I've had five visits to this clinic, and am completely impressed by the quality of treatment I received. First visit was for a frozen shoulder, and one treatment took care of it. The remaining visits were for a hand injury from a bicycle accident. Pain is gone. I'm delighted. The community treatment model takes some getting used to, because up to 20 people may be getting treatment in an open room at the same time as you. But the chairs and music are relaxing, and the acupuncturists, Chadwick Moyer, L.Ac. and Shanai Moyer, L .Ac., are simply top notch! read more

Every time I go, I feel like I've gone to a spa. I love the serene and beautiful space. I love Chad's gentle, caring manner, and the way he tries to fit me in if I spontaneously call and request an appointment. It's also super easy to book online at any time of the day or night. I appreciate that this is covered by my health plan, and Chad takes care of the billing. I do not like needles and it's that needle thing that has kept me from ever trying out acupuncture before. But I kept hearing about what a wonderful experience a few a my friends were having with People's Choice Community Acupuncture, so I gave in and tried it. I was very comfortable with a side of anticipation that was gnawing on my fears. Anyways I was lying down, music playing, eyes closed and Chad was in the process of applying the acupuncture. I didn't notice until I realized he had touched my arm and I ask him - "have you started?" I had about 6-8 needles in me. I knew he was touching me in the various areas, but I thought he was preparing me. Well I was wrong and the needles you hardly feel them. I was impressed and started spreading the word too. Don't think twice MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! My husband has been having a lot of aches and pains and we have been dealing with so much stress like we all do as we go through life and he wanted me to set up an appointment to go see a chiropractor but put of curiosity I started researching acupuncture instead and am so grateful to have found People's Choice. I went for years but stopped due to 1) my discomfort with the unhealthy "energy" of both providers and 2) questionable insurance billing practices. More than once, my insurance was double billed and it was even billed for two visits when I was not even there! After Blue Cross called to tell them that it wasn't legal to bill for services that patients did not receive, they tried to charge me almost the full price of a group visit as a "no show" fee. When they attempted to bill me another $75 for EVERY visit in addition to the enormous amount my insurance had already paid them (BC paid approximately $175 for each session), it was the last straw. Perhaps if I didn't have insurance I would not have had such a problem. read more
