We were pleasantly surprised by our excellent service and delicious food on our recent weekday visit. Our order was promptly taken and our food came out quickly. A garden salad was lightly dressed and a veggie pizza was cooked to perfection and was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in the Township 5 Plaza. However, this evening, I had simply forgotten my wallet at home, and asked if I could show the cashier my picture ID. I am proudly "of age" and have no problem showing my ID for 21+ purchases, as I have been "legal" for years now. The manager was present and, as expected (its the law of course) responded by saying that I had to have physical identification under the law. I understood and started to make my way out. I also stated that I'm a regular and that I am familiar with the staff, providing a brief description. he then said that he is the manager and that he never saw me. The manager further asked me quote, "If I Was fucking stupid". This was the MOST disrespectful experience that I have ever had at ANY establishment. I am a student veteran who has been a resident of Syracuse for several years, and a loyal patron to my community, and was extremely taken aback and offended by the manager's remarks. Perhaps, my young age or maybe even race gave the false notion that I am to be disrespected. Never at any point was I too insistent or did I disagree with me being refused purchase ( I was literally leaving the store as I was verbally disrespected, mind you) .Lastly he said to "never come back again", as earlier after I was refused purchase due to not having physical ID I stated that I would return with my physical ID/wallet. I did not plan to return after receiving the amount of rude disrespect and simply extremely UNPROFESSIONAL behavior from the MANAGER, as he stated to me what his role was. However, I am compelled to write this detailed review to warn potential patrons before they consider supporting such a disrespectful and rude establishment. I am still in disbelief and shock as I write this review, what an unpleasant, what an unprofessional, downright disrespectful experience!

The lady at the counter saw the types of things I was choosing and made other recommendations based on it. Further, because I chose so many items I received a discount! Who doesn't love a discount? This store is located in Destiny USA, at the carousel entrance, across from Panera Bread. The store is sectioned off by spirits. They have packaged items you can purchase as gifts also. Their prices are well beyond reasonable. Some are honestly a dollar or 2 cheaper than the usual liquor store. They have a VIP club you can sign up with to receive notifications on discounts and sales. Plus you get discounts when you spend $100 or more. Even if you don't spend $100, there are other discounts for purchasing multiple items. If you like wine, they have a variety of choices from sweet to dry. They also have some in the cooler if you don't want to wait to have a cold glass of white. So next time you're in the mall, or near the mall, visit Sip Sip Hooray and celebrate whatever occasion you have. Or just celebrate the ability to get alcohol for a great price!

In this case, the answer to both is no. Liquor Square is huge, with high ceilings and tons of shelves, a space that gives off a bit of a warehouse vibe. Nonetheless, this is a pretty nice liquor store. Their selection is vast and laid out in a way that makes it easy to browse. On a somewhat recent visit, a staff member saw me eyeing the whites, asked if I needed assistance, and then gave me really thoughtful recommendations on Chardonnays (which I took and didn't regret.) Also, they have a good assortment of pre-chilled wine in a cooler near the entrance, which makes it super easy to run in and grab something if you're shopping last-minute and need something in a rush. On the whole, very convenient.

It was $41 for Madeira wine, Marsala wine, coffee liquor and Limoncello. They even had a pink Limoncello! The selection is huge and they have a ton of options.
