Went here with a couple of friends last Saturday night to try it out and was appalled that when I checked my bank statement I was charged 240 dollars!! We paid cash to get in the door, and I only used my card for the $50 drink minimum for private room. I never added Tip but tipped cash now I see I'm charged 240 dollars. Ridiculous. I called my bank and reported the problem. Didn't think they ran a shady establishment , ANYONE WHO GOES HERE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE THINK TWICE USING YOUR CARD HERE! I went to peppermint hippo, and it was the worst experience I've ever had at a strip club. Not only was the girl I went to go see no longer there. The mangers tell you you can't pick your own girl because they have them in rotation. I've never been to a club where I have to go with the ugly girls on the day shift managers want you to take. This club is corrupt. I knew strip clubs could be sleazy this place takes it to another level. They sneak fees in sequence so you don't see them coming. It's a tourist trap. They pressure the girls to collect tips for the hosts. Why would the host a tip anyway? On top of that it's gross to pressure the girls to collect tips for the guy all he has to do is swipe a card. $100 minimum for dance (no touching). $300 for what is normally a $40 dance at my home club. 20% fee to pay with card. (what kind of greedy insanity is that? card companies charge 3% max!) They take the tip before the dance. They want a 20% tip for the hosts in addition to the girl. The girl told me if I don't tip the hosts she will get in trouble. They take this tip before the dance also. Minimum order of $50 in drinks per dance. They preselect a 20% tip for you for the drinks you didn't know you were buying. read more

Just left this place with my wife and a couple of girlfriends. My wife had a more revealing top (we just came from XS and she had Pasties). They demanded she put on her jacket and wouldn't let her in otherwise. They gave her the option for a t shirt but my wife didn't want to wear some random t shirt at first. Once inside the club was boiling and she was trapped in her jacket. Security was glaring at her all night and wouldn't let her out of their sight (she's 5'4 100 lb blonde) she's a real threat. She went to go ask for the t shirt initially offered because of the heat but all of sudden they wanted to charge her for the shirt. Whatever, she kept her jacket on and we stayed for about a hour. On the way out the security continually chastised my wife and poked fun at her for wearing a jacket after they forced her to wear a jacket: Only reason for 2 stars is when we complained to the actual dancers they all thought security was crazy. I normally spend 1-2K on dances for my wife and I at these clubs but we drank our drink requirement and left with nothing. Shit overall attitude on the bouncers. If you're worried about someone coming from a nightclub down the strip taking tips based on what she's wearing maybe re-evaluate your business model. Also no prostitution signs all over the place. My friends and i went to peppermint hippo on 4/7/24 , Karina was taking care of us and immediately had a horrible attitude the entire time , us being served she would not even give change for a $10 bill in ones, we then found out unfortunately Alysia left the establishment after we stated she'd always accommodate..which is a big impact of why we will not return the customer service she provided were above and beyond and the service we just received can guarantee a no return, sad to say but this is not the customer service we were hoping for hopefully Karina can either get the proper training or have better costumer service skills let alone communication. read more

After giving multiple chances and opportunities, this club has failed to deliver on any improvement of staff and the procedures have gotten worse. The cocktails waitress up-charge and even double charge you for drinks on purpose as if there is a motive to increase the bill or they get commission for every order they take. The times I've asked for the receipt they denied me any opportunity to see instead they humiliate customers by saying if you can't afford a drink then don't come. This is beside the point, as a paying customer I'd like to know what I am being charged for. On the quality of alcohol, it is very watered down. Moving towards the entertainment aspect every single one of the staff members that work the VIP desk act very entitled as if they're better than you and condescendingly talk to you in a way as if you don't understand what is going on or they speak in a way to make you regret your initial complaint. I have friends that went into the vip of which they paid upfront for, only to be offered a 10 min experience, all the while the employee took off excusing they had to use the restroom but instead was wasting time hanging out at the bar. On a final note, charging locals house fees because you don't want to drink and drive is just an excuse to keep charging for a location that has since become mediocre in matters of hospitality. I understand cabs get kick backs for bringing in guest but why would you be charging locals if they take Uber or Lyft. IMO stay away or get better treatment at a different bar entertainment venue. read more

Maybe it's just me, but I like to see diversity while in a gentleman's club. Being able to pick from all variables, the atmosphere was ok, drinks were drinks, I mean it's liquor & juice/soda can't really mess that up. BUT WHERE ARE THE BLACK DANCERS? BLACK WORKERS? Idk, but that kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I love all women but black woman should be shown off just as much! And I didn't get that vibe. Good things there's other clubs to go too. First off. I arrived and the doorman were good. Supper friendly and welcoming, but once you're through it's a money pit. The dancers will do their best to SUCK YOU DRY. One of the girls told me she was top in sales and tried to get me to spend over $1000 for only 30 minutes. I would not give into that. After a 15 minute dance for $300+ she kept trying to get me to spend more. I've had better experiences at car dealerships where you sing your life away for a term that ruins your life. After leaving and standing in the parking lot waiting for ride share I watched two female guests show up for 5 minutes and leave with some regulars. I couldn't even get a sip of my first drink before they were trying to get me to spend even more. Some of the dancers here will RISK EVERYTHING for a couple hundred. I've lived in Vegas for 15 years, I only go to the strip clubs out here to eat, hang out or to bring friends in when they're visiting from out of town. Hands down this place shits on all of the other strip clubs in town. They take care of their locals, the prices are considerably low for bottle service, music is good, the dancers are hot and they have food trucks outside with every kind of food imaginable.
