The audiologist that assisted me was very helpful and pleasant (the receptionist not so much, kind of snotty and put-out acting, and that's an immediate turn-off - I hated office work when I did it, but I didn't take it out on clients.) The hearing aids prescribed to me did not improve my hearing at all - the very first time I wore them anywhere one fell out and got lost, and it cost me another $200 beside the original outrageous $5000 for these worthless hearing aids. They fell out so easily I kept putting my hands up to my ears constantly to see if they were still in place, it was a very disappointing experience, a major pain, while doing absolutely nothing to improve my hearing! On top of that I'd have to remember to change the teeny weeny batteries from time to time (right, I'll remember when that is and how to do it) and then they said if I can't do it I can bring it in and have them do it - well no, thanks - another pain. I've never been so upset about an expenditure in my life, I feel like I was scammed big time, and the product was not very helpful anyway. Huge bummer and disappointment - they sit to this day unused on the charger to remind me to be more cautious in the future.

I found her to be non judgemental (about us tanning types) and very insistant that it is most important to gradually deal with sun damage. Not just getting peels and heavy treatments, but daily (and yearly) treatments to prevent future damage and reverse whats already done. I now understand the importance of taking care of the only skin I have. She is available in several Dr.s Clinic offices and is easy to get an appointment with. Dr J was amazing with his patient bedside manner making sure all my questions and concerns were answered without me feeling rushed. I am an RN and I'm pleased with both Tamirah and Dr J. I need to add Julia too who is such an inspiration to new nurses. I say this because Tamirah had questions and Julia patiently showed her how to do it. How great is that. Finally, Jennifer you took the extra time finding out about my prescription by calling my pharmacy and giving them the medication order. He has been in practice for over 35 years, and he practices with Drs Clinic of Poulsbo. He is Family Practice. Reasons why I like him are many but here are some: 1. He diagnosed a rare infection I had when I first came to him. Other Drs I had fired when they couldn't figure out why I was so sick missed that I had a rare amoebic infection. He also diagnosed a difficult diagnosis that needed surgery that many er drs and a GI specialist missed. 2. When I was very sick over the Christmas Holidays he called me to see how I was doing on Christmas Morning. (He was also on vacation). 3. This Dr. listens to his patients. He is also a very kind and spiritual man. *You may have to wait longer in the waiting room with him, because he takes the time to listen to a patient when a patient needs it. I don't know if Dr. Kina is taking on new patients anymore but if he is, he is the kind of Dr. to have if you have a problem others drs cannot figure out. Or if you just need a great Dr. who listens to his patients and relates well to them, he is a great Dr. to have on your side.

I here so many people speaking of patience in a doctor and listening as being important qualities. Doctor Lehmann has both. He was at the doctors clinic, but wanted more time with his patients so has now opened up shop at Vintage Direct Primary Care in Poulsbo. He not only has more time with patients but also charges less for tests and scripts. He's worked hard to help me with multiple medical problems and Gina his nurse is very kind and caring also.
