I cannot say enough about TES! Karyn spoke with me for about 45 minutes in August and immediately…read moreknew which job would be perfect for me. Things came together and now I am in a position that is a terrific fit for me and the company. Taking the time to listen and check in frequently is how they operate and even after I got the job I got a good luck on your first day message. Highly recommend!!!

I am a Middle School Principal and my school contracts with TES Staffing to provide substitute…read moreteachers and support staff. As a small school it's tough for us to build and maintain a pool of subs, because we can't offer daily work. When the idea of a shared substitute pool through a temp agency came up, I was concerned that with the teacher shortage we would not get good candidates. Not all the candidates are teachers, but they are able to communicate with middle schoolers, which is a great quality. TES took on the task of advertising and recruiting candidates and uses it's dedicated staff to make calls to subs quickly and efficiently. This has taken the burden of filling missing staff positions out of the hands of my very busy clerical staff, which saves us time and stress. We have been able to build up a group of subs that we know and trust and are able to select them first. I have been pleased with the quality of candidate that we receive and the frequency that positions are filled. I know it's tough to find subs and many districts struggle, but an unfilled position is a rarity in our building which makes teachers happy. Happy teachers make happy Principals! I've worked with several members of the TES team over email and on the phone and they have been responsive, understanding and prompt in finding solutions. This is my first experience using a temp agency, and I have been extremely pleased.

When I contacted the person who oversees the veteran side of contracts, I was told not to contact him again and to only communicate with a specific recruiter. I then contacted that recruiter, who informed me there were no contracts available for me. After that, I received no further communication despite follow-ups. This experience was extremely disappointing. Clear communication and basic professional courtesy go a long way, and unfortunately that was not my experience.

I…read morehave spent time reviewing some of my background with placement agents, stating my minimum rate--usually the top end of what they're willing to pay--and have never scheduled a single interview. I have dozens of Indotronix phone numbers blocked in my phone from their recruiters calling and acting like I was a new lead, when we had spoken that day, or that week. There is always some catch to the positions not revealed, e.g., "onsite positions" requiring travel using your own vehicle to sites, no overtime pay, or other strange restrictions not common in the field, or downright not legal. There have also been far too many examples of recruiters asking for PII they have absolutely no legal business requesting, like photos of ID and SSN cards, full SSNs, and full DOB. Do not provide any of this information to a recruiter, they will only be requested during hiring by the employer, by HR, Payroll, or a verification department. With all respect returned, I stand by the original assessment: This does not seem like a legitimate placement agency. At the very least, they employ individuals running their own data-gathering business inside the company. I have two decades experience with placement agents, and have received a lot of calls from Indotronix over the years, never once leading to an interview. Yet I still get calls and emails for the exact same positions as when they started calling years back.
