My youngest son who is autistic came on the tour and he was actually the one who picked our place. There was two units available an upstairs which was chosen by my son and a downstairs unit which I actually wanted. Ashley made the whole tour enjoyable and made it feel like we were home. It's very peaceful, clean, well kept up. We just moved in, in August and already feel like we've been at home for a while now. The neighbors are so kind. Most fix break in your apartment within 3-6 months , some of these apartments are over 15 years old and they need repairing or replacing items . The dryer takes forever to dry clothes even with light loads . Most people with dogs do not pick up their poop. People drive very fast in this community, there is beautiful turkey birds on this community but the residents seems like they don't respect the animals here , they drive fast almost killing a turkey bird . The assistant manger , I overheard her telling someone this resident has missed payments to rent many times and then laughed after that . The leasing office people , they create drama in their heads like they are high school girls . Rent for 2bed 1.5 bath is total $2,200 without the side bills , side bills can be $300-$500 . This is my second lease with Kirker creek, I'll be moving out when this lease is up . This place is almost 10 mins away from the closest shopping center . WiFi sucks here also so you have to pay for an hotspot or pay for internet . Lots of people smoke cigarettes on this community too , so you will get second hand smoke

We came for a viewing and was met by Emily she's the sweetest lady. She was So welcoming and very helpful! Thank you miss Emily! The application didn't have a fee which was very nice!! From the time we applied to the time we were approved and moved in it took less than 2 weeks! Miss Emily made everything so smooth and was very very very accommodating to our situation (we had to be out of our last place of residence by April ) she was very communicative through phone calls and emails and had the process move along really quickly! The apartment is beautiful we got the two bedroom two bath and an upstairs unit in a two story building. We absolutely love it! The walls are so insulated you can't hear a thing from below or outside at all! We have high ceilings and very spacious rooms! The huge master bed bathroom/bathtub is so luxurious! All the appliances are super modern and clean! They had installed brand new carpet the day of the move in as well. The unit comes with washer and dryer which is so important when you have kids like I do. The balcony railings are tall and spaces between the rails are small enough that my two year old can go outside without the threat of falling or getting between or over them. The property has two beautiful pools each with a hot tub! Pool hours are 9-9 so it's so nice! There's a full sized gym with cardio equipment and a dumbbell rack that goes up to 60s it's not super heavy but great to get a solid pump. Smith machine, leg extension and hamstring machine and preacher curl machine along with an adjustable cable pulldown/pull up machine. Pull-up/dip bar and pec deck. I love the gym lol. There's a scenic view/look out point that allows you to see the entire delta which is so beautiful!! The grounds are kept so clean and the garbage areas are emptied daily so it never over flows or attracts bugs. Parking is decent we have one reserved spot and for our second car they have other spots available (a lot actually). This community is pet friendly and everyone picks up after their dogs. The overall vibe in my opinion is a working middle/upper class. There isn't any people hanging out in the parking lot blasting music or selling drugs. Everyone seems to be just home relaxing or at work. If you can afford it is most definitely give this place a look into!!! We live to call here home!!!

Things got so out of hand that we had to call the police on him, and after several attempts to get in touch with the leasing management, they only decided to do something once the cops were involved and a report was made. To this day, our neighbors downstairs blasts his music with bass - the walls and floors tremble and I'm convinced the downstairs neighbor does this purposely after complaining about hearing footsteps from our unit above him. The complex doesn't feel safe. There's never any parking for visitors. The pool can be cleaner especially during the summer - maybe some weekend cleaning can be added? The management team took months to address our renters insurance issue and even started charging us because they didn't process it on their end. Poor management. The staff needs to be kept in the loop about what's going on. Our car has been egged,. A report was made and no update followed. In order to get anything done, we have to walk into the leasing office otherwise you can expect no updates from the team. Recently, a car blew up in the parking lot and the floors are still covered In debris, the covered parking spaces are burned and needs fixing but nothing has been done yet and all you smell is burnt rubber. Policy states that dogs cannot be above 25lbs and yet, there are so many large dog breeds and irresponsible adults that don't pick their dogs poop up. Makes walking my own small dog so hard because there ate large, stinky poop everywhere. Sadly, I don't think we'll renew once our lease is up. We don't feel safe here. It looks nice but SMV is not well kept even though it has SO much potential. Oh and don't forget all the pigeons that fly around and crap all over the balcony and make homes in your storage area...

For the most part, the residents who live here are very nice and friendly, but management really struggles with communication and addressing concerns and providing real amenities for the rents that are being charged. They're also just downright inconsiderate sometimes. For such a lovely, quiet property in a great neighborhood and a great location, it would be nice if management could get it together.

Everyone else in the office seemed to far "busy" to help of provide any real communication. Instead of solutions, I watched Charleen repeatedly shift blame onto other people while offering absolutely no assistance herself. To make matters worse, both managers dragged their feet processing my application even though the system showed i was already approved. I was asked to sign a lease and purchase renters insurance, which i did and provided proof of, only to then be told the system was "wrong." So which is it? Approved enough to sign paperwork and spend money, but suddenly not approved when its time to actually move forward. The entire process felt disorganized, careless, and honestly like no one in the office was on the same page. I was asked for documents that made no sense and seemed completely unnecessary. Meanwhile my apartment search was being delayed because management couldn't seem to figure out their own system. At a certain point you have to ask yourself why getting approved for an apartment is being made this difficult when everything on the applicants side has been completed. It starts to feel less like a process issue and more like management picking and choosing who they want on the property. Overall, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic communication was shocking. The only person who showed any level of competence or customer service was Toni. Everyone else made what should be a simple application process unnecessarily difficult and incredibly discouraging . I strongly recommend management reevaluate how this office is being run, because right now it reflects very poorly on the property.
