It took a little longer to get it back and when I did, I discovered they had washed the jacket, Coyote fur and all. The fur trim was ruined and the jacket shrunk. I advised the location what happened and after contacting the store where it was purchased and providing a receipt of the current retail value of the same jacket not produced any more, they wanted a bill of sale. Unfortunately the jacket was purchased 10 years ago and the person who bought it passed away. The store didn't have those records. I did some research and found that the fur could be replaced at a cost of $200-$300. I told them I would take $250 for the cost to replace the fur. Jan. 26, I received a check from Kristine Chenery for $45.00. Apparently customer service isn't their number one priority. So now, I paid for my jacket to get a new zipper, cleaned, have no fur trim and a jacket that's too small for me. And they think the $45.00 is sufficient. Do NOT trust your high end clothing or belongings to this company. And I wonder if the lady who discovered her Canada Goose wasn't hers, ever got her coat back?

Since then, they did not showed up on the return date to return the clothing, they have not answered or returned any of my calls, e-mails, or text messages. The have accepted the money, and at this point 3 weeks later I consider the clothing stolen. I would never recommend this company and think they should be reported for the theft of the clothes and money they took for the cleaning.

This is my go-to laundromat! I'm certainly no fan of doing laundry, especially when it's not…read morelocated in my home! But Tommy Suds definitely makes it more agreeable. They've got plenty of washers and driers, including several giant ones good for washing comforters (or all your clothes in one go if you're especially lazy, like me). There's an entire wall of dryers that seem to be more efficient than a lot of other laundromats I've used. The largest washing machines cost $6, I believe, and they decrease in price down to a standard load at $2.00. The dryers are .25 cents per 15 minutes. They have a coin machine on site to swap bills up to $20 for quarters and loonies. One of the best parts of Tommy Suds is all the extras beyond the standard washer/dryer set up. On the one side of the business they have a cafe setup where you can get coffee, tea, pop, juice, muffins, bagels, chips, cookies, and basic sandwiches. It's no gourmet operation, but it's a nice addition to have a snack while you wait for your laundry. There is also FREE! wifi at Tommy Suds, so you can browse your phone or bring along a laptop to do some work if you want. They also have an assortment of magazines and a TV mounted in the corner that generally shows a variety of news, talk shows, or home improvement shows.
