Normally I prefer to have an in person appointment. However, during Covid it was the safest way to connect. I am sure that Dr. Kass knows her Metier. I am also sure that she's trained in her field. But to pay $1200 or "the special " price of $999 every six months to solemnly check my symptoms is outrageous. Of course an automatic withdrawal form is necessary to become a patient. I was charged $395 to talk to the doctor. The next step is to pay $1000 to be in her program. That of course doesn't cover any medication, which cost another $1000 ... seriously ? What are we selling and receiving? Gold ? I resumed to see my specialist in Beverly Hills. My airline ticket to LA, including my doctors visit is half of the charges Dr. Kass proposed. I initially contacted Dr. Kass for Ed treatment and received far more valuable information. Not only did she treat the Ed successfully during the initial visit she, also gave me invaluable information regarding my type 2 diabetes and how to nearly completely eliminate it. I started seeing Dr. Kass a few months ago. I had anxiety and she told me could help. She put me on a hormone that's pretty much ruined my face and my cycles. She failed to tell me that she added a male hormone in the mix and that it could quite possibly ruin my skin. I have had dozens of pimples covering my face. I am experiencing multiple menstrual cycles in one month. She NEVER warned me of the possible side effects of the hormones even after I ASKED HER. I look in the mirror and am sick to my stomach when a new oversized, painful hard red pimple appears with my surrounding skin being inflamed. This doctor is determined and work hard for her clients. She's calling me at 8pm on a Friday night to follow up with an email I had sent her. I appreciate her going the extra mile. Some things were good about my experience, but in my opinion, the bad outweighs the good at this point. I originally went to Dr. Kass because I believed we had a like-minded idea of health and the healthcare system, which we do. The time spent with her face to face was a great experience as she's very knowledgeable and thorough. Unfortunately, the business-side of this experience has been infuriating, to put it nicely. One thing to note is that Dr. Kass does not partner with any insurance, so expect to pay up-front for everything, even if Naturopaths are covered under your insurance. I paid the fees upon leaving and merely requested an invoice so I could subsequently be reimbursed by my insurance. It turns out, Sage Medical/Dr. Kass filled out the invoices incorrectly. I reached out to Dr. Kass's biller to get clarification. The biller's response was very disrespectful and rude. I asked more clarifying questions as I don't understand medical billing nearly as well as she, but she has ignored all my emails since. It's been about a month now without a response from her. My insurance company has made multiple attempts to contact them as well to no avail. To me, this shows that once they have the money from your initial appointment, they don't care about continuing a relationship with the patient as it's not their problem. In all of my interactions with them, I have been respectful and polite. I have not received that same courtesy in return. All in all, if you're going to go here, expect to get good customer service from Dr. Kass and to be treated rudely and ignored by the business-side. I hope they can adjust this going forward as I really enjoyed seeing Dr. Kass. I just can't see myself ever wanting to go back based on this awful, ongoing experience that still isn't resolved months after my appointment. read more

Dr. Kass is so thorough. She spent most of an hour asking me questions and wanting to know how I am doing in various areas of my life. After a very intensive blood analysis it was determined I was off balance in hormones and needed additional vitamins.
