When we started planning our wedding, we had a clear vision. We knew we had the ability to handle many details ourselves. Still, we made the decision to bring in an expert to elevate our ideas and bring them to life the right way. After attending a wedding expo, we felt overwhelmed. We interviewed several planners. From our first meeting, Stacey removed every fear we had. She listened carefully. She understood our vision. She gave us structure, direction, and confidence from day one. For a full year, Stacey and her team guided us through every step. She managed everything. From our stationery to the napkins. From the overall theme to the décor with the florist. She coordinated vendors, negotiated contracts, and kept every moving part aligned. Everything was handled in a timely fashion. Nothing was rushed. Nothing was late. Every detail landed exactly when it needed to. She saved us money. She saved us time. She eliminated stress. I am someone who likes control. It was hard for me to hand the reins over to someone else. Very disappointed with lack of communication,lack of details and professionalism. I attempted to rate this company in 2021, but Stacy deleted it, so hopefully this review will stick. We wasted thousands of dollars hiring Stacy. At first she was attentive towards my daughter, but as time went by she lost interest. The one time we really needed help with her dress, and she didn't return my call. In fact as the MOB she never acknowledged me the day of the wedding except when I asked to move the cards to a safer spot at reception in which she gave me an attitude. Don't expect her to be at the venue the morning of when the bride shows up or stay until the end. She shows up later to take a picture of rings etc with some fake flowers. ( not my daughters). Also, don't bother using the paper company next door. Little black dress. Hugh rip off. I sat at a table next to the owner, who never looked at me never mind acknowledge the person filling her bank account. Bottom line my daughter could have done all the planning herself. The planner at your venue is all you need. Don't waste your money . read more

Our 6/1/24 wedding was an absolute dream and was all we had wanted and more with Stacey and her team (special shout out to the beautiful Melody and Aubrey) by our sides. Stacey and I worked together for a few months leading up to the special day, as I had hired Peony Events for partial wedding planning. Beyond selecting the vendors I had wanted, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the period leading up the wedding and finalizing the small details. Stacey and her team went above and beyond to ensure that I felt reassured and confident in every decision. From coordinating hotel welcome boxes, day-of-stationary, connecting us with our officiant, coordinating directly with the venue and even coming to multiple dress fittings despite being in the height of wedding season - she did it all. I am inspired and in awe of Stacey, cultivating special relationships and being open to sharing all her extensive knowledge with her brides. Stacey and her team at Peony Events were so incredible throughout the entire process of planning my wedding. We hit it off right from the start and she took the time to get to know my fiance and I. I unfortunately had to postpone my May 2020 wedding until August 2020 due to COVID-19 and Stacey was a lifesaver. She took care of everything so that I didn't have to worry or stress about anything and there aren't enough words to say how grateful I was to have her during this stressful time. Stacey made sure to contact all of my vendors for my new date, always gave me her advice on things when I wouldn't be sure of something, and lastly was just always there to listen to me even at the most hectic times. She goes out of her way for her clients and goes above and beyond to make sure that her bride is happy no matter what. She was able to pull off miracles and made my wedding day our fairy tale. But that seems to imply that while it's as good as it gets, one might be able to imagine something better...well, Stacey and Peony Events COMPLETELY EXCEEDED anything I could ever possibly imagine!!! Was initially so exited to work with Stacey and her team. Unfortunately with COVID we had to rethink everything. Stacey had a pretty uncomfortable clause in her contract that I did not feel good about. I mentioned it to her and she assured me "oh that never happens." Well then it did. COVID did. 2 weeks after I signed her contract. Stacey and her team did nothing for me, we let them know immediately that our wedding was off and they refused to give me my deposit back despite knowing I was not rescheduling. They finally gave me half the deposit back and held onto $625 for what... good measure? My other vendors were amazingly considerate and accommodating and in 5 years when the world is another place I'd be the first one to call them up. Not Peony Events. Her "sweet" demeanor turned rude and cold and horrid quite quickly. I would not recommend Stacey during this time at all. And was quite horrified at how she manages business. read more

Stacey and her team at Peony events are top notch! The first best decision we made was getting married the second best decision was working with Peony Events! From our first meeting with Stacey we clicked instantly! Stacey was truly interested in us as a couple; our likes, dislikes and hobbies, not only our vision or ideas for the wedding. By Stacey getting to know us as a couple she was able to create the best day of our lives that was beyond all of our dream and expectations! Stacey was diligent in responding to emails, calls, attending meetings and keeping us on track on making deadlines. Stacey had a lot of amazing vendors for us to work with and we could not have been happier with each and every vendor she recommended. Stacey help guide us in creating a wedding day and vision that was classic yet elegant. In almost every meeting when we were asked what we like/want we both immediately would look to Stacey for guidance - she has an AMAZING eye!! Stacey took care of literally everything on our wedding weekend, including being a calming force for me, making sure a surprise for the groom went off without a hitch and making sure all of the details we planned together were executed properly. She also did not let us know about any hiccups that may have occurred which in turn allowed us to soak up every moment of our wedding weekend and enjoy being with loved ones. We are still hearing from family & friends that this was the best wedding they have ever attended and that is because of Stacey and Peony Events! We hired Peony for our wedding, & we can't say enough amazing things about this company! Stacey was so awesome to work with: warm personality, encouraging and supportive, full of ideas, but also truly listened to our ideas and helped us implement them. Stacey went above and beyond, taking the time to help us realize the exact kind of wedding we wanted, from meeting us in person to discuss our vision, to meeting us at our venue to see the space and choose our signature cocktails, to many email exchanges and supportive phone calls. Also, Peony exemplifies professionalism and organization. I just felt I had someone on my team who had every piece of information down pat. Above all, Stacey and her team executed the day perfectly. When I arrived at the church, Stacey and her intern were there, taking all the pressure off our families. When we arrived at our venue, the Watermark in Asbury Park, it looked so amazing, down to the last detail. Stacey knows how to use space and make an event look spectacular and feel chic and welcoming at the same time. Also, there were little surprises too - touches that Stacey added herself that were beyond beautiful and perfectly chosen. The Watermark is a unique wedding venue, too, and Peony founds ways to maximize its charm and awesome layout. The deck, bar area, dance floor area, and lounge areas were all beautiful, and Stacey made sure the space was utilized cleverly, so that everyone had plenty of room to dance, socialize, relax, eat and drink.
