I came to ECC in a time of crisis when my beautiful sister was in a near fatal car accident. I had…read morePTSD of sorts from the incident and was having nightmares. The grief was disabling during the day also and I was unable to work or do day-to-day tasks, my mind was reeling. I knew there was no way I could do years of counseling to get through it, I needed something fast to help me return to normal life. I called ECC and asked Melanie what she could do to help heal me to accelerate the process of trauma, and get results and relief fast. She introduced me to EMDR and Matrix Reimprinting. I had never heard of such a thing and didn't know the technology behind them , and truly thought they sounded like a waste of time and would not work. But I was desperate. After learning how they work on the brain and body and the historical proven results, I gave them a try. Much to my surprise I was shocked to see that not only did they work but they gave fast results and relief to my grief and pain and reeling thoughts that would not stop. The effects were so positive I couldn't quite believe it could be that easy... I still am baffled and SO incredibly grateful to Melanie and ECC for having these techniques to offer to our community. I attended a workshop from Crave Health as a recommendation from my running coach. I was getting…read moreinjured often and hitting walls on long runs. After some quick evaluation, Ashley pointed out that a ton of flaws in my diet. While it was all healthy to begin with, it was low on carbs and not nearly enough calories to sustain my workout load. Most people tend to think that an RD is to help you lose weight, but Crave Health helped me in a whole different way. The plan put together for me was with my heavy workout load in mind without being too disruptive. I was injury free for the next 4 months and got my best time in my last half-marathon. Recently, I've been going to lose fat without necessarily losing weight. Ashley got me a modified plan and kept tabs on my progress during our visits. I have lost 2% body fat (from 19 to 17% and on my way to reach 15% goal). I have not experienced the challenges from another reviewer in scheduling appts. I work late and Crave Health has a couple of days where they take appts until late afternoon. Scheduling has been easy over email. Check your insurance and you might find out a few visits are covered in your plan. I do recommend Crave health and I'm still a client.

How many times I've heard "he's just a kid" "he can read and write he's doing fine the other things don't matter" "he just has a lot of energy" Dr. Dan had to find out for himself. He worked with my son over appointments, doing testing, talking to him and he agreed with me he has ADHD. He thoroughly walked me through and confirmed a lot of things we see at home and the struggles he will face if ignored. He just *knew* exactly how his diagnosis presents itself at home verses school. We were given many options, a treatment plan, a school assistance plan, and more importantly hope he will not just be put in the back of class or suffer with relationships and professional opportunities later in life. We're beyond grateful for our experience and experiences to come with Dr. Dan. My child absolutely loves going to see him and looks forward to being in his fun office. I was shocked at how quickly my son became comfortable with him. I think the most important part to me was under no circumstance was Dr. Dan interested in providing a bandaid or giving us a "possible" diagnosis. He made sure he was sure and confident of all advice and diagnosis. We now have a tool box ready to go and I'm so excited to see what the future holds for my little guy, rather than being scared or sad at the challenges he will face.
