We rode our bicycles the 10 miles on the Rails-to-Trails bike path from Alexandria to Osakis and stumbled on AJ's Restaurant for breakfast before riding another 10 miles back to Alex. Jeannie, the owner of the restaurant, did a great job making us feel welcome while taking our orders and serving our meals. After sharing a warm caramel roll right out of the oven, we ordered three different 3-egg omelettes. They were all perfectly cooked and filled with delicious veggies and meats. AJ's surpassed our expectations with great food, great service and a down-home small-town hospitality. Gotta throw AJ's the fin.
