It is not a large operation like the state-run Atlanta Farmers market. It is set in the Aberdeen Shopping Center Parking lot, behind the Bank of America at the corner of Northlake Drive and Hwy 54. You will also find multiple baked goods, spices, ready to eat foods plus food carts, beef, chicken, pork, honey, apples, cakes, boiled peanuts, flowers, mushrooms, ravioli, tamales, and a few crafts such as mine. I must disclose that I set up there on both days. I sharpen knives, scissors, and garden tools. On Saturday there are typically 50 or more vendors. Wednesdays about 15. (Me included) Still lots of produce and baked goods on Wednesdays. Really nice people - I've been there for two months+ and have yet to hear a harsh word or disparaging remark. The customers are great as well. Dogs and children are welcomed.

I had an early dinner here with a friend of mine Sunday and we loved it!! This place is so good…read more It's inside of a small Mexican grocery store (bodega/corner store vibes). The owners know how to pack a lot into a small space, haha. The workers here were friendly and very helpful. I was a little confused about ordering and paying and the woman upfront was eager to help. She was super nice. I'm used to paying up front if we don't have a designated server but here you order at the kitchen, grab your drink, enjoy your food and pay before you leave or while you're waiting. I will know for next time :) The food was awesome. I LOVED the birria tacos. My friend and I shared them. The meat was cooked perfectly, cheese was plentiful (the way I like it for sure), and the consumé was flavorful. My friend had the chicken quesadilla. She said it was a little on the boring side but still good. We shared the beef empanada and both enjoyed it. I like that they "dress it up." Everything was fresh and made to order The order came out fairly quickly! There is lots of parking available. I liked the community feel inside. The food is authentic and very affordable. I will 100% be back.

DRINKS (4/5): $3.25 (16 oz) LARGE BREWED COFFEE: LOVE IT! Tastes fresh, strong & delicious. $5.25 (16 oz) (+$1 soy milk) LAVENDER LATTE: I hate the extra charge for a milk substitute. Starbucks got rid of the additional charge for switching milks, I wish everywhere else did also. As far as the drink, it was a subtle taste of lavender, but delicious! I love their coffee. FOOD (4/5): $4.50 HONEY CHEESE MOCHI PANCAKE: this is a BEST SELLER for a reason! If you love the chewy taste of mochi, you will LOVE this! It's warm, chewy, slightly sweet from the honey, and has a ton of cream cheese in the center. 10/10!!! $4.25 SAUSAGE ONION PASTRY: in the hot case. Savory hot dog wrapped in cheese and onions on top a flaky pastry with slightly sweet ketchup or bbq sauce on top. Perfect light breakfast bite. $3.50 CURRY CROQUETTE: Crispy on the outside & soft on the inside (I recommend reheating in the oven @ 425 for 10 min). I wish there was more curry inside, but still tasty! Light & savory. $3.75 STRAWBERRY SOFT BREAD: SUPER SOFT & FLUFFY! Filled with a light strawberry cream, not too overpowering. It's simple, but addicting! I keep coming back for it. SERVICE (3/5): It's odd they charge for tip at the register when it's a self-serve business, although I did see them refilling the pastry cases & they do make the coffee. On the weekends it gets busy, tons of turnover, but the tables were DIRTY! They need to be better about wiping them down more often. OVERALL (4/5): Love this place! You can get a coffee and pastry for $10! What a steal. Lots of pastry options for everyone, both sweet and savory. Perfect for a special occasion if you want a single slice of cake or a whole one or small treat! Fancy feel, but very affordable.

My sister-in-law took me and my husband here recently, and we were amazed! I don't eat sweets often, but when I do, I tend to go for berry-flavored cakes or cupcakes. I decided to try a slice of strawberry cream cake. My husband and sister-in-law got a mixture of items, including some delicious cheese pancakes. Everything was divine and honestly, not overly sweet (which I appreciated). I will definitely go back for a visit next time I'm in the area. I look forward to trying one of their coffee drinks.

Country Gardens offers a variety of fresh vegetables, meats, eggs, even raw milk for your pets! My pets quite enjoyed the raw milk and we will certainly be getting some more on our next visit. Welcoming you to this sub'untry enclave is multiple goats, loads of chickens, a couple of great pyrenees, and a few miniature horses; perhaps they are ponies, I'm not really sure about that. After you park go visit the animals. After all you might later purchase some of their brethren. That's right kiddies.. those lovely chickens you are cooing to lay oodles of gigantic organic*, free-range*, all-grain* diet eggs. And those eggs are spectacular, which is a good thing at $5 per dozen. Country Gardens might even have some of those pastured* chickens frozen in the freezer waiting to be purchased, cooked up, and eaten. They also have loads of grass-fed*, chemical-less*, meat "products" like young goat, cow, or pork. There is even raw milk fresh from Country Gardens own dairy down the road. If that doesn't completely rock your socks off, and it does mine because I am one of those crazy bitches who wants to know exactly how many friends my dinner had while alive, what kind of music it liked to listen to, and what it's favorite hobbies were (Portlandia), then be prepared to get excited about the large quantity and great quality of their garden products. Oh yes. Not just a farm...but a nursery....for plants...lots of plants. All the plants I saw here looked great. Prices were good. I didn't really notice a difference in what I would have paid at big box nursery vs here. On top of the fresh meat and eggs, beautiful plants, and live animals, they also have a gorgeous vegetable garden and during the summer you can often purchase fresh*, organic*, obviously local* vegetables here. They have a CSA that delivers to Peachtree Road Farmers Market. So anyhoo to sum up the review, this place is great. It is a haul from Atlanta proper, but the eggs you get here are freaking A-MAZING, and the dogs are nice, and the animals cute, and the plants pretty, and so on and so forth...... *Had to throw in as many buzzwords as possible in order to meet my "what white people like" daily quota
