    Favorite store in the world …read more I go a few times a week . You know you're living when you get your food and clothes at the same place . If you know - you know They always have something I need or can use . Bulk save me money and I can meal prep very easily . Easy in and easy out- I don't like the self check outs... I've never been given and I serve lol and sometimes they aren't the best at catching the bar codes - first world problems huh .     Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Customer Service at Fairfield Costco…read more To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an experience I recently had at the Fairfield Costco while attempting to purchase a massage chair for my grandmother. Upon arriving at the store, I was informed by staff that there was one massage chair available, new and still in its original packaging. However, as I proceeded with the purchase, I encountered significant challenges in my interactions with members of management, specifically Paul, the night manager, and Seth. Throughout the process, I found the communication from both individuals to be unprofessional and lacking in customer-focused service. My questions and concerns were not addressed in a constructive manner, and I was left with the impression that my efforts to complete the purchase were viewed as an inconvenience. In particular, Seth appeared unwilling to assist in resolving the matter and indicated that he would not be handling the situation further. What was especially concerning was the inconsistency in the information I received. Initially, I was informed that the chair could not be sold because there was no available inventory. However, after I requested Costco Corporate's contact information, I was subsequently told that the display model could be sold. This contradiction created confusion and frustration and raised concerns about the accuracy and transparency of the information provided. As a long-time Costco member who spends a substantial amount at Costco each month, I expect to be treated with professionalism, respect, and honesty. Unfortunately, I left the store feeling dismissed and undervalued. While I cannot speak to the intentions of those involved, the interaction left me with the impression that I may have been treated differently because of my appearance and skin color. Regardless of intent, that was the impact the experience had on me. Customers may not always remember every detail of an interaction, but they do remember how they were treated. Regrettably, this experience left me feeling less like a valued member and more like a concern that management preferred not to address. I have already contacted Costco Corporate and am currently awaiting a response from the district manager. My hope is that this matter will be reviewed thoroughly and that appropriate steps will be taken to ensure all customers are treated with the respect, courtesy, and professionalism that Costco strives to uphold.
