We wanted to start early, as it gets hot out later in the morning, and very people-y, too. The earlier, the better. So by default, this is where we went. And we're so glad we did! Reserving the kayak online the night before was super easy. We paid a 50% deposit for an hour rental of a double kayak (it was in total $40 for the hour). We drove to the site and there was a paid parking lot there but, right beside it, there was free 2-hour parking right on the street after 9am. So duh, we parked on the street! The place opened at 9am sharp. The guy and gal who work here COULD NOT BE NICER. They were super organized. They asked if they should charge the remaining $20 to my credit card (sure!), gave us well-fitting life jackets, and brought us to our double kayak. I loved the kayak! My kid and I have kayaked before in Kelowna, and this kayak here was our favorite. It felt very stable in the water. It had backrests, and grooves for our feet inside. It was a very well-made kayak, for sure. And we had the BEST time! We paddled out far in the lake, which is crystal clear and stunning, and marveled at the surrounding mountains and gorgeous scenery. It was already getting hot out, so we were really pleased we came when we did and not later in the day. And the waters hardly had any other boaters at that time of morning, so it was perfect for us. Getting back to shore, the girl who works there came to assist us (well, me, specifically! As the "old lady", apparently I need assistance getting out of the boat on the rocky shore. lol. And I GLADLY took the help!). She was SO nice, and the whole experience was so fun, I highly recommend it! (Side note: I saw that this place also rents out single kayaks, pedal boats, sea-doos, and other boats. I would definitely come back to this company!).

The actual experience of parasailing was amazing. But the staff there (excluding a couple of nice…read moreladies at the stand) were very disorganized and acted like you were being a pain in the ass for asking questions. We had a ride planned at 3 o clock but we didn't get on the boat until probably around 3:45. I was okay with waiting, as long as I have nice staff members answering my questions and understanding my confusion.

Paid a $50 deposit. Came on the day and they just simply told me they don't have any driver and they couldn't do any of those. They did not realize they have a booking. . Wasted 45 mins of our time trying to get what our group wanted and they eventually called a driver replacement for only 15 minutes. Ended up riding for 15 mins and on top of that, no apology was received Please get your business somewhere. Dont make the same mistake as I did

It's important to keep in mind you're not up in the air for very long. You'll be up there about 15 to 20 minutes and will be riding the boat longer only if there are others on board waiting to also parasail. We absolutely loved it! There is no adrenalin rush by any means but it is amazing to be up in the sky looking at the beautiful scenery with the wind blowing through your hair! It cost 75 dollars per person to ride in tandem. Though it's a bit pricier I felt the experience was worth it! I would definitely recommend this here if you've never done it before. Kelowna is a perfect little spot to try it for the first time.

Super awesome times with Ogopogo parasailing…read more $75 pp for 2 parasailers. We were able to walk right up on May long (even with most of the other companies not yet being open for the season and with 25 - 30 degree weather I'm not sure why they hate money so much). With ogopogo your don't HAVE to get wet. You take off and land on a platform - not from the water and not having to be dragged along the beach or anything of that nature. They can let you dip your toes if you or your boatmates decide you should... so be nice to the crew and your boatmates! The winch brings your in and out in a very controlled way and it's very peaceful the whole time in the air. We got super high and had a nice little tour of the lake front in their jet boat (all decked out like the ogopogo). The only ogopogo we saw was on the boat though - the real one evaded us from the air. Ogopogo is located in a little hut along the water front by their pier and is pretty accessible when you aren't looking for them on the road. You'll recognize them on the lake by their giant happy face smiley sail in the sky. That was our first parasailing experience but we'll be doing that again some day.

I was clearly safe and in good hands. Going up was the best part, the wind literally sweeps you off your feet. From the top it was a gorgeous view and a refreshing breeze. We decided not to dunk but on a hot hot day it would probably be welcomed. I highly recommend Eldorado parasail.
