homes. You pay way too much money here to have to deal with all these issues! The tenants they have been leasing to in the last year have really destroyed whatever credibility it held. Glass is constantly smashed in the parking lots and sidewalks, cars are getting broken into and last week we had a shooting! You will get absolutely no respect from the management office or Village Green. I could go on and on, make it simple and do yourself a favor and do not make the same mistake I made!!!! I have nothing but regret since moving here. Completely dissatisfied. read more
