Thought it time for an update. This is a local farmer market that serves Northfield, Macedonia, Bedford, and Twinsburg. It's been there forever. Produce is pretty quality and fresh. Deli is active and you can get a great sandwich to go there. Meat section is OK. They have everything you might need and have their own sausages. Bakery is OK too. Good wine, beer selection. They also have a frozen food and dry food sections. Prices are the main issue with me. Currently when writing this the prices are high. But everything is fresh and quality. You gotta know and pick and choose. You can find deals. This is a good place to go just have to understand the price and market value of what you're buying. Service up front tends to be teenagers. Deli and bakery tends to be older adults. Easy to navigate and not too big. read more

again this place blows, outdated food, bad workers, shit service and get this ,while shopping lastweek in the meat case they had blood dripping on the beef at the lower shelves in packaged area. this place is gross. don't shop at this store . kids on phones ,deli workers that pretend your not there. Peppers!!! THIS is the place! Their weekly specials are the BEST! I shop here every week and enjoy every minute of my shopping experience. The deli counters "Big Pounder hogie sub sandwich is to write home about. It's huge with ONE POUND of your choice of deli meat plus fixings! It blows every sub restaurant away! Its inexpensive too. IT'S unreal! Their Frostop brand root beer in my opinion is the best I've ever tasted. And bakery? OMG!!! It's fabulous! Huge selection too. Bagged chips are $1.99 for some brands and you can't find that anywhere, I can't praise Peppers enough, I LOVE, LOVE this store! Their staff are so welcoming and friendly. Always Ample parking. I'm shopping there today! I live 32 miles away and drive here weekly. read more

The Deli was giving customers pre sliced lunchmeat, The roast beef I received was terrible. Probably sitting for days. All delis I have been to slice your lunchmeat on demand. This place is just plain lazy. read more

Peppers is a small market, so don't expect to be able to meet all your shopping needs here. However, their meat and produce are very good, especially when you compare the prices to other grocery stores in the area. The deli has a pretty decent selection, I thought their smokies were excellent. They also have a unique selection of beer, along some hard seltzer and teas. There are only 2 or 3 registers, so i can imagine it being a little slow if you go during peak hours. If you are one of those people who don't mind going to a few different stores, this is a great place to get your meat and produce. read more

This place is right around the corner from my house and I have been coming here for probably 15 years. It is the only Pepper's Market there is, so it is a one of a kind experience. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. The food is always fresh and it is all reasonably priced. I get all my fruits, meats and veggies from here as well as other things! It is always my first go-to spot when grocery shopping. read more

This review is strictly regarding checkout today: Pepper's website states they have a "friendly team of employees" I just left the store and was sadly shocked by the rudeness of the cashier at checkout. I said hello she didn't respond. So I said it again. No response. So, I said how are you and she mumbled something under her breath. I took it lightly as I know I'm very friendly and others are not! What astonished me is she packed my bag, handed me my change, and left the bag on her side of the register. She then turned her back towards me. I had to move to her side of the register to get my bag. This is the first time I've encountered such rudeness at this establishment and it was totally unnecessary! read more

I've heard of peppers from my sister in law. I only go there for the deli meat because their prices are great and the salami is tasty! The 3 star however is for the poor customer service in the deli department. May be due to over work or short staffed but the lady could speak and at least say HI. She never asks what I need, maybe she can read minds? read more

Though Peppers is a market, this review is solely based on the pies at Peppers. Try saying then ten times fast! For the past two years, we've picked up pies from Peppers for Thanksgiving. This year we picked up the apple walnut and a Danish. In the past, we've had pumpkin and pina colada. There's not much you can say about pie, other then, well, you know when you're eating a really good one versus a lousy one... and Peppers makes a darn good pie. The Apple Walnut has a rich, Apple flavor that isn't overpowered by sugar. The crust is flaky and done just right. Peppers clearly knows what they're doing on homemade bakery, and we'll be continuing to buy their tasty treats for future holidays! read more

Agree with recurring comments about uncaring and even rude staff closing before published closing time because there is no adult in charge here. Shop here daily? Doesn't matter, they'll shut the door early in your face. SO MANY locals want to love this place, I'd really like to hear from adult owners who make it feel like they care in return. After all these years, I'm finally done with it. This has been going on MUCH longer than current labor market issues. If you own this business, show up and show your neigborhood customers you care. Worst staff I have ever encountered, I live in the area and I go here to get something quick just so I don't have to stop at Walmart and get stuck in a line. But I had a late night at work and I had to stop to get bread, the store was going to close in 20 minutes when I got there so I figured it wouldn't be that much of a burden. WRONG! The employees are all a bunch of 4 year olds I was going to check out and I was getting nothing but dirty looks and one of the employees was actually crying and shouting about how she shouldn't be here this late. I looked at my clock it was 10 minutes before they closed and the manager came up to me saying "why won't you leave." "why are you here?!" I just said nothing and left. This was just an experience that I plant not to re-visit. read more

Peppers consistently locks their doors 15 minutes prior to closing. There will be a woman standing at the door. Experience is typically better when the younger people are the cashiers, as they are more friendly. This is one of the last places that I would willingly spend my money. read more

Pepper's Market, while small, is loaded with good products. It has a small country store feel to it, and I like that. The produce is always fresh and at a good price, and the staff is always friendly. We go out of our way to get our meats, fruit, and vegetables here. On Saturday mornings, they have corn beef sandwiches back in the deli that are also worth the trip. The bakery is small and located in the back of the store, but here you can get a variety of pies, breads, and pastries. Their nut and poppy seed rolls are fantastic. You can also grab a complementary cup of coffee while you shop. I wish there were more little "farm market" stores like Peppers. I like the products they provide -- many locally sourced -- and I like supporting local small businesses that provide an excellent value. read more

High quality produce and good prices. Many of the employee attitudes leave a lot to be desired....I think some of them hate their job! Visited yesterday....a worker was pulling a cart with onions and potatoes down the aisle in opposite direction we were walking. We kindly stepped out of her way...and expected perhaps an "excuse me" ........nothing It's happened before ......did you ever get the feeling that you were an interruption to their day? One of the best things that ever happened to the Northfield area. The meats are fantastic and priced well, the deli counter meats are so much cheaper than Giant Eagle. The fruits and vegtables are always well stocked and fresh. A great market for sure.......... read more

I love this place! Great prices, fresh food and a convenient spot for me. My only suggestion would be to have earlier hours for the weekdays. Sometimes I forget stuff like milk or eggs for breakfast and I don't want to drive to giant eagle. 7:30 would be great and not 9! read more

This place is amazing. I stopped on my way home from visiting a client. I just needed a few things but I ended up doing all my grocery shopping. This is a real deal market!! Everything is super fresh, the staff is amazingly helpful, and they have every bit of quality food one would need. The produce was super fresh and great looking, with a solid variety; the meats were reasonably priced and in good quantity; the deli counter was very well priced; and, I didn't have to stop at the WSM when I got home. If this place was near my home, I would shop here weekly as my main market of choice. read more

I wish there were a Pepper's in my neighborhood. I do stop in the area once a week and have learned to always stop in here before leaving. The produce is priced right. The bakery items are wonderful. Great meats at excellent prices. The greatest deli counter anywhere! Today I got to try their prepared corn beef sandwich from the deli - OUT OF THE PARK. Really awesome produce selection. Really good meats. In the summer they grill ribs outside, I think a full slab is $12.99...they are SO good! We get them every week. read more

fresh veggies...yum and the steaks are to die for.....so thick and can be cut with butter knife....my daughter likes her steak extra rare-- i like mine med rare....threw them on the grill with some of the huge baking potatoes they sell....meal fit for a queen...lol read more
